• Rémy (9/5): Une nuit originale, idéal pour faire plaisir aux enfants - Dormir dans un baril c’était top surtout pour notre fils de 5 ans C’est très mignon et très confortable, probablement notre meilleure nuit en Islande pour l’instant (5ème nuit) La vue sur le port Les accès aux sanitaires sont compliqués pour les barils avec des boîtes à clé pour chaque porte Les draps ne sont pas inclus et ce n’est pas précisé dans l’annonce
• Fabienne (5/5): - L'emplacement Le logement n'est pas isolé et malgré le radiateur il faisait froid, sans parler des douches et des wc qui sont sous clef a récupérer dans des boîtes à codes a chaque fois et ce dans le froid , tout cela pour un prix excessif
• Thomas (4/5): - Die Fässer waren im Prinzip okay. Für über 100 € pro Fass gab es noch nicht mal ein Handtuch oder eine richtige Decke. Ich habe im Schlafsack geschlafen. Meine Fassnachbarn haben pro Person 15 € für eine Decke bezahlt. Meine Ankunft war ca. 16:30 Uhr. Da war das Hotel, wo man den Schlüssel holen musste, geschlossen. Einheimische haben mir geholfen den Chef zu kontaktieren, damit ich den Schlüssel bekommen habe. Die Duschkabinen bzw. die WC's waren nur über einen Schlüssel in einem Schlüsselsafe zu öffnen. Einer der beiden hat geklemmt und man musste lange rumfummeln um ihn zu öffnen. In den WCs gab es keinen Handtrockner.

• Antonio (10/5): DORMIR EN UN BARRIL - Me encantó la experiencia de dormir en un barril de madera. Engañan porque parecen pequeños, pero por dentro son bastante amplios y muy acogedores. Nosotros éramos tres y teníamos dos estancias separadas dentro del barril; una zona con mesa y sillas con un calentador de agua si te apetece prepararte un café en la habitación... un pequeño radiador y una cama, y en la otra estancia teníamos otro radiador y las otras dos camas. Los baños están justo enfrente, y teníamos duchas incluidas en el precio de los barriles. La cocina estaba bien equipada, con todo lo necesario. Nosotros llevábamos la comida comprada preparada, pero había gente cocinando como en casa. El entorno es un plus, en una pequeño pueblo marinero, con su encantador pequeño puerto en un fiordo del Este, pero de todas formas, en Islandia es difícil estar en un entorno que no sea maravilloso, porque el país es espectacular en su totalidad. • Tanja (7/5): Hab nicht viel Zeit dort verbracht . Buchen würde ich es trotzdem nochmal - Es war sehr spontan gebucht. Check in 21-22 Uhr . Den Schlüssel fand ich dann in einem Schlüssel Kasten Schloss . Hatte den Camping platzt gebucht . Hab aber ein Hotelzimmer bekommen .

• Melanie (6/5): - Der Vermieter hat uns, da es sehr sehr kalt war, ein Zimmer im Hotel angeboten, aber wir waren ja extra für das Fass hier angereist. Es war wirklich sehr kalt. Die WCs waren sehr sauber. Der Heizstrahler ist im Oktober nicht ausreichend, aber wie gesagt, wir hätten ein Zimmer haben können. Innen am Holz sind lauter Feuchtigkeitsflecken. Das Holz ist trocken- also keine Gefahr für die Gesundheit, aber es ist wenig ansprechend so dort zu schlafen. Sicher müssten die Fässer anders abgedichtet werden- oder es sind Flecken von der Luft innen, weil zu wenig gelüftet wurde.

Die Gemeinschaftsküche und -bad waren im guten Zustand, die Küche war gut ausgestattet In der Küche gab es nur zwei Herdplatten, das war eindeutig zu wenig für die Anzahl der Gäste und so kam es zu Stau, das Schlüsselsystem für die Sanitäranlagen könnte in Zukunft vereinfacht werden

• Jayjay Koevermans (6/5): - De warme douche en het warme toilet. Het eten in het hotel was lekker. Het was in de pod echt enorm koud. We hadden de twee kacheltjes aangezet maar dat deed niks. Wij denken dat de koude wind, die precies op onze pod stond, een flink aandeel daarin gehad heeft. We hebben met kleding aangeslapen!

• Susanna (7/5): Carino, ma fa freddo - Insolita sistemazione, panorama incredibile, curate e molto pulite. Anche i bagni sono puliti e ben funzionanti. Non si paga a parte la doccia come scritto in descrizione. Dentro la botte faceva freddo nonostante i riscaldamenti che erano spenti prima del mio arrivo, li ho accesi io arrivando di sera, dalla porta entra qualche spiffero che non ha aiutato l'ambiente a scaldarsi velocemente.

• Pascal (10/5): il s’agit d’une hôtel ancien de 1906. C’est donc aussi un petit musée par la décoration, un lieu chargé d’histoire. - Tout, la gentillesse du personnel, le calme et la magnifique commune de Djúpivogur. Le prix un peu élevé mais c’est l’Islande 😉
• Naty KB (8/5): - La llave del Barril se retira en un hotel a unos pocos minutos. El personal alli fue muy amable e hizo todo lo posible por hablarnos en español para darnos todas las indicaciones. Lugar ideal para ver auroras por la oscuridad. En la descripción dice que hay que pagar un extra por las duchas y eso no es cierto. Cocina muy pequeña para un lugar con tanta gente. El sistema que tiene de codigos para obtener las llaves de los baños es poco practico.

• NOVICONSULT DI MARCHETTI LAURA (7/5): molto piacevole - mi sono piaciute le scritte sui muri delle sale comuni, l'idea originale dei barili, la posizione e il paesaggio marino incantevole troppo distanti i servizi dai "barili".
• Andrea (9/5): Super accoglienti! - Le botti sono bellissime, e offrono la possibilità di dormire fino a tre persone. Dentro è super accogliente e accendendo la stufetta non ho minimamente sofferto il freddo. Ben fornita anche la cucina comune dove è possibile cucinare. È possibile comunque mangiare all’hotel poco distante che gestisce le botti, ho fatto la colazione ed è super consigliata perché offre veramente un sacco di scelta! Forse il noleggio del piumone potevano risparmiarlo per quanto si parla di cifre basse(ma è un po’ lo spirito del camping) Il sistema di combinazione per accedere alle chiavi dei bagni è un po’ scomodo ma se si vuole il massimo comfort si va poi in hotel

• Alessandra (7/5): Wir empfehlen einen dicken Schlafsack oder Decken mitzubringen. - Die Lodging Barrels waren eine coole Unterkunft und sind verhältnismässig sehr geräumig. Wir hatten das Glück hier Nordlichter zu beobachten. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche mit allem was man zum kochen braucht. Die Anzahl Gäste kommt hier gut aneinander vorbei, ohne lange Wartezeiten. Das Personal war freundlich und die Duschen & Toiletten sauber. Es gab nur eine dünne Decke, weshalb wir mit Socken, langen Hosen und Jacken schlafen mussten und trotzdem noch kalt hatten. Die Barrels sind nicht sehr gut geheizt oder Isoliert.

• Romain (4/5): - Bon accueil au niveau de l'hôtel en contre bas , sanitaires et cuisine partagée très propre(attention pas de frigo). Le hatig bar en dessous est sympa mais manque de vie. Il y a une supérette et une piscine dans le village. Ce que nous déplorons c'est la qualité du logement, vieux draps, couvertures pas très propres. Et surtout un manque d'entretien ,pour une bâtisse en bois et au vue des conditions météo de la région, un entretien plus rigoureux doit être apporté. De l'eau s'est infiltrée par notre fenêtre , et l'intérieur était humide à plusieurs endroits. Ça ne vaut pas son prix , même si l'idée est originale.

Llegamos más tarde de los establecido para el check-in y nos dejaron las llaves y todo explicado por whatsapp. Tuvimos problemas con la habitación (terminamos durmiendo en el coche) y tras comunicarlo, nos devolvieron el dinero sin problemas. Todo. Cama y mantas con olor a humedad y sucias, el calefactor no funcionaba correctamente y no calentaba, paredes con moho y manchas de humedad.
• Curt-Sigmund (6/5): - Netter Ort. Lustige kleine Tonne. Frühstück im Hotel war gut, aber extra. Es war sehr kalt. Der Wind pfiff durch die Tür. Erst als wir kapiert haben, das wir ein zusatz Heizgebläse hatten, haben wir nicht mehr gefroren.
• Olena (10/5): - We had originally booked a cabin with an outdoor toilet and shower, but we were kindly upgraded free of charge and offered a warm room in the house due to the colder weather. The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was very clean and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was excellent. A wonderful place that left us with such lovely memories.

• Ana-Luna (8/5): Séjour très agréable - Bon séjour, les « barels » sont confortables et bien isolés. A noter que la cuisine est partagée avec l’espace camping, mais pas les sanitaires. Une lumière automatique autour des sanitaires’ ainsi qu’une raclette pour évacuer l’eau dans les douches seraient les bienvenus, mais au delà de ça, séjour très agréable.

• Marina Catherine (8/5): Spezielles Erlebnis, in einem Fass zu übernachten. - Unterkunft war tiptop sauber. Eine richtige Decke hat mir gefehlt. Die Küche war sehr schmutzig von anderen Gästen, die ihr Geschirr nicht richtig abgewaschen haben. Preislich eher hoch, für was es bietet.

Douches gratuites. Odeur tenace de cigarette dans le logement mais probablement dû à une mauvaise conduite des précédents clients. Nous n’avions pas de sac de couchage et avons dû louer le linge de lit. Le kit pour deux comprend deux duvets et deux linges facturés 4’300 ISK, un peu cher selon moi.

• Isabella (6/5): Coole Übernachtungslocation mit kleinen Mankos. - Die Barrels sind auf jeden Fall ein einzigartiges Übernachtungserlebnis. Sie schauen toll aus, bieten ein wenig Stauraum und die Sanitärbereiche sind in wenigen Schritten von jedem Barrel aus zu erreichen. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche auch in der Nähe, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Der Check-in und auch der Check-out im Hotel haben sehr schnell und reibungslos funktioniert. Die Bettwäsche war etwas schmuddelig und hatte Flecken - vor allem die Decken, die zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, das hat das Erlebnis ein wenig beeinträchtigt. Die WCs und Duschen sind leider sehr klein, haben keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, daher ist vor allem Duschen etwas unpraktisch und umständlich.

• graf (8/5): - Die Lage war super, kurzer Weg zum Hafen, ein schönes Örtchen. Es war sauber in dem Schlaffass. Waschmaschine und Trockner vor Ort (gegen Bezahlung). Die Küche war nur mit einer elektronischen Doppelherdplatte ausgestattet, bei vielen Nutzern einfach zu wenig. Ausstattung der Küche war OK. Für die Nutzung der Duschen und WC war es immer erforderlich zu einem Schlüsselsafe zu gehen - erst dann konnte Dusche oder WC benutzt werden. Etwas unpraktisch.

Carina l’idea delle botti in legno. zona tranquilla Sistema di riscaldamento insufficiente, abbiamo avuto freddo tutto il tempo (anche da vestiti prima di coricarci e al risveglio). Asciugamani e piumone sono a pagamento e nonostante questo quelli che ci hanno fornito erano sporchi (abbiamo segnalato la cosa e le spese ci sono state in parte - minimissima parte- rimborsate).

Le casette sono freddine, cosa quasi unica qui in Islanda dove tutte le strutture sono ben riscaldate. Non c'è il piumino sul letto ma una copertina ...insomma così così. Il bagno e cucina sono esterni ma col freddo isolano risultano scomodi da fruire. Insomma l'idea carina ma scomoda. Ok per una notte non oltre

• Elbie Bentley (10/5): - Our barrel was cozy and had a great view. All facilities were super clean and tidy. The only downside of this campsite was the crazy key situation. In order to separate the facilities from the main campground they have developed a complex lock box system; mostly people just left the bathroom door open so others could access it more conveniently.
• Cecilia Vaira (4/5): - Bella l'idea di dormire in una botte Dopo aver girato a vuoto per 20 minuti sotto la pioggia abbiamo scoperto che bisognava prima recarsi all'hotel framtid (in chat non era stato precisato, inoltre le indicazioni che ci avevano inviato portavano direttamente al campeggio) per avere le chiavi perché al campeggio non ci sarebbe stato nessuno dello staff a spiegarci dove avremmo trovato il bagno/cucina/a darci le chiavi o altro. La botte era piena di spifferi e la porta era durissima da aprire, inoltre nonostante il sole di mezzanotte c'era una tendina per nulla oscurante e quindi entrava tutta la luce... La cucina non la commento neanche, dico solo che c'erano tre straccetti sottili e pieni di buchi per asciugare posate e piatti dopo averli lavati a mano. Quando la mattina ce ne dovevamo andare l'hotel era ancora chiuso ma il giorno prima nessuno ci aveva informato che avremmo dovuto lasciare le chiavi nella cassetta delle lettere, quindi abbiamo perso tempo, finché qualcuno ci ha risposto al citofono. Direi buon rapporto qualità-prezzo ma solo perché in questa zona è difficile trovare molto altro...

• Ing (7/5): Ottimo soggiorno ma cucina troppo piccola e tenuta male - Botti molto carine e comode, composte da letti e salottino. La notte abbiamo provato un po’ di freddo nonostante le stufette. La zona comune, purtroppo, non è dimensionata per ospitare tutte le persone che la utilizzano. Per cucinare o lavare serve letteralmente fare la fila.

• Marta (6/5): Soggiorno nelle barrels – esperienza particolare ma con pro e contro - Le barrels all’interno del camping sono una sistemazione davvero particolare e suggestiva: piccole ma accoglienti, immerse in una zona tranquilla e isolata. I bagni esterni erano sempre puliti e riscaldati, anche se un po’ scomodi da raggiungere, soprattutto con il brutto tempo. La cucina comune è molto piccola: si riempie facilmente nelle ore di punta ed è poco attrezzata rispetto agli standard islandesi; anche la pulizia lasciava un po’ a desiderare. Le barrels stesse non erano impeccabili dal punto di vista della pulizia e non vengono forniti asciugamani (si possono noleggiare a pagamento).

• David (7/5): Habitación de madera con sabor a cámping - Los lavabos y ducha, al ser en módulos es muy privado. Bien calefactados. Limpios. Es una gran suerte que en recepción nos atendieran en castellano. Faltan tostadoras en la cocina. Acabamos tostabdo el pan en una sarten impregnada de beicon (le dio saborcillo a la tostada). No hay sábanas en las camas de los barriles, solo de abajo y una colcha.
• Martina (8/5): - Le botti sono davvero molto carine. Nel suo genere é sicuramente un posto caratteristico e ben organizzato. Le botti dispongono di una stufetta nel caso facesse freddo (una delle nostre purtroppo non funzionava bene) ed è possibile richiedere piumone + asciugamani alla reception. I bagni erano davvero molto puliti (anche se per raggiungerli bisogna camminare all’esterno). La cucina non era attrezzatissima, ma era pulita (anche questa all’esterno); per quello che serviva a noi andava bene. La cucina potrebbe avere qualche stoviglia in più e la struttura potrebbe garantire qualche bene essenziale in più (tipo zucchero, olio).
