- Martina (6/5): - pohodlné postele na pokojích jdou slyšet všechny zvuky z chodby (dveře nedosahují až na zem)
- manuela (7/5): - Struttura ampia, pulita, e l'area comune è molto bella e accogliente.

- Jasminka (8/5): - Nice hostel close to the beach. We arrived late and left early, but it seemed cozy enough to hang around. Super spacious kitchen, so even when crowded, no one was in each other's way. It had everything you might need - except breakfast bowls Bathroom and restroom together, so all the time occupied. Not enough toilette paper
- katrin (9/5): Gute Familienunterkunft in schöner Umgebung - Großes Zimmer mit Waschbecken.

- Elena (10/5): Struttura recente, ben tenuta e pulita. Cucina attrezzata e ampia area comune. Molto consigliato - La parte comune e la cucina molto attrezzata
- Saravanakumar (8/5): Good - Good location, big shared kitchen. Only few people were there. Bathroom is fine. If you arrive late it is hard to cook due to silent hours.
- Clare (4/5): Run down and disappointing stay in a vey idyllic location. - The town and location. Poorly kept, lots of stuff didn’t work, the sink in the room leaked, the bedside lamps were broken. The shower room/toilet was not nice at all. Wi-Fi was very poor.

- Tilo (8/5): -
- Paolo (3/5): We did not appreciate the property, especially the kitchen was spoiled and not well kept. There were not enough chairs t - Very little , location was nice Not so much
- Willi (7/5): hostel with birds view.. - location in the middle of nature is incredible you can watch rare birds right out of your window. nice hikes starting from the door. very comfortable beds. large shared area. not enough bathrooms. the kitchen equipment is partially old.
- Jaroslav (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shyam (10/5): Exceptional - Clean rooms. Well equipped kitchen. Nice and comfortable common areas. Only 2 toilets are there. There was big queue for using toilets and bath in the morning.
- Irina (6/5): Pleasant - + Good parking for the guests;
+ A lot of instructions for check-in with all the important information;
+ The hostel has its kitchen accessible for the guests, but the owners also informed about the possibility of having dinner and booking breakfast (it was delicious) in the partner hotel.
- Yevhenii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Petr (8/5): Very good - location poorly equipped kitchen, number of bathrooms
- Magda (9/5): Excellent facility and staff. - Centralized location, close to restaurants and basic amenities. Great wifi connectivity. Full kitchen and rooms with privacy. Fuse ball was missing, and we were disappointed as we really wanted to play.
- Zbigniew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernice (9/5): Nice stopover - Spacious common area, clean toilets. When we were there, there were only 2 other rooms occupied so we basically had the place to ourselves. Doors were a little tough to open, we struggled with it for awhile with no staff to ask help from. If place is fully booked, toilets to room ratio is not good. Room for five was quite a squeeze as well
- Susanne (6/5): Staff need to be onsite to manage large groups - Bright pleasant common area and big kitchen, room was typical but fine Large very noisy group arrived at 10pm, started cooking dinner at 11pm and were very very disruptive. Bathrooms were quickly extremely dirty, this was our worst night in Iceland. We called the main lodge to alert them but there is no staff on site to monitor this kind of disruption- ruined the night
- Komarkova (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikola (8/5): Very good -
- Ondřej (9/5): Very nice - Everything is brand new (even accessories), big and comfy. not enough bathrooms for the amount of rooms
- Lynn (8/5): Very good - Really nice kitchen Bathroom weren’t really clean
- Nathaniel (10/5): Amazing hostel goes above and beyond - 6 star kitchen with four (4!) sinks and a full size and mini fridge. Huge open common area with plenty of room to eat at tables or hang out on the different coach areas. Beautiful location in a beautiful town. Well worth the stop on the ring road! We had the room connected to the common room which was a little noisy in the morning but that’s hard to control! Really great space!
- Anja (9/5): Nice clean hostel - For a hostel it is very clean. Kitchen has everything you need, even a dishwasher. Common area also very nice. Bathrooms have to be shared, but in the right wing you have 3 of them. As there is a sink in each room this is quite comfy. We did have to queue. Only stayed there for a day. Price is unbeatable in this area. Every hostel is as good as its guests. Unfortunately, we had two very noisy families who arrived after 10 pm and started cooking, even though it is stated everywhere that this is not allowed. On top they caused a fire alarm with their cooking. Not to mention that they showered at midnight and flooded the bathroom. It is a pity. But I now understand why in former days the showers and kitchens were closed by key. This is not the fault of the hostel, but perhaps they could prevent such behavior by stricter rules.
- Kaushik (10/5): Exceptional - good games and the kitchen was nice, big and clean. Overall, good place to stay. i wish we could watch and play after hours as well.
- James (10/5): - Clean with lots of space in rooms and common areas. Kitchen had multiple stoves, ovens, sinks, ketles, etc. for all. Sitting area was jice and had a foosball table, which was nice. Oveall great place for our family.
- Lukáš (9/5): Great for larger groups. Checks all the boxes. - This just checks all the boxes.
Reasonably clean, nice spacious common area and kitchen. Place to dry shoes and clothes. Not much to dislike.
- rajeev (10/5): - Would stay again if we come back to iceland. Big kitchen, Big lounge area, large rooms. Comfertable big beds and a nice small town feeling
- Gwen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Plisu (7/5): Good - Huge common rest area and well equipped kitchen. Small rooms.
- Antonio (9/5): Superb -
- Snæbjörn (9/5): Superb -
- Joy (8/5): Cute town, good location to break up our drive. Hostel style - shared restrooms. - Use of kitchen space with cooking supplies and utensils. Breakfast was available for purchase at the nearby "mother hotel". It was about $20 US and a bit too sparing for the price but there are not a lot of options around if you weren't prepared with your own food. Petrol station closed by the time we arrived so we could not buy local groceries.
- Chun (9/5): Superb - The place is quiet and wonderful. Strongly recommend it to everyone.
- Jacob (10/5): - Had the place to ourselves. Lots of space and had everything we needed.
- Lindi (10/5): - We had the family space upstairs. Great view and close to the walking trail around the town!
- Way (10/5): Exceptional -
- Praveen (8/5): Value for money with lively atmosphere and well equipped kitchen - The property had a hostel atmosphere (i.e., lively). It is located a short drive from Ring Road and conveniently accessible. It felt like it was a popular place. Rooms were very basic, as expected in a hostel setting. You have to collect keys from a different location as given in the instructions. The front desk was open very late. The hotel is located in a town. It has a well-equipped common kitchen which was heavily used when we were there. The bathrooms were not clean and didn't provide soap/shampoo. When someone takes a shower, the water overflows and wets most of the bathroom. The quiet hours are not maintained. There were people (including us) cooking until 11 p.m.
- Dario (7/5): Good - The location is strategic, in a area where it is not so easy to find cheap accomodation during the high season. The common area is large. There are not too many toilets for the total guests. The kitchen misses a bit of pots to cook everything. Rooms for 4 people are too small, the rest is fine.
- Tanya (6/5): Pleasant - Basic accommodation along the ring road with a large kitchen Could use another bathroom, or have separate toilet from bathroom. The lineup for toilets gets long when the 3 are being used for showering.
- Sigitas (9/5): Great stay while driving to the east - Keys are collected at the hotel just around the corner from the hostel till quite late hour. Common spaces are really tried to keep clean, that can be seen. Fully equipped kitchen. Location is a very nice city. Room is quite tiny coming with all lugagges.
- Kaymen (6/5): - shared bathrooms doesn’t provide shower gel and shampoo
- Billy (6/5): ok -
- Valentina (7/5): Good - Location and the living room and the kitchen were spacious and well equipped. The room was a bit small considering there were 6 beds, and there wasn’t any table or chair to put our stuff on it, so we had to keep our things on the windowsill.
- Katharine (8/5): The Hostel met expectations. Clean and tidy. The Hotel food was great. - We ate breakfast at the Hotel (part of the property), and it was very good. We also ate two dinners there, and both were excellent. Reservations needed for dinner. Nearby toilets/showers were convenient in the Hostel. A sink in the room was a plus. A "birding" hike nearby (coastal, near the airstrip) was excellent. The ease of getting to the top bunk was awkward. (I am not a child!)
- Rita (7/5): Good -
- Tünde (9/5): Superb - Well equipped, clean kitchen. Showers and toilettes could be separate, because there are only 3 of them, which is not enough by full house.
- Dragan (10/5): Everything was fine. - Living room, big clean usable kitchen. Prince Valiant comic books 🙂
- Cristian (8/5): Very good -
- Razvan (5/5): Passable - Nice location and you also have the option to get breakfast at the hotel that handles this hostel, which is a plus considering you don’t have many options nearby. Some rooms were smelling of cigar smoke from previous quests I assume and also some of the bathrooms were smelling quite bad. Some cleaning was definitely needed.
- Andrasek (6/5): Pleasant - We had a 6 bed family room but there was literally nothing else in the room, not even a chair, table - we couldn’t putn down anthing and hardly any stuff could fit in the room. So do not choose room 35! As far as I could see, the other rooms were better designed though.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luuk (6/5): Pleasant - All good and nice big living room. Rooms bit small, with bunk beds, and bit noisy as we were next to bathroom. All rest ok though.
- Joanna (1/5): do not recommed - only 3 toilets for the whole floor (approx 30 people), we got very small room for 3 people, poor bedding quality
- Carolina (9/5): Superb - the kitchen is huge
the room really comfortable
- Atit (1/5): Would never recommend to anyone. - Nothing Very dated. Very uncomfortable. Very pricey.
- Pedro (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (7/5): Met Our Needs for A Quick Overnight, Not A Long Stay - Cost was great for an overnight, and the beds were very comfortable (except the pillows). The showers were hot and the common space was VERY open/comfortable. Plenty of kitchen furnishings. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were terrible. The showers were clean, but offered little water pressure and slippery floors.
- Agnieszka (9/5): Superb -
- Surve (8/5): Recommended! - Well equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms.. Nice big common area with many indoor activities.. Rooms are well sized with bunk beds..
- Agata (8/5): Very good - Good location, The Big kitchen and weel equipped, the large dinning room, good wi-fi,good contact with staff There cold be more toilets
- Guoda (8/5): Very good -
- Irena (8/5): Quiet hostel with big kitchen and huge common room. - Spacious common room, possibility to order food in a nearby hotel. Lack of toilets for the number of rooms.
- Jasmina (8/5): Very good -
- Katarzyna (9/5): Superb - Room was clean, kitchen very well equipped, quiet, nice - great for one night stay during the travel around Iceland
- Tryggvi (7/5): Good -
- Massimo (9/5): nice place to stay - nice place in a nice small city. hostel is not hotel of course but it was clean and comfortable.
i also use the hotel resturant for a really good dinner.
- Joyce (6/5): Pleasant - Bedding is not very clean; check-in/out needs to go to another hotel complete, which is not convenient
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, clean shared bathrooms Thin walls, quite small room for a family
- Małgorzata (7/5): Good - Very good location, Comfortable shared area of kitchen, dining and leaving room. Very spacious. Very basic rooms and bathrooms. Enough for one night on the way.
- Rannveig (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (5/5): Passable - Good location, well equipped kitchen. Rooms were kind of nice. There were so many people at the time and only 3 bathrooms, so we had to wait almost 2 hours to get to the bathroom. Toilet seat was broken in our room. Wifi was non-existent, nowhere in Iceland we had the internet this bad.
- Colleen (10/5): Perfect spot to rest up for the night and have a hearty breakfast before heading out. - The beds were so ridiculously comfortable! I like legit want to know the brand. We arrived a wee bit later than we had expected and The staff were so kind and accommodating too. We were also happy with the breakfast options!
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eman (7/5): its good value for money and not bad to stay for couple of nights, enjoyed the outside vew very much - even though it is a hostler, it was very clean and organized, staff was super friendly as well as the guests it had too many flies inside which was annoying
- Zulezmaj (7/5): Good -
- W (8/5): Very good - Basic, clean, for someone who only needs a place to sleep and cook a meal, totally fine. The Cafe around the corner serves good food and has a kid's corner to play in!
- Gabriele (10/5): Exceptional - Nice Building and cozy living room
- Adam (9/5): Superb - Everything was fine, I was especially pleased as after few days sleeping in a tent nice kitchen area and hot shower were exactly what I needed
- Tom (7/5): Good - The place was nice, and the beds were comfy. The check-in took really long because of a long queue, and the Wi-Fi was not working at all.
- Catherine (7/5): Very comfy beds, excellent service and easy to get in and out. - The beds were very clean and very comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. There were adults and children there. Safe location with great parking options. I would suggest maybe putting some air fresheners inside the kitchen or center of building to control the smell of cooked food lingering.
- Shaoying (8/5): Very good -
- Vala (9/5): Superb -
- Tomas (8/5): Very good - Big public room, many shared places. Clean and good atmosphere. EDIT, problem solved: Owner contact me, refund me money for throw away food and protect this problem for future -----
We stayed 2 nights, we put food foods about 2500 ISK to fridge, but second day, when we come back, everything was thrown away, fridge was empty. It was not good because we was hungry. In kitchen wasn't any warning to label with name and checkout date like in another hostel. So please staff: inform people how to protect food in fridge to not happen it again. Thank you.
