Verified traveler (2/5): - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! I have booked a night for my mother that was traveling from another country and had meetings no far from that area, and I have received a confirmation of the room being booked with no reconfirmation needed! (Even if you wanted to confirm, no one will pick up the phone! My mother called, I called and Expedia staff called!). Upon her arrival she was advised that room was not available for her as it was double booked and was told to go to some other address which is 60(!!) blocks away. Hotel staff did not even bother to call that other place to see if there is an accommodation available there for her or apologize for the inconvenience or offered to get her a transportation there or even call Expedia to figure out what happened! They literally threw her out! Then later they called her that the room was not available because it was flooded! Then they called her and told her that room was not paid for, which the money was taken out the day I booked the room and hotel now refuses to refund as it was non refundable room that was never used by my mother! SO... what was the true reason for room unavailability: flood, payment or double booking or maybe the reason is that this hotel is being operated by bunch of unprofessional people that rip people off! I am shocked that there are so many positive reviews about this place, as most likely someone is being paid to post them!
