- MiSook (6/5): Tegenvaller met kids helaas. - Wij hadden 2 family bungalows omdat we 3 kinderen hebben. De huisjes staan ver uit elkaar, wat lekker is als je privacy wilt maar minder als je verdeeld bent als gezin. 1 kind sliep op de bank, wat word gezien als een extra bed. Door de hoge scores had ik meer verwacht van dit hotel. Wel hele lekkere bedden! Helaas zaten de lakens wel onder het zand. Geen kids club, maar een klein kamertje waar wat speelgoed staat. Geen activitieiten. Personeel spreekt slecht engels. Het eten was echt niet lekker. Toen we in de middag aankwamen, hadden we trek. De pizza had een slappe bodem, de nasi weinig smaak. Voor deze prijzen verwacht je toch meer kwaliteit! Het ontbij viel helaas ook heel erg tegen. Veel chinezen in het hotel waar ze het ontbijt ook op aanpassen.

The location was directly on the Pattaya Beach, the pool was really nice and the food menu had a lot of options for all tastes. We booked a villa and it was very beautiful and quiet. Highly suggest it!!! Mosquitoes and lizards around, not the fault of the resort tho!

- Cristina (6/5): Highly overrated hotel with disappointing value for the price. - The hotel has a nice overall look and potential, and the pool area is pleasant. The room did not meet expectations: the extra bed for our child was just placed on the floor, the bathroom had a persistent leak that was never fixed (causing humidity and bad smell), and we also had a leaking fridge. Breakfast was inconsistent, with better fruits not being replenished. The beach in front of the hotel is not enjoyable due to the number of boats and its proximity to ferry traffic. The restaurant is also overpriced for what it offers. Proper maintenance of rooms (especially bathrooms), better quality standards for extra beds, more consistent breakfast service, and improved value for money overall.

- Alison (5/5): Average at best - Breakfast had a good selection and room size was generous. Location is great. Lipe is one of our favourite islands in SE Asia! The staff lacked the friendliness of most places we've travelled to in Thailand (and we've been travelling throughout SE Asia for years having first backpacked through Thailand 20 years ago). We also had a very tumultuous booking process with Booking.com and the hotel who were unable to provide us with the room we had booked and expected us to simply accept that this was the case with nothing but an apology. After much backwards and forwards we were somewhat compensated with a reduced room rate (which was actually just the direct room rate). Food from the beachfront restaurant was our least favourite meal in Lipe. The wifi was unreliable and slow. The pool we had access to from our room had broken tiles which cut our son's foot. There was a lot of noise from the rooms above us which kept you awake at night as people moved around.

- Megan Rose (9/5): - The location is amazing! The staff met us at the boat dock and drove us to the hotel which was super handy. They also organised getting us back. The rooms were clean and tidy and super comfortable. The whole resort was really peaceful, I highly recommend. The breakfast was pretty poor. A lot of the pastries were stale and not a lot of choice. Other than that it is a perfect resort.

- jack (9/5): Nice hotel with great staff - Great location On the speedboat trip to Koh Lipe we had to pay a toll to get on the speedboat which then stopped at two islands on the way to Koh Lipe. After 12 hours since we left our house all we wanted to do was get to Koh Lipe, shower. eat and relax. We were not informed of these compulsory excursions, we did not get off at either island stop which lasted 30-40 minutes each. We reckon we lost about 2 hours off our hotel stay. A dreadful start to the holiday which thankfully improved when we got to Koh Lipe.

- Eduardo (7/5): Estadia agradável, mas nem o hotel nem a ilha são o "paraíso" que muitos viajantes anunciam. - O quarto e a casa de banho eram muito espaçosos, mas tratava-se de um Superior Pool Access Double Room. O pequeno almoço era razoável. O espaço ajardinado é muito acolhedor e as piscinas são muito boas. As instalações não são luxuosas e revelam alguma antiguidade, embora estejam em bom estado. Nos jardins por vezes cheira a esgoto, um claro exemplo de como o turismo na ilha é excessivo em relação à sua dimensão e à falta de estruturas básicas. A comida no restaurante não entusiasmou. A localização é discutível, pois embora esteja perto da Walking Street e da zona de embarque e desembarque (speedboats), a praia é caótica e pouco apelativa, sendo necessário caminhar 1 km para chegar à muito mais interessante praia a nascente (Sunrise beach).

- Özkan (9/5): Sehr schöne Anlage mit toller Lage und allem was das Herz begehrt - Das Hotel liegt direkt am Pataya Beach, wo die Gäste ankommen. Dadurch hat man einen kurzen weg. Das Meer ist sehr nah. Die Zimmer mit direktem Poolzugang sind der Hammer. Happy Hour ist auch sehr schön, wenn man Cocktails mag. Wir haben zweimal zu Abend gegessen und beide male haben wir bei drei Personen unser Essen nacheinander bekommen. Mit einigem Zeitabstand.

The advertisement of sofa bed as part of villa was misleading as this turned out to be an additional cost. Which was strange because when choosing 4 persons in search, it gave me the villa option so if sofa bed was not included then is the expectations for 4 persons to sleep in one bed?! We paid additional £141 (6000 baht) for an extra bed (more comfy than sofa bed!). I would urge more clearer explanation around sofa bed use comes with additional cost as this almost made us cancel the booking for a different accommodation. Glad we did not though

- BALDUINO DA SILVA (10/5): KHO LIPE - maravilhoso - Excelente café da amanhã, opções variadas no cardápio do restaurante, opções de frutos do mar grelhado à noite, ótima piscina, quartos excelentes e localização maravilhosa para quem quer ficar próximo da walking street. Ponto alto: todos os funcionários são educadíssimos e atencioso. Por vezes a falta do inglês gera muito ruído de pedidos, mas nada que um sorriso não resolva.

- John (10/5): One of the best resort in Asia IMHO! a hidden GEM! - From the moment the driver greet us at the ferry terminal, we were in good hands. He handled all our luggages and got us smoothly to the resort. The welcome drinks and the reception staffs are super friendly and always willing to help. My daughter loved the pool and the beach just in front was clean and "fenced off" against long boat traffic so that it's very safe to swim in. In fact, we saw coral just 5 minute swim from the beach. The room is great, the breakfast is amazing, and we are just a short walk from the walking street. The sunset and dinner vibe is amazing too! We particularly loved the live band and the fire show at night! The gym and kids club are a bit weak but that's if I am to be picky. We stayed about 4 days, so in reality my daughter were well entertained with the beach and the pool.

- Laetitia (10/5): Magnifique hôtel avec un emplacement idéal ! - L’hôtel est vraiment magnifique et idéalement situé sur Pattaya Beach. A 2 pas de la Walking Street avec tous les commerces et restaurants, et l’accès à la Sunrise Beach est à moins de 10 minutes à pieds.. La suite villa est spacieuse et très confortable. La piscine en bord de plage est très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur la plage. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent et très copieux. Et le personnel de l’hôtel est très gentil et serviable. Rien. C’était parfait!

- Annkatrin (8/5): Sehr gepflegte und schöne Hotelanlage, freundlicher Service! - Die Modernität und der Komfort der Zimmer, die vielen Pools sowie die Happy Hour an jeden Tag über vier Stunden hinweg. Leider war für den Shuttle zum Hafen eine festgelegte, unnötig frühe Zeit vorgesehen. Man kann auch abends frischen Fisch an der Theke auswählen und sofort grillieren lassen. Abends zum spazieren, am Strand entlang in 5min an de Walking Street Verschiedene Feuershows am Strand entlang Wie immer und überall sind die Liegestühle am Pool besetzt. Für uns egal wir wollten im Meer baden. Pattaya Beach hat sehr viele Boote, dadurch ist das Meer nicht so schön zum baden. In 10min laufen über den Hügel hat es im Norden der Insel einen Traumstrand ,es lohnt sich dort zu baden

- Michał (10/5): Wspaniały Pobyt - Świetny obiekt , jeden z najlepszych na wyspie z genialną lokalizacją , spędziliśmy tam 9 dni , odpoczywając i korzystając z wycieczek po okolicznych wyspach . Świetne baseny , szczególnie główny basen z widokiem na Pattaya Beach , bardzo dobre śniadania , miła obsługa , myślę że jeszcze kiedyś wrócimy do tego hotelu . Drzwi balkonowe czasem się zacinały.
- James (10/5): Excellent stay at Akira Lipe - A wonderful stay in a perfect location near the arrival jetty and just steps from the beach. The food was consistently delicious with great variety, the rooms were modern, spotless, and spacious, and the staff’s hospitality truly made our experience special. Only negative would be the reservation of sun beds around the pool and facing the sea. I’m an early riser and I was going for breakfast for 7am and already most of the sun beds had towels placed on them with some not being occupied until gone 10am. I feel the hotel need to monitor this better to allow others to use the beds that have towels on but are not occupied for hours.

- Anna (9/5): If going to Koh Lipe again - I really want to stay at this accomandation - I like that the pool was near the beach - but also the calmer pool by the room. The drinks was really good and the kids really enyojed everything. I don't think there was anything

The only thing was we booked a room with access to pool, but this building was closed cause they were on maintenance. They gave us an upgrade for an amazing room, but we definitely would rather the room we booked, but we understand and our days in the resort was amazing! Would definitely be back!
