- Tracie (10/5): Skegvagas night out - The location was brilliant with being a stones throw from the Main Street along the beach. Clean comfortable rooms.

- Emma (8/5): No complaints - Great location, just a solo trip for a couple of nights to visit family and do a bit of running at the coast. The room was clean didn’t really spend much time in it to be honest just to sleep, first night had a great nights sleep 2nd time next door kept me awake talking but I’m a light sleeper and these things are expected.
- arthur (10/5): - Clean easy access to to town centre and very friendly hosts made you feel at home
- Gary (8/5): - Basic, generally unmanned, but nice rooms
- Glenda (8/5): - Not enough electric sockets. Could do with an extension. People have a lot of rechargeable items including hearing aides & phone. The ESB port in the lamps arnt very satisfactory. The place could do with a revamp. Window blinds are worn, long mirror needs to be fastened to a wall. Needs decorating. Central location, can be noisy late into the night from people coming from the pubs. 2/3am .
- Terence (10/5): The best in skeggy read more - Mayvene hotel I would definitely recommend to anyone. Angie & Scott would go above an beyond to help out

- Nathan (10/5): Great location and value for money - Ideally located right next to the main area of Skegness for easy access to the beach, rides, bars and arcades. Overall nice and clean place with easy access via the key box. Room is basic but comfortable, shower was terrible, but that's the only thing that let it down really. For the price paid I would definitely stay again.

- Joe (2/5): - Wouldn’t stay here again . No hot water so unable to shower for the two days we stayed . Bed sheet wasn’t clean when we arrived . Didn’t see any staff for the whole stay, you had to collect room key from box on outside wall . Room wasn’t cleaned even though we didn’t put the do not disturb sign on door . Room was tiny . Could hear people in next room sneezing and their every movement because walls are so thin .
- Gillian (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely clean room. En suite a little small but we managed . Kettle and tea/coffee/milk supplied and replenished next day. So close to everything. Would definitely recommend x

Was no free parking apart from a few spaces at the front of the property. Room was ok.
- Dean (10/5): - Was quiet and the floors didnt creak every time you moved,it was warm.owner was helpfull in saying where to park and not too.
- Antoinette (10/5): - Easy and quick check in. Room was lovely, we had a balcony which over looked the golf course. A very comfortable nights stay
- Beverly (4/5): - Room too small could hear everything from room next door
- John (10/5): - The staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was spot on. When I first entered the room my first impression was it was small but as l unpacked there was plenty of room as the layout was very well thought out and cleverly designed. In all I had a brilliant stay and will definitely returning.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok, but at £78 for night, in a small old double bed room, in unattended old boarding house ( not hotel)made into 10 small apartments, over priced. Access to keys with texted pass code (outside key security box) proved difficult to open . The corridor and stairs smelt fusty, old structure, not of good appearance, but clean . The room including toilet and shower although well dated, were very clean, bed and bed linen and pillows, towels excellent. Bed very comfortable.
Very small television but we could not use due to no remote control..
Our last minute booking of room served its purpose of a bed for the night.
The 9.2 reviews are well overstated on our experence and glad it was only a one night stay.
- Robert (6/5): - Not sure why it has such good reviews, dated property, loads of noise, both from other rooms and outside.
Good location, ok for a one night stay
- Jane (10/5): - Very friendly, loved the room
- P (10/5): - Great location. Comfy beds and easy check in
- P (10/5): Skeggy scooter rally - Great location. Comfy beds plenty of space, easy hassle free check in, good communication.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, bathroom in family room very small, we can hear other guests in another room.
- Lee (8/5): - Great price, nice size room, couldn't get a better location.
- Amanda (8/5): - Good
- Davina (10/5): Definitely recommend! - Honestly very good value for money. Very clean and in a perfect location. I will be returning. Spacious rooms (bonus). Can not recommend this hotel enough!
- Shaun (10/5): - I think this experience was underated....description said kettle..so we took all of our own beverages...we neednt have..there was plenty and revived every morning...also a mini fridge..plenty of items downstairs to borrow for your stay...drinks fridge toys hairdryers etc...met the host and she was lovely...enjoyed our stay
- Samantha (4/5): Dissapointing - We stayed over night . The room was clean but as a family room not really equipped for a child . Could not watch the tv no nothing
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok for a short stay. A few cobwebs but value for money
- Momen (10/5): Very recommended - Good and clean property with good size room. Near the beach just 2 3 minutes walk. And very decent price compare to the other hotels around. Very recommended.
- Samantha (10/5): - Absolutely fabulous landlady and in a prime spot.
- Caroline (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely clean room with en suite situated close to the seafront. Plenty of tea coffee milk left for the kettle in the room.Free WiFi made it much easier aswell.Lovely helpful lady and a very good price. Thankyou so much.
- Geoffrey (6/5): - Dated property. No contact with anyone as a lock box used. Room dated and shower needs upgrade. Great location and property is a fair price. Would stay elsewhere as I prefer more comfort and breakfast
- Alan (10/5): - Very convenient for shopping, facilities and amenities. Only issue is parking.
- Kevin (10/5): - Very good
- Miss M (8/5): Great for an overnight stay - Very basic but great for an overnight stay. Shower was not great but may have something to do with being on the top floor
A few cobwebs in the room high up, but overall good.
- Sandra (10/5): Little Gem - We received a text message telling us how to retrieve our door and room key which was really easy to follow. Room was clean and bed really comfortable. Only had one problem on one of the morning the shower would not get hot but was ok in the evening. Location is fantastic as arcades, pubs, shops and funfair are literally yards away. My partner and I are already planning to return.
- kevin (10/5): - brilliant !!! perfect for us !! comfortable bed !! lovely shower!! Nice and chilled out !!
- David (8/5): - Hardly any water pressure in the shower in our top floor room. Very close to the beach and other activities though. Overall a pleasant stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location was absolutely perfect, just 1 min from main pier and attractions. Angie was so friendly and we were made to feel at home. Our room was so clean & comfortable, it had a mini fridge and plenty of storage space. Although our room was equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, we were able to use the downstairs facilities in the cosy living room i.e toaster, fridge with milk etc, mugs, plates. There was more than enough toiletries, that were always topped up first thing in the morning, we didn't need to ask for anything. The beds were so comfy, and the tv had netflix so kids were happy! I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this to all my friends and family.
- Catherine (10/5): Would recommend - Great place to stay. Comfy..great facilities. Really friendly. Would definitely stay again.

- Natasha (10/5): Nice little guest house - Really nice guest house, good communication on how to obtain keys prior to check in. Amazing location less then a 5 minute walk to the main street and really quiet at night also.
Good facilities in the room and also drink making facilities in the living room aswell.
- JoHaywood (4/5): - It was on a busy road very near to two pubs. We was kept awake till early hours from people leaving.
Bed was not comfy.
We was woke up at 4.30 with the men collecting all the empty class bottles.
During our two night stay we did not see the owners once, but we did get milk etc left outside our door.
I only noticed it was room only after I booked so was very disappointed that we had to go out each morning looking for somewhere to eat.
Think it was expensive for room only.
We will not be retuning back.
