The front desk staff gave great recommendations and offered an umbrella for a rainy day. Offering Cava and water in the afternoon after a day in the city was a very nice and welcome touch ☺️. We enjoyed the roof top bar and the waiter was very kind. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a large shower. Our only concern was noise from the climate control in room 404. A technician did adjust the vibration and it was quieter but still noticeable. We adapted to the noise. Christmas season in Barcelona is magical.

The hotel was on the smaller size and the restaurant after breakfast was only open on the roof top which was a bit cold during nights or cloudy weather. We had booked a normal size room (cheapest one), overall it was ok. The bathroom was good, nice touch with rituals shower and soap and free kits. The bedroom was ok, not the finest looking, but okay. Bed was fine as well. The staff was kind especially at breakfast. The food at breakfast was ok, nothing Fancy. Creps ane waffles were a bit "hard" but the pancakes were good! I would say overall the hotel was good, but I was expecting a bit more on the personal side as I had requested a lovely note or a lovely touch when we arrived, but was not there. So only 4 Stars. If I was to book a hotel again expecting a bit better food, service and factilies overall , I would consider another H10, Called Barcelona The One, its 5 star.

Unfortunately I cannot rate my visit as a 5 star because twice housekeeping enter my room for no apparent reason. One time I was actually in the shower. This made me quite uncomfortable.

It is super close to the Barcelona Cathedral and Las Ramblas is not very far away either. The desk staff is very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were a very nice size, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop bar/grill and enjoyed our meals there. The breakfasts were outstanding. There was a buffet as well as cooked to order items. The food was all well prepared and delicious. The wait staff was efficient and very pleasant. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Barcelona!

- C9739UVmariec (10/5): Beautiful hotel and perfect location. - I chose the H10 Madison after researching hotel reviews and the area. The location was perfect, we could see Barcelona cathedral from our hotel room window. We were greeted on arrival with a glass of cava. The room was spacious and clean with a coffee pod machine, fridge (chargeable if stock used), dressing robes, slippers and a rainforest shower. The bed was king size and we had the best sleep. Breakfast was included and we had a fabulous choice of options. You can choose cooked from a menu and it’s made to order. The omelettes and pancakes were delicious. There was a selection of fruit juices, fruit, pastries, yoghurts, breads, meats and cheeses. The rooftop bar was perfect after a busy day sightseeing and exploring the Christmas markets, cocktails with a view was perfect. The hotel is in walking distance to many of the sights and easy reach to bus stops for further attractions. Buses only accept cash if you don’t have a pre bought bus ticket. There is a direct bus from Barcelona Airport, A1, direct into centre and then a 7 minute walk to hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel.
- Traveler66587233097 (8/5): Overall good but... - We are currently staying at the hotel. Room is nice and the location great. Breakfast was also very good. However, no cava was offered upon arrival nor is it available in the lobby, as other reviews state. We were really looked forward having a class of cava in the lobby before heading out to dinner in the evening and this was one of the nice small perks that made us choose the hotel over some others. So that is why it was disappointing to notice that this was not the case. Rooftop bar was nice and great view, though a bit too chilly in the evening already to spend time there

- juliann793 (10/5): Perfect again - Great hotel right in the centre of the Gothic district. We booked as we had stayed here before. The rooms are spotless and large with a beautiful double shower. We are in 702 which is very quiet and has a small balcony. All the staff are friendly and attentive, the breakfast is just ideal with great fresh coffee and plenty to choose from the menu. We recommend the roof top bar which is comfortable and has great staff. H10 hotels are excellent and we will definitely come back.

- Travel42474423633 (10/5): Great location and service - Really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the gothic quarter and beyond. The staff are very helpful and friendly here, nothing is too much trouble. I also loved the free cava they had available in reception. The roof top bar and pool, together with the view capped it off but it was unfortunately a little cold for us to use. If I had one criticism it would be that the room and bathroom were a little on the small side, but this didn’t detract from the overall quality of this hotel.
- 102493 (10/5): H10 Madison - Excellent visit - This fabulous hotel is centrally located in Barcelona. Near the Gothic center and La Ramla. We had the pleasure to stay for 3 nights. included a cooked to order breakfast along with a scrumptious buffet. The hotel also offers courtesy champagne, still and sparkling water and candies in the lobby throughout. Feliz and Albert at the front desk were very help and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The entire staff was very helpful, pleasant and accommodating! There is a rooftop bar that has fantastic views of the city too!I would definitely stay here again!

- 1967Tam (8/5): Our Stay - We came for my partners 60th Birthday and booked a suite. Suite was lovely, spacious and very clean. View was not nice looking out on apartment block. Location was brilliant right in the Gothic Quarter. All the staff were really friendly. The big downside for us was that we were not informed until Saturday evening of a big women's race the following day and to advise it would have travel implications. Reception looked up the bus we needed and advised that there was a revised schedule due to this but the bus company didn't say what times they would run. I feel that the hotel should of informed us of the race when we checked in on Friday as we would of changed our entire itinerary and visited the places no transport was needed. It ruined our day really as it took over 3 hours of precious time to reach our destination.

The rooftop restaurant and pool were the icing on the cake. The staff on the rooftop were terrific!

The location was very convenient to walk to a lot of places, especially the gothic quarter. The hotel was clean, had a wonderful rooftop area where you could order lunch or dinner, or just hang out and overlook the city, including the Barcelona Cathedral very close. Our room was huge, interior so it was very quiet - the bathroom was large and beautiful. All of the hotel staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet was incredible - such a big European spread every morning, and you could order any specialty coffees as well. I can't say enough good about this hotel. We absolutely loved it and if we ever go back to Barcelona, we definitely will stay there again.

I was in Barcelona for an event and it was so nice to be welcomed every morning at breakfast and every evening when I got back by the very friendly and hospitable team. The room was very well kitted out with everything I needed - washcloths, several towels, spare toothbrush! The bar on the roof was particularly nice and the cocktails were excellent. Honest I can't wait to go back. Definitely a home from home!

The hotel is clean and tidy, the room was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was very good, great choice and nicely presented. We had no issue with noise and slept well.

The food and service on the roof Terrace were outstanding. And the location was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only tip I would have is that the outletsare all the European round ones. Some adapters won’t fit in. You either have to bring the little flat ones or ask at the desk. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every day and would come back again soon.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, very nice rooftop bar/restaurant and lots of amenities. The service is what separates this hotel from others though. Everyone was friendly, professional and went out of their way to make our visit as pleasant as possible, The front desk was especially amazing. Albert, Glenn and Javier went over & above to meet all our needs; whether it was checking in & out, taking care of baggage, ordering taxis or recommending restaurants & excursions. It was evident they truly cared about their customers. Well done H10 Madison!

- aaedd123 (10/5): Location Location Location - Arrived early after a cruise, they were very accommodating, checking our luggage, prior to check in. The front desk staff were very friendly. The attached cafe was an excellent way to start the day, with breakfast included, and excellent service, and lots of selections. The room was comfortable & clean, with a nice bathroom, and comfy bed; the noise was not too bad. My only recommendation would be for more towel hooks, and luggage racks. I’d stay there again in a minute and recommend to others,l; it’s so close to the gothic historic area, theaters, restaurants, and the lovely outdoor market.

We didn’t see anyone in it over our four days there. Everyone said the same, it was too cold. Our room was a courtyard view, sounds nice, but the courtyard was about 5 metres squared, all facing in, which stopped any natural light coming in the room. Nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, good quality but would look elsewhere for a hotel with a pool and views from balcony.
- daniellecY8147YD (10/5): Solid, clean friendly and well located - We spent two nights post cruise at the Madison before catching our flight back to the US. The location is very good; its not too far from the port (quick taxi ride) AND the location is very walkable to both an indoor mall, cathedral and charming narrow streets filled with shops and cafes. The rooms are not luxurious per se, and on the smaller/economical space side of things but they add some nice features with the lighting, heated bathroom mirror, two person shower, ample plugs for phones and things on each side of the bed with side tables. Very clean, and staff was professional, friendly and competent both at the front desk, and the rooftop restaurant/bar. Oh and some nice views from the rooftop! We would return again if wanting/needing a hotel for a few days in the city.

Breakfast is served by friendly staff at a charming restaurant onsite and was very enjoyable with a great selection of hot and cold food. Real coffee made in a real machine by a barista and fresh orange juice - makes a difference. We had a superior room which was large and very comfortable, bathroom had two vanity basins so great for a couple. Very nice "Rituals' spanish brand of toiletries - good quality (not cheap). Air conditioning worked well, no sound from neighbours or the street and firm but comfortable king sized bed. Water provided in glass bottles everyday and cleaning was exceptional. Roof top bar was very nice with friendly staff, great views and good selection of drinks and bar food. Staff at front desk were very obliging, friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Albert, the front desk manager, went above and beyond to assist our group with all of our needs and made our stay delightful. He was outstanding. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb as well. H10 Madison gets my highest praise!
- Daydream21690442082 (10/5): Perfect central hotel - This was just a perfect hotel especially if you have challenges with mobility. Very central and metres away from Barcelona Cathedral. Honestly have zero negative to say!! Reception staff excellent very polite and extremely helpful. We had breakfast included which was superb, fresh and many options including gluten free. Again staff excellent. There is also a great roof terrace and pool, perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing with a cocktail……….Thank you!
- 3milliondollarview (10/5): Happy in Barcelona - Very nice hotel. Excellent location. We had a courtyard view room and it was very quiet. You would never know it was so busy outside. The front desk representative, Javier, was so patient and accommodating. I have to admit I was a little grumpy after flying all night and he was so helpful. He got us into our room at 13:00. We were very thankful. The hotel was beautiful and we would definitely stay here next time.
- M1607DLericg (4/5): Yuck - Look, you're paying for location. For the amount of money they charge for a cathedral view room, you have a nice balcony view of the cathedral down the street and it's perfectly located in the quarter. That said, it was the most expensive hotel we had with three other luxury hotels in three other cities in Spain and it was nowhere close in quality. Pros: The front desk staff was very nice and our check-in process was easy. We were offered a glass of cava. With it being our anniversary, they delivered a free bottle later as well with some chocolates. As I mentioned location as well. That is it. Cons: Rooms are small. The bed was not attached to the ground and moved around when we sat down or got up. The mattress was not very comfortable, especially for the price we paid. There were floor planks that were uneven in the main area. I cut my foot one morning. The shower leaked and we had no body soap, only two bottles of shampoo. The first day I showered the towel disintegrated on me like I am some superhuman guy who can rip a towel when I'm drying my back. The best... Our first night we enjoyed a glass of wine at their beautiful rooftop bar. We watched an off-duty waiter chat up the other employees. He proceeded to scratch his tush while lifting his shorts up exposing his tush skin. He then proceeded 5 minutes later to shove two fingers in his crack and dig aggressively. With those same hands, he went behind the bar and in a staff only area using the door handle. We saw him again the next night on duty serving bar nuts with those same nasty hands. Really unsettling!

It was beautifully furnished and modern - they offer water and champagne in the lobby - nice restaurant and fabulous breakfast - rooftop bar/restaurant with fantastic views - and also a roof top pool - the staff was extremely helpful and the location is perfect - you cannot go wrong with this hotel! We loved it!

- sueb0b123 (10/5): The H10 Madison has raised the bar and will meet all of your hotel expectations! - My husband and I were thrilled the moment that we stepped into our 'home' for 4 nights, the H10 Madison. The staff (Evelyn, Mia and Deborah among others) was so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, kind and patient. They were there for us when we needed a dinner recommendation, a reservation, directions, an umbrella and guidance. The location is so ideal...right smack dab in the middle of the Gothic Old Town, it was close to everything if you don't get lost...which we might have done a few times! And that is only the beginning...Oriole was there each morning to greet us for breakfast. He became our new BFF. He was so gracious and sweet and he couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

The staff was really great helping with a large family with multiple rooms and taking/holding luggage both prior to checking in and out which was a huge help.
- 627fannyt (6/5): Great Location, Meh Shower, and a Sad Biscuit - This hotel nails the location—close to everything and easy to explore on foot or by public transport. Big win there! The room? Cozy (read: small), and the air-con had commitment issues. I had to rely on the fan to get through the night. My window faced the back alley, so no Insta-worthy views here. The shower didn’t quite deliver the spa vibes I was hoping for—water pressure was more “gentle drizzle” than “power blast.” And the welcome snack? A butterfly biscuit that looked cute but tasted like it had been through a long journey. Not crispy. Not happy. Thankfully, the reception staff were lovely and helpful, which made up for the hiccups. If you’re here to explore and just need a place to crash, this spot does the job—with a few quirks to laugh about later.

- Alexander (6/5): - The staff and the property are really nice. However, Zaragosa and the rest of Spain is really anti semitic. There are more Palestinian flags supporting the terror regime of Hamas than their own province's flags. Its some kind of weird infatuation with this issue while they ignore women's rights in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Rohiynga massacre, and everything else. They are rooting for an Islamic fundamentalist regime that kills gays, bans alcohol, burkhas their women over a Western style democracy. I am done with Spain.

Looked at a number of hotels including a few H10 properties. Very glad we picked the H10 Madison. The location and condition of the property are excellent. Located on a small side street w limited traffic a block's walk to the Cathedral. The pictures matched the hotel which is BIG. Too many cherry pick and bait and switch. Our room looked like the pictures. The public areas and roof top looked like the pictures. All great. But was the absolute best was the staff. Without exception this was the best staff. Every one we met was wonderful and super helpful. The rooftop pool area and view were great. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Sure the rooms are smaller and the bed and pillows aren't the best but everything else more than made up for it. Highly, highly recommend. And thank you to all the staff. Seriously, first rate!

Roof top lounge/bar great place to have a drink and see the area from up high. Although it is accessible to the general public which made it busy and not enjoyable to relax/use the pool area adjacent to the lounge.

We took the hop on and hop off bus to get used to this very large city and then a private tour. Food in the hotel and its surroundings were beyond expectations. Would highly reccomend this hotel.

The room we had was large enough for 3 adults, and everything was comfortable. The front desk team was always helpful. And the view from the rooftop pool area was amazing!

Amazing view of the city and right next to the gorgeous Barcelona Cathedral. We highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed.
