• Guest (10/5): - I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help whenever needed. The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. The hotel location is also very convenient, with restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of food. Everything in the hotel was well maintained and created a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and comfort. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Номер чистый, аккуратный, всё на своих местах, постель свежая, спалось отлично. Персонал вежливый и спокойный, без натянутых улыбок — по-человечески общаются и реально стараются помочь, если что-то нужно. В отеле тихо, никто не мешал отдыхать. Для короткой остановки — вообще отличный вариант. Соотношение цены и качества приятно удивило. Если снова буду в городе, спокойно выберу «Астру» ещё раз.

• CHEN (3/5): Not recommended - 可以帮客户打包早餐 I do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1. The room was cramped and the environment unpleasant: Most areas of the room could not accommodate opening a 23-inch suitcase, there was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom, and no laundry bag was provided in the room. 2. The facilities were basic: Apart from the bathroom, no tissues were available in the room, and there were no rinsing cups provided at the sink. 3. There were issues with malfunctioning facilities: The room’s Wi-Fi was not working initially and could not be used, but none of the staff were aware of the issue. It was only resolved the next day after the IT personnel came to work. The room temperature was too low, and the heating was not functioning properly (upon inquiring at the front desk, we were told the hotel had turned off the air conditioning). 4. There were serious safety hazards: The elevator suddenly malfunctioned, trapping my friend and me inside. 5. The hotel staff had limited English proficiency and offered average service. They often could not understand the basic needs of guests. 6. The breakfast options were repetitive. Over four consecutive days, the breakfast menu remained almost identical, with only one or two items changing. Based on the overall experience and considering the price (averaging over 400 RMB per night), this hotel is not worth recommending. By the way, in China, you can find hotels with a much better experience in major urban areas of developed cities at the same price. Therefore, I believe the hotel's price is on the high side. The only commendable aspect was that when we needed to leave the hotel at 5 a.m., the staff packed breakfast for us—one of the few praiseworthy gestures.

• Javed (3/5): Look for better options. - Location is not bad. There was nothing to like. Stayed for 5 nights, had to chane the room for 3 times. -17 weather, hot water takes ages to come in the bathroom after so much of water wastage. Rooms are outdated, third room was locked, wasn't opening with the key, they had to call a carpenter to force open the door. Breakfast needs major revamp. Overall experience was pathetic for this value of money.

В ванной комнате дверь в душ не продумана, когда ты её открываешь вся вода стекает прямо на пол. Кровать жёсткая, подушки старые. Лифт всего один на весь отель и тот сломался. Завтраки вообще никакие, невкусно, не разнообразно. За такую цену 30 тыс за номер вообще не соответствует нашим ожиданиям!

• Abegail (4/5): Overall, our stay was disappointing due to inconvenience in the bathroom and poor housekeeping. - The hotel is ideally located with easy access to major attractions and transport. We appreciate the hospitality; however, we would like to share some concerns. The bathroom was not very convenient, the shower had a leak, and water flooded the entire bathroom each time it was used, housekeeping did not clean thoroughly, the coffee mugs were not changed daily, and the beddings was not replaced during our 8-days stay. We hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.
• April (6/5): I dont recommend to stay in this hotel if you have the same concerns that I have. - It is quite near to tourist spots. 1. The receptionist when we came doesn't look welcoming. 2. The bathroom is clog. 3. Not much options on breakfast. 4. Room dusty I kept sneezing. 5. The sheets don’t looked new or washed. 6. I hope they opt to put bidet. 7. They are not flexible, I was asking discount, considering that I checked in late and checked out early that is like a day free but they disregard my request.

Staff - friendly, can converse English well. Do respond to all guests needs fast. Hotel - simple but would exceed your expectations. Worth recommending. Thanks to the management, for the early - early check in ( we availed the early checkin offer, however we were accepted even earlier - than the early checkin time wihout anh cost). Take note, they also offer a free breakfast - I always look forward for the sausage. We were also allowed for a late check out ( free of cost).. what is more surprising, we were upgraded to a Suite. A very comfortable room, with a great view - Almaty 2 train staion can be seen from the balcony. I like the window view , with trees in the background. watching snow fall, enjoying the weather ❄️🌨️ We wished we had stayed longer 🤔 But for sure, will always choose this hotel for future trips to Kazakhstan and recommend to everyone ☺️😍 Thanks a lot to everyone, from staff to Management in Astra Hotel ( Ms. Dana, and to all we met 🤗)

• Mae (7/5): - It’s a descent hotel to stay at. It’s spacious and clean. They give fresh towels everyday. The only thing I don’t like is that the washroom doesn’t have a bidet and exhaust fan. Overall it’s still worth it for its price.

The room was quite small and When it to came the bed ,they had put together two single beds on one cot so it wasn't comfortable because there was a gap between two mattresses.
