- Anna (10/5): Charming heritage property right in the middle of all the action. - The most beautiful restored heritage property with the whole top deck to ourselves right in the middle of the hubbub of old town.The second night we had the keys to the whole house as there were no guests in the other room! We enjoyed the total surprise that for staying here we could have breakfast and also use the facilities of the House of MG, such as the pool, a short rickshaw ride away. You are also just a few hundred metres away from the night market with totally delicious food if you want an authentic experience. The staff were the most helpful of anywhere we have been both at the main House of MG and just down the road from this place at Haveli Ii. The beds were not the comfiest ever -.a bit hard for our liking - but they were fine for a couple of nights and if you have issues with mobility the stairs to the room are quite steep and narrow but the total charm of the property makes these minor niggles for us.

- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet part of the city, you step into the courtyard and it's an oasis of calm. Lovely rooms, very large, really well thought out use if the space, and love the fact the switches are labelled too. Bed was SUPER comfortable. Staff were excellent and helpful, you really felt you were their guest and nothing was a problem. Use of House of MG services was great too. Minor niggle - early in season so limited breakfast menu, but what was there was grea.

Lack of attention to comfort of guest Location is bad. Transport not upto mark. Haveli is quite ordinary. Location is bad. Overrated in name of heritage tag

- Ajit (8/5): Beauty and history to be maintained.... - Hotel is beautiful....rooms are a delight. Must say We Upgraded from the Haveli to the Hotel,as you check in at the hotel,but THE HAVELI is a few KM away. Didn’t make sense so as we were tired paid and upgraded to the HOUSE OF M.G. NO ROOM SERVICE.....breakfast in a restaurant outside,nearly by the road. Service from receptionists,very slow,no bell boys,give an hour if you need anything doing,e.g.checking out,or any other queries. The G.M.has only recently started,so have given her a few constructive criticism. However She is very pleasant and have a feeling,will get the hotel to the standards That it has potentially. The staff in the souvenir shop need to be more pleasant,simple pleases or Thankyou,won’t go a miss.
