- Weronika (10/5): Amazing stay - The hotel has extremely good localization, it’s in the city center. It’s just 3 minutes to the big shopping malls as well. There are a lot of bus stops near the hotel from when you can take buses and go to the most famous touristic places. The hotel is clean and so specious. The receptionists are very nice and helpful.

Many shops and restaurants at walking distance. Lifts not available. So if you have more luggage, you need to carry it via stairs. Also you need to specifically ask for cleaning of rooms, and its not automatically done daily.

Clean a really big double bed, shower, refrigerator, tv, wifi, tea and coffee. Is in the heart of Baku Marina aeria, few steps from the malls and the sea front. Friendly people who work there.

Super close to the Crescent building, boat cruise and Crescent mall. The state of the rooms is very dated and worn. The AC is a very old system and is not suffice to cool the room. It was like sleeping in a sauna. Opening the two large windows worked somewhat to cool down the space at night time but then you are left with mosquitos and the horrific sound of the close busy road.

I would use this review to compliment the young person that worked the night shift when we checked out - he helped us immensely with the language barrier between us and the driver that took us to the airport. He didn't have to do that at 2am, but he did and we are super thankful to him!

- Maksatbekov (1/5): Bad - nothing!!!! If we talk about the hotel itself, nothing positive!!!! Not worth a single dollar! Worst hotel in terms of value for money! Sometimes I wonder how some hotels manage to increase their rating on booking.com and give a false impression of the hotel. The description of the hotel itself and the positive reviews about it are all lies. The hotel is dirty, unclean, smells like a bath. This place looks like a brothel where they come with local girls. Breakfast is outside the hotel, you have to walk across the road and then it starts at 10am in the coffee shop next door. I could write a lot about this hotel, but just ask you not to repeat my mistakes. By the way, don't be fooled by the exterior photos of the hotel, it's actually inside the Baku Municipal Port building.

- H.kaya (4/5): Horrible - I didn't like anything about this hotel except the front desk staff. I can clearly say that it is not a clean place in terms of hygiene. The bed in the room is very hard and there is also a lot of garbage under it, which is really disgusting. You can easily find hair from previous guests on the towels. I asked the hotel for an iron and the iron that was given to me was quite dirty. They also specifically stated that there was no ironing board. When I made my reservation, I made a reservation with breakfast included, but when I went to the hotel, I was told that there was no breakfast and that the amount paid for breakfast would be refunded to me. I can recommend this hotel to everyone as long as if you do not need basic needs such as a comfortable bed, a clean room, a nice shower, hot and cold water, an iron and ironing board. I should have given a lower score to this hotel. The score I gave is only for the front desk staff who welcomed me with a smile and helped me wholeheartedly with all my questions.

Yusuf checked us in the rooms also made us visit before we paid so that we don’t have any complaints. Kanan Valiyev was the sweetest and greeted us every time we came and go. Raul was a young adult served us breakfast in room on request. All of them spoke good English which is rare in Baku. The rooms were spacious. Location was very convenient adjacent to malls and Baku boulevard. There was not much to complain but if I nit pick the carpet in the room was little old and had few stains. Although it was clean and my feet didn’t pick any dirt when I walked on it.

My recent experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory, and it’s clear that the low price comes with a host of significant drawbacks. One of the most glaring issues was the lack of accessibility; there were no elevators or proper entry access, which was not mentioned in the advertisement. This oversight made navigating the hotel quite inconvenient, especially for guests with heavy luggage or mobility challenges. The condition of the room itself left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I discovered a broken shower, which was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was old and poorly maintained, resulting in an extremely noisy environment that made it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the room felt neglected and was not up to the standards one would expect, especially considering the rates charged. What added to the discomfort of my stay was the hotel’s unusual policies regarding room condition. At check-in, I was handed a price list detailing potential charges for any damage or missing items, such as towels and dirty sheets. This was an unprecedented experience for me and created an atmosphere of mistrust. Furthermore, the checkout process required me to wait for a staff member to inspect the room before finalizing my departure, which felt intrusive and unnecessary. In summary, while the hotel may boast a cheap price, it is evident that this comes at the expense of quality and guest experience. The combination of accessibility issues, poor room conditions, and unusual policies made my stay quite off-putting. I would recommend potential guests to consider these factors carefully before making a reservation.
- Mark (8/5): Great location and welcomed by good people! - Marine Inn Hotel has a really good location being located along the main road of Baku, surrounded by malls, parks, restaurants and near Caspian Sea. Great Job! to the three sweet and dedicated front desk officers namely Canaan, Raul and Kareem, the service and treatments they give to the guest are outstanding! the towels seems old but within standard, and they might want to look at replacing the small fridge in the room. and even though guest are mostly outside for tours and sight seeing it would be good to have English channels on the TV.

I used the TV stand but it was a little narrow
- Tanedars (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious Room, Reasonable price, Exceptional Service. All their staffs are really helpful and friendly. They helped me to order a private charter to Gobustan, and also helped me to order delivery food online. there is one thing needed to be aware of. Their credit card machine is not working. All our cards got declined. You may pay until you check out. So better go to the Central Post Office nearby to exchange cash.

Karim was kind and friendly and even booked me a bolt to the airport which was much lower price than the regular taxis in Baku. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well.
