• lifestylemigration (10/5): Always such a pleasure to stay here! - We usually stay at the EB either before or after traveling through Quito, as we have been living in Cuenca for almost six years. The free shuttle pick up from just outside baggage claim, and free shuttle return, make it very convenient (schedule pick up by flight info, and return shuttle runs every half hour). The staff is always so accommodating and pleasant, from check in and check out, to the bar and restaurant, to the support staff here. At this visit, a zipper pull came off of one of our suitcases, and Jean Villalobos was a very kind maintenance employee who came to the room and fixed the zipper perfectly! Security is present and no one is allowed on the property except guests. The guest rooms are very spacious, including an awesome shower, comfortable king bed, and beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Quito. We will definitely return and recommend the EB Hotel Quito Airport to our family and friends when a visit requires using the airport here!
• the_lowdown (10/5): Posh - Location - an ideal hotel if you're catching an early flight the next day. Room - clean and modern looking. The highlight was the shower that could fit 4 people comfortably (if you wanted) with 2 showerheads and a glass wall (with blinds) to the room. Hotel - Beautifully decorated with lots of flowers. Service - exceptional. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. As my husband and I were only there for one night, we were hoping to use the outdoor pool. Check-in is from 4 pm. We arrived at 5 pm and the pool closes at 6 pm which was disappointing. However, there is a steam room that's open until 10 pm. The front desk told us to just call 15 min ahead before we were planning to use it and they'd go turn it on. As mentioned, wonderful service.

• GrahamH91 (10/5): A day, a weekend or a week - you can't miss with Eb Hotel by Eurobuilding! - I came across this hotel while searching for.a place to recuperate after a long overseas flight before continuing on to the Galapagos Islands. How lucky am I - this was an absolute gem of a place. Upon arriving at Quito airport we were greeted by the hotel shuttle driver, Fernando. No need to go looking, he was right there. The hotel lobby was impressive with roses of every colour, everywhere. Villlery checked us in quickly and explained all of the hotel's ammenities. After a long flight, this warm welcome was exactly what we needed. Then off to our room - spacious, clean with everything we needed. Nonetheless, someone came by pretty quickly to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay leaving behind some nuts and chocolate as a snack. The hotel restaurant was another highlight, coming in a close second to the overall service. You have to try the Ceviché - they have two recipes and while I have a favourite, you must try them both. The restaurant staff delivered five-star service: attentive and transparent allowing us to enjoy a peaceful dinner. We are grateful to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable, especially Euvi, Cici, Villlery, Fernando, and José.

The facilities are clean, modern and comfortable. The staff is efficient and helpful. Everyone is understandable and speaks at least English. The restaurant has prompt service and great food. And, the manager spent several hours driving us around to find a replacement medical device that had broken in flight. I have travelled all over the world and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The best part was the service at the front desk: they helped us print our boarding passes for our next-day flight. The breakfast was excellent. An ideal hotel for short stays. Highly recommended.
• neyrandres (4/5): It's not useful for traveling. - The hotel has a charming design and luxurious facilities; however, its main function is as a stopover for travelers using the airport. For this reason, its transfer system is, to say the least, inadequate. Upon arrival, we had to wait more than half an hour for them to pick us up. The following day, we had requested private transportation to get to our flight, but they sent us in the regular shuttle with everyone else trying to get on at that time. And because of a couple of dollars a man gave him, the driver almost abandoned us. In his haste, he treated my wife badly and started unloading our suitcases from the vehicle. Fortunately, we managed to get the driver to wait a couple of minutes and take us to the airport; otherwise, we would have missed our flight, which I couldn't afford since I had urgent surgery at 9 am (in 3 hours). Definitely, if you have time to book, consider another option closer to the airport with better service and more practical for your travel needs.

The front desk arranged for Dario Morales to take us on a tour. He was wonderful and gave our family of 5 an amazing opportunity to see Quito! I highly recommend going with him for a day!

• I408EZjaimes (10/5): Great business trip hotel - I booked EB without having stayed here previously. This was a very complicated business trip with multiple arrivals and many booking changes. Proximity to the airport but especially attention to detail made it a no glitch experience. Front desk did a great job updating bookings over and over (and over) again. A 15 person business dinner was organized and managed to perfection by the dining room staff. Food was good. Go for the sirloin and the paiche. Special shout out for Euvi Marin who took care of our table two nights in a row, managing our very difficult group with a smile, lots of patience and utmost professionalism. He really made a difference. Their Portuguese wines are definitely worth trying.

They responded to my email enquiry very promptly offering a day rate which was reasonable and included transport between the airport and hotel (10 mins each way), use of a room and pool, gym and spa and a delicious lunch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Their shuttle was easy to locate as it was pulling up as we were walking out. All of the staff were beyond amazing and extremely accommodating. The room was spotless and well appointed. The food in the restaurant was very good and the included breakfast had a very wide selection. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever experienced, especially for this price point! Security was real and stopped every vehicle to verify their reason for entry. There was nothing I would change about the hotel or our experience. Truly a gem!

• dianetV8912OG (10/5): EB is “Everything Best” !! - First time at EB! We had to find a hotel close to Miami airport for one night. Our travel agent insisted we stay there. What a delightful stay. Everyone was so nice and professional. The interior design was richly appointed, the food was gourmet without the usual high prices! Our amazing waitress was Cecibel. She was so attentive and had a most beautiful smile. We will go back if we ever need a hotel in Miami. Our travels took us to Ecuador where we stayed in another EB Hotel. The experience was the same as Miami. EB is a Venezuelan chain: the ONLY EB in the US is the one in Miami. I would give the EB 10 stars if I could! 👸

• RoverP (8/5): Great airport hotel but bizarre room light arrangement - This is great for an airport stop over in order to avoid the horrendous traffic that a more central hotel would require. It is excellent in most respects and I would have given it 5 stars without hesitation were it not for the light switch system in the room. They are trying to be too clever and modern. I spent ages trying to find a switch to switch a particular light off only to discover it would only switch off by using the master switch when all the lights are switched off. I then discovered that with the master switch off you could then switch off your bedside light and then switching it on again restored its functionality. There was also a movement activated series of lights which lit up if you needed the loo in the night. Different lights came on as you made your short trip which makes it more of a light show than a gentle guiding light. Argh! What on earth is wrong with the concept of having each light or group of lights being controlled by switches specific to them. On a big plus point, the restaurant served up the best chocolate mousse I have ever had!

Arriving at the Quito airport at midnight, it was such a relief to see the hotel's driver standing there with a placard with our names on it! Upon arriving at the hotel, they gave us each a bottle of water. The lobby is filled with vases of the most gorgeous roses! The room was great and the chocolates on our pillows and complimentary little bags of snacks were a very nice touch!

My family and I arrived well past the cut off time for checking in, very tired and overwhelmed from our long international travel. Fernando and Santiago were there to welcome us warmly and made the check in process quick, easy and comfortable. They even included breakfast with our booking! I cant recommend this hotel enough. You will feel welcome, comfortable and pampered.
• DebbyKZN (10/5): Just Perfect - The journey from the Airport did not take long - so this Hotel is close to the airport which was very convenient. My arrival was late evening and my departure the following morning very early. The check in was smooth and very grateful for this as I was a little tired. The room was perfect for my needs - one night sleep over, the bed was really comfy, the shower had great pressure, the toweling soft and overall just perfect for my needs. Did not get to experience the breakfast but there was a coffee/tea station available for guests who like me had a very early departure. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
• Road31941729263 (10/5): Freddy is a great Barman! - This hotel is stunning. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the staff was kind, accommodating, and very courteous. We spent some time in the bar area and Freddy was our bartender. He said he didn’t speak English well but he did amazing communicating with us as 2 out of the 3 didn’t speak Spanish well. The drinks we were served were absolutely delish and Freddy did not let our drinks run dry. Highly recommend stopping by the bar even if it’s for one drink to be served by Freddy! The hotel secured us with transport to and from the airport which saved us time and the hassle of picking up or returning a rental car. The interior of the hotel room was superior. From upscale linens, high tech lighting and privacy settings, and amazing views I will definitely stay here again.

• Journey622643 (10/5): Great hotel near Quito Airport - Great location about 10 minutes from Quito airport. The hotel was able to arrange transfers to and from the airport during our stay. The service was impeccable. On the night of our very late arrival we requested a room change, which they were able to accommodate at the last minute. In addition, they had a great food selection for our breakfast buffet that was included in our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. I highly recommend this resort if you’re staying in Quito and need a location close to the airport.

Everything was great, but what stood out the most was the service from the restaurant staff, Euvi who at our family dinner was kind, attentive, and very professional, yet still friendly. It was clear he loves what he does, and it shows. He made us feel comfortable, listened to, and was always attentive to the details, even without us having to ask. You don't see that kind of treatment every day, and it's worth recognizing. When you travel, you keep your experiences... and definitely, thanks to people like him, this was a very good one. The airport shuttle was perfect and waiting for us at the airport during our late night arrival. I sent a few email questions and always got quick and clear answers. Food was great, bed super comfortable, and I loved the dual shower in the bathroom. Lovely customer service. A very modern hotel!

Absolutely delighted with the staff. They were super friendly and accommodating. Had several idiosyncratic requests and Gianfranco and the folks at the front desk were very responsive. The bar and bartender were very pleasant. Restaurant had excellent dinner and breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub though limited shade. Wife had great massage in spa. Exceeded expectations for an "airport hotel" and is truly much more.
• PatS2636 (10/5): Always my first choice in Quito when traveling. - I always look forward to staying at the Eb Hotel in Quito. Their customer service is excellent and they always make sure everything is fine. I really like the shuttle to and from the hotel as it makes staying there much easier.
• Tull00 (10/5): An Oasis by the Airport - Rafael at reception gave us a generous upgrade to a beautiful suite along with a discount at the spa. We were able to store our luggage for free while we spent 5 days in the rain forest. Euvi served us most hospitably in the restaurant, which was wonderful. The shrimp ceviche was especially delicious. Overall, everyone was gracious and most helpful. I highly recommend the EB Hotel!

• Panoramicos (10/5): Nice hotel near the airport of Quito - We chose this hotel due to the proximity of Quito airport, as we needed to spend the night between two flights. To our surprise the check-in time is only 4pm, which is odd for an airport hotel, where people come and go at all times of the day. However, Gianfranco at the reception was very helpful and not only let us check in early (approx. at noon), but also granted us an an upgrade to a suite at no extra charge. The room was very spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. A good option if you need to stay close to the airport.
