Hotel team is super friendly and helped us on all our requests before and during the stay. Thx. We really like the beautiful garden,it is a nice place to enjoy coffee and snacks by the hotel. I will definitely book here again for my future trips at Rome. Strongly recommend.

• Phutatorius (8/5): A Peaceful Corner of Trastevere - The garden was lovely, as was the generally quiet location by the botanical garden (except on Saturday night when there was a band there). The room was small but not excessively so. Staff were friendly and helpful on the few occasions I interacted with them. I was mainly out with friends. A problem that's common to all of central Rome is that decent accommodation is expensive, and Villa dei Riari is no exception. Also, the quiet comes with a price: it's 10-15 minutes to most of the cafes and restaurants in Trastevere. Not excessive, but not exactly next-door either.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was generous with complimentary breakfast and snacks. The garden is an oasis of calm and really enjoyed the rabbit which was free to roam in the beautiful lush garden. • Jo'anne (9/5): Oase van rust en groen. - Comfortabel, zeer rustige en groene locatie in Trastevere (perfect als je van rust en groen houdt, maar geen winkels etc. in de straat). Prachtige royale tuin. Echt ontspannen. Niets viel tegen. Let wel op bij boeken: niet elke kamer heeft een eigen badkamer. Het hotel heeft geen ontbijtzaal maar biedt wel gratis broodjes, croissants etc. aan 's ochtends.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends! The mattress wasn't very comfortable, a bit too hard for me, although it depends on what you're used to.

Recebi café da manhã gratuito toda a minha estadia e água também. A equipe. A única coisa negativa, é não ter um espelho de corpo inteiro kkkkk mas também, tudo bem né.

Special thanks for the evening receptionist, Toninio who made us feel we were at home! location is also great! the only downside was the external bathroom, but we had a private one which was good!

• Maria (10/5): Amazing garden oasis in the middle of most beautiful Rome - Garden was the most beautiful oasis one could imagine. I loved staying in that tranquility, it truly sets you to a peaceful state of mind. Villa’s pet bunny Bruno is the most adorable and sweet little guy. Seeing Bruno, hearing so many birds chirping, being around beautiful flowers and trees – just being in that beautiful nature environment in the middle of hectic, yet most beautiful part of Rome made me so happy. The staff was so kind and helpful, it was truly a pleasure to stay there. Room had everything essential, it was very clean and I slept there so well. Best price-quality ratio I’ve seen in a long time. I know I have to come back there when ever I’m visiting Rome the next time! The rooms are pretty simple, yet there’s everything you need. Shared bathroom wasn’t an issue either – there was always toilets available and they were very clean, so nothing to complain. My personal preference would be a completely smoking-free garden.

They haven't got breakfast, but there are some coffee, tea, croissant and sandwiches every morning on reception: I love this, really good start to the day. The garden and terrace so beautiful. The shared bathroom was always clean and there were enough bathrooms/toilets, I always found one that was usable. The staff was so kind and helpful, I will definitely come back again if I am in Rome ❤️ Nothing.

• BirgitU (10/5): - Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, es gibt ein kleines Frühstück, dass im Preis inkludiert ist und das man im wunderschönen Garten genießen kann. Wir waren mit Hund unterwegs und mußten nur eine Endreinigungsgebühr (ca € 40,-) bezahlen und nicht pro Nacht, was für mich ein klarer Pluspunkt ist. Die Lage ist auch perfekt, obwohl man sofort im Trubel ist, ist es sehr ruhig.

• David (10/5): A delight that I would have gladly extended - The villa's position about 200m north of Trastevere makes it very close to the vibrant streets of the tourist area, but being up a quiet road and with a very large garden makes it an unexpectedly peaceful haven. THere was also a large roof terrace for anyone wanting to sunbathe. Although breakfast was not part of the deal, coffee and either a sandwich or sweet pastry were available from 6.30 am; the staff were without exception friendly, helpful and available. Shared showers and toilets although that was a clealry stated part of the deal for those with single rooms. Nonetheless, the facilitiey were exceptionally clean and in sufficient quantity that I never had to wait.

• Romy (8/5): Great value for a peaceful stay in Busy Rome - Bed was clean and very comfortable. Modest space, but very pleasant for the price. The room offered slippers, robe, and towels for use, with a small sink and mirror inside as well. Staff - Especially Tony - were very welcoming and helpful. Garden and roof were such a pleasant and quiet getaway space in a city as busy as Rome. Would stay again!! The building itself of course had some water damage / paint spots coming off. Not offensive, just notable.

• Marianne (10/5): Bel emplacement au calme ⛲️🌸 - Superbe hôtel, au calme et pourtant seulement à deux pas du très animé quartier de Trastevere. Proche du Vatican et du centre de Rome à partir duquel vous pourrez visiter à pied. L’hôtel jouit d’un jardin et d’un terrasse , très agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner offert par l’hôtel le matin ou bien se relaxer entre deux viss. Personnel très agréable , chambres propres et fonctionnelles. C’est une belle adresse si vous êtes à la recherche d’un bel emplacement et de calme 😊 Peut être la salle de bain hors chambre mais ce n’était pas vraiment un problème pour moi.

The courtyard/garden area was my favorite thing at the hotel, it was a great place to relax in between adventures. The shared bathroom turned out to be just fine as there were 6 of them. The room was a little bleak . If I had it over again I would have reserved one of the double bed rooms that face the garden.

The room was subpar, no place to put your luggage, very old room, the worst part was the " private bathroom " it was outside the room, you have to walk a corridor to get to a bunch of tiny bathrooms. The bathroom was not confortable at all, it was very small. The shower head faced one of the opening doors, you have to be very careful not to flood the bathroom.

• 4717442cf2b171c37d230b1ebff8d33e (8/5): A perfect budget place for a solo backpacker to stay in Trastevere with free pastries for breakfast - The location was perfect for someone who wishes to eat in Trastevere every night, also very close to Vatican. Breakfast was not advertised but they kindly provided coffee and pastries every morning which was very nice. Also a complimentary bottle of water every day in the mini-fridge. In advance of my stay they also send me food recommendations for the area, the places I are at that don’t require bookings are: Osteria da Zi Umberto, Trattoria Da Enzo & Trattoria da Augusto Not much to complain about, I would prefer private bathrooms but honestly the shared bathrooms were never a problem as there are multiple and they were all almost always free. Towels were not replaced every day which I would have liked. I think I did smell a bit of body odour after my room had been cleaned perhaps it was the cleaner? Otherwise I don’t know where it was coming from.

Muhteşem bir bahçesi var kesinlikle sabah kruvasan ve kahve ile orada güne başlamanızı tavsiye ederim. Sadece 2 gün kalmamı sevmedim. Zamanım olsaydı keşke çok daha fazla kalabilseydim.
