• Jihane (10/5): Parfait - J’ai passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cette maison d’hôte au Japon. L’emplacement est idéal, très bien situé pour découvrir les environs facilement. L’hôte est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, toujours attentive au moindre détail et soucieuse de notre confort. L’accueil a été chaleureux et irréprochable du début à la fin. La propreté est impeccable, tout est parfaitement entretenu. La maison est également très confortable, on s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Merci merci merci merci encore RIEN
• Luuk (9/5): Maximaal verblijf van 2 nachten - Het lag zeer dicht bij Lake ashi & de eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk. Vanwege mijn lengte (ca. 1,90m) moest ik overal voor bukken en mijn benen staken bij het bed. De omgeving is mooi voor 2 dagen, maar daarna heb je het wel gezien. Daarnaast sluiten alle restaurants enorm vroeg in de omgeving.

• Adam (10/5): - The guesthouse manager was incredibly nice and accommodating. The accommodation was quiet and peaceful. Shower and bath amenities added to the experience along with traditional garments to wear. A quick 10min stroll to the town below. Affordable. Would recommend.

Zicht op Mount Fuji vanaf de kade en rondlopen en of slapen in een Japans gewaad op de grond is geweldig

Me tocó mucho frío, pero dormí muy bien. El baño. Hay un laberinto de WC y el lavabo que me tocaba no servía. Está a 15 minutos caminando de Moto Hakone, cuesta arriba. Hay que bajarse del autobús una parada antes de Moto Hakone.

• Brandon (9/5): Exceptional hospitality and a truly kind, honest host - The service here is wonderful, and it is a good location super close to a bus stop. The room, shared kitchen area, and bathrooms were all clean, comfy, and well-maintained. I highly recommend this place for the hospitality alone! The water lines froze so there wasn't hot water the night I stayed, but this wasn't a huge issue for my stay since I was only there for 1 night.

• Felix (9/5): Lovely guest house and amazing value for the money - Incredibly nice staff, very easy to reach, nice Japanese style room in a cute house. Close to the lake, I highly recommend walking around it and discovering the beautiful nature. Important to stay away from the main tourist attractions though, the area is terribly touristy and crowded during the weekend. Lighting in the room was a bit rough, but I guess that's part of the package in Japanese style rooms. Futon was very comfortable but sadly the blanket was too tiny for me (I'm 190cm tall). In general, everything is a bit tiny, but I guess that's Japan...

• Mitchell (9/5): Excellent accommodation in a quiet but beautiful area of Hakone - Right next to a bus stop that takes you all the way to and from Odawara Station as well as down to the bottom of the hill. Plenty of heating for the winter months and offers excellent service Literally nothing was displeasing about this stay
• Yuriko (10/5): It is comfortable to stay silent. - They provided us with yukatas, tea and a heater (since we were going in the winter), as well as towels. The futon was very comfortable and, since it was below zero outside, it was very helpful for us to be able to stay warm in the room. We were also able to watch the Japanese singing programme "Kohaku" while drinking tea and celebrating the New Year.

• Xin (9/5): Highly recommended it for stay near Hakone lake. - Everything, best accommodation of my trip, it’s guesthouse price but Japanese lyukan: all tatami room with yukata, low table, a thermal, teas and cup, tv, aircom. Fuji room has traditional lattice window and elegant doors. Kitchen /dining room fully equipped with condiments, instant coffee and sugar etc for free. The owner is very nice, even if he’s out whole day, found a way to store my suitcase till evening after checking out 10am, great help for travelers! Many thanks. Nothing, only 1 min to bus stops for both directions. If not timing well for the bus, need to walk down to lakeside for 8-10min. We catch bus H (about every 15min) when uphill back to guesthouse.

Номеров немного, души, туалеты, всё всем хватает. Везде всё подписано на английском. Наш 2-х местный номер 'Хаконе" нам очень понравился! Уютный, атмосферный, есть куда повесить и сложить вещи, удобная постель, есть полотенца, зубные щётки, чай, чайник с горячей водой и юката! Жаль были всего одну ночь. Хозяин очень приветливый, старается во всём помочь Чуть далековато и в горку, если идти снизу от магазина Lawson. Мы шли по темноте вдоль дороги, там нет тротуара, немного опасно. Но это нюансы

• Ruth (9/5): Schoon, netjes, fijne bedden en een geweldige host!! - De host is ongelooflijk behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Hij spreekt niet heel goed Engels, maar staat constant klaar om te helpen en met Google translate komen we erg ver. Hij zorgde dat we het niet koud kregen door de heater aan te doen overal waar we kwamen, bood aan ons ergens op te halen, gaf ons heerlijke koekjes en toen wij na afloop een kledingstuk waren vergeten, heeft hij het nog dezelfde dag naar ons nieuwe hotel opgestuurd. Deze host is echt lief en geweldig!! Verder was het verblijf ook heel erg schoon en netjes. De bedden lagen heerlijk en het dekbed was super. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Op koudere dagen is er ook een heater, dus dat was perfect. Toen wij in Hakone waren, was het weer niet zo goed, maar door deze host en dit verblijf was het alsnog erg leuk. De ligging is over het algemeen goed, alleen ‘s avonds moet je een stukje langs de donkere weg lopen naar het centrum van Moto Hakone. Wel een bushalte voor de deur voor als je liever niet zou lopen.

Très belle chambre japonaise - La maison typiquement japonaise avec la chambre japonaise et les futons très confortables, j'ai très bien dormi. La proximité avec un arrêt de bus et le Tori de la paix L'hôte est très gentil et très serviable mais ne parle que très peu l'anglais dommage.

• Tyler (10/5): Can’t say enough good things about this property. I wish we stayed longer than one night. We’d absolutely come back to s - The host was so kind and easy to talk to. He gave us cookies and even some of his kimchi soup that he was making when we arrived. The location was amazing - right by two bus stops and within a 10 min walk of the lake. All of the facilities were so clean. The signs above each of the room doors were so cute. We stayed in the Fuji room, which was spacious and perfect for my fiancé and I. The futons were so comfy and the comforter seemed brand new - possibly the fluffiest Japanese comforter I’ve seen. Yukatas, towels, and personal care amenities were provided in our room. Condiments, coffee, and tea were all provided. Absolutely incredible value for the amount that we paid. I’ve visited Japan over a dozen times to see family, and this is definitely one of the nicest places I’ve stayed at - certainly the nicest homestay.
