- Antonio (9/5): Ottimo - Atmosfera, tranquillità, pulizia Colazione non compresa

- Ebru (8/5): Small village house in the nature good for short trip - We stayed at this house surrounded by nature, which offers a peaceful and green environment. It’s important to note that you do need a car to reach the property, but the directions and check-in instructions provided by the host were very clear and helpful.
Me and my husband were traveling with our 4-month-old small poodle and unfortunately forgot to inform the host in advance. Although pets are normally not allowed, we truly appreciated that they still accepted our stay. Our dog is well-trained, quiet, and we mostly spent our days with us, returning to the house only for sleeping.
Check-in was smooth and well organized. Giulia welcomed us upon arrival, showed us around, and explained everything in detail. Communication was easy, and they also shared their phone number for quick contact via WhatsApp if needed.
The house itself is well equipped. There was coffee, still and sparkling water provided, and even olive oil available for guests to use, which was a thoughtful touch. The surroundings are beautiful, with greenery, flowers, and the relaxing sound of birds—perfect for anyone looking to disconnect.
The heating is set to a maximum of 23°C. Since evenings in April in Bracciano can still be quite cool, this wasn’t always sufficient for us, and we used the air conditioning for additional warmth. We were informed about it so that was fine.
Overall, the place is quiet and relatively private, even though there are a few other houses in the area, including one nearby. We didn’t get the chance to use it, but a barbecue was also available upon our request, which is a nice bonus for guests with more time to enjoy the property.
In summary, this is a lovely nature getaway with thoughtful amenities and helpful hosts. Just be aware of the water schedule and house layout when planning your stay. There are a few points to consider. We were informed upon arrival that water is cut off daily between 12:00 and 05:00 due to construction. This was a bit inconvenient, especially as water is essential for comfort and cleanliness. Additionally, the way this information was communicated felt a bit strict when I was disappointed, by hearing so we all dont have it here, which was not ideal after a long journey. In the end, there was still water in the toilet and and a little on the sink for washing the hands, so we did not struggle.
Regarding the layout, the house has one bedroom with a bathroom, but there is no door opening and closing, just a door whole separating it from the kitchen and entrance area. For our short stay of three nights, this was manageable, but for longer stays, it may be something to keep in mind. Because windows are mostly high and small.

Accoglienza ottima e host molto discreta e disponibile.
- Eleonora (10/5): Exceptional - The location was very quiet and relaxing. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
- Beatrice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandros (9/5): Superb - A very cozy and relaxed place close to nearby attractions. The facility was walking distance from the train station to Rome.
- Per (10/5): Perfect place - Really nice setting
- Amedeo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paige (10/5): A serene retreat in the country side of Italy with convenient day trips to Rome. - The beauty of this area was a gift. The sunsets, flowers and castle across the lake was definitely enjoyed by our family of four! While we could not walk to the lake - as it is far away - you can see its beauty in the distance. The location is perfect for a quiet space to escape the noise and business of nearby Rome. The owners were so kind and gracious and even provided us with fresh olive oil, coffee and sugar and a wealth of information regarding transit and nearby activities. They communicated within minutes. We had exceptional wifi and cell service the entire stay and the house was spotless. The serene views, spaciousness of the cottage and the beautiful people who run this establishment made it 10/10. We ate at a delicious restaurant, which is near the Vigna de Valle train station, twice! The food at @TrattoriaLeonedal1937 was the best we had on our trip and the owners were exceptional, kind and lovely! The train is 1/2 a mile away which takes you into Rome and the nearby town of Bracciano. Visit Bracciano's cobblestone streets and towering castle - it is quite charming! All in all, Agriturismo Fontelupo was a wonderful experience and we hope to visit this beautiful area again one day! We arrived unknowingly during an extreme transit reduction so there were very few trains available in and out of this town towards Rome. Even still, our trip was enjoyable thanks to the kindness of our host who helped us out with further information on trains and buses. If you are wanting to stay here without a car, it is doable, but a bit harder as you are subject to the whims of the trains and possible cancelations. A car would have made this stay even more enjoyable! As this property is on an active olive farm, keep in mind that there are many insects around. Since we stayed in July, there were several bees we had to be mindful of.
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Oleksii (10/5): Exceptional - This is all what we need! Perfect. No comments!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
- Pavel (9/5): Superb - The accommodation met my expectations, I have already been there three times. A pleasant place to relax. About 15 km to the sea and 10 minutes to the lake by car. Shops and restaurants in nearby Bracciano or in the beautiful town of Anguillara Sabazia (foto)
