Guest Reviews
- Fernando (10/5): - Kim did an excellent job before and after our arrival. She provided excellent tips on where to go and what to do. Room was huge. Breakfast delicious.
- Rob (10/5): - Kim was a wonderful host, with excellent recommendations for sightseeing in Bruges & restaurants to try. We wish we had stayed longer.
- Brian (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay in Brugge. The property was very close to the main square, and the whole town is walkable. Kim was an excellent host, and the breakfast was very nice. If we every find our way back to Belgium, we will be staying at the Braamberg B&B.
- Caroline (10/5): Absolutely spotless and great location - Kim was a great hostess and made us very welcome. She gave us a map and a few recommendations.
The room was large and beautifully furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable with fabulous linens. A nice shower too.
The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits, lovely pastries, breads with meats and cheese and even a nice boiled egg if you wanted it.
The location was great being only a few minutes walk to the main attractions. There was a bit of noise at night but that is to be expected with cobbled streets I suppose. The second night we kept the windows shut which helped. It was a lovely stay. Thanks to Kim for her excellent hospitality.
- Derek (10/5): - Pleasant host, good breakfast with home touches. Very clean and accommodating. People may find the staircase challenging as it's in a period property and could be viewed as steep
- Danny (10/5): - Ideal base for seeing Brugge. Centrally located & walking distance from all the key places to visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Kim is an exceptional host. She had the room impecable for us, beautifully decorated. The B&B is very well located, just a couple of blocks from two main squares in old town. The breakfast is superb. The house is very cousy. The second day we had to leave early and missed breakfast, however Kim prepared a couple of bags for us so we could have breakfast on our way to Amsterdam. Very kind of her!. I highly recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A fantastic B&B in the heart of Bruges. The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully presented and the breakfast was delicious. Kim was so welcoming and extremely helpful in providing information on places to visit and restaurants to try. Thoroughly recommend!
- Dan (10/5): - Lovely little b&b , great location , Kim the owner extremely helpfully
- Billy (10/5): - great 18th century town house made into a lovely contemporary B&B, large room , very clean and well maintained, host could not be more helpful.
- Russell (10/5): - Fantastic stay in Historic Brugge.
Hats off to Kim for an amazing short stay in Bruges. Our roon was huge (city view room), everything was very clean and well kept, the decor perfectly suited the atmosphere of the town. Bathroom was spacious, clean and modern with a great shower for after a day on your feet exploring the city. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, pastries, cold meat and cheese, yogurt and eggs (I probably forgot some as well), far more than I'd expect from a B&B. Kim was lovely throughout the entire stay, couldn't do enough to help and gave brilliant recommendations for evening meals along with marking out some places to visit on a map she gave us.
All in all I can't sing the praises loud enough, highly recommended and we'll certainly re-book if we come back to Bruges again. :)
- Ruth (10/5): Perfect location close to centre but quiet - Lovely breakfasts, charming and quiet room at back of house with view over garden, perfect hostess full of helpful suggestions. Have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending.
- Trisha (10/5): Beautiful B&B - This B&B has everything you need
- It is very well situated, located just a few steps away from the belfry tower and market square.
- The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. I was very tired from a conference in London, and traveling from Amsterdam, so I really needed a comfortable and relaxing place to stay and this B&B provided that. The bathroom was very clean.
- Kim was very helpful and provided great tips on where to go in Bruges, depending on what your interests are
- Breakfast service was superb
- Check in was a breeze, I called Kim to let her know I was on her way and just before I opened the door, there she was. She was such a graceful and attentive host
- The stairs was a bit steep and narrow, which is very common in Europe so no big deal
- Bonus, not sure if I am entirely correct but I believe this building is a Unesco Heritage Site building since there was the blue and white tag outside.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and comfortable rooms. Central location. Would recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is an excellent B&B and located right next to the attractions. It is a house built in 1741 and recently renovated. There are a lot restaurants and shops within mins of walking. The owner is so nice providing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel in walking distance to all Bruges offe - All I can say is WOW - this B &B was a great surprise - the inside is old but modern if you can imagine that - built in 1740 - the bedrooms are large and the bed is extremely comfortable- the bathroom has been remodeled and the shower can fit 3 people!!! Found it hard to leave the room - breakfast was tasty and the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip - thank you
- Donna (10/5): Wonderful little b&b - Beautiful b&b, 2 mins walk from the main square. The owner Kim was the perfect hostess, couldn’t have done more for us. Breakfast was such a treat, real attention taken to make sure we had everything we could want. Kim took the time to show us a map of the city and a few sights and places to try out!
- Megan (10/5): - Amazing trip, Kim made us feel very comfortable and welcomed, offering tips for our visit. Great location right in the center of things.
- Richard (10/5): Friendly traditional B&B in heart of Brugges - Friendly host with lots of local tips for tourists, tastefully furnished home, tasty breakfast. There is one steep flight of stairs to the rooms and bear in mind the walls are a bit thin.
- Mr M O'Neill (10/5): Brilliant b&b - The B&B was fantastically located, and inside was very modern and the best place we’ve stayed in Bruges. The owner was lovely and accommodating, and made or stay even better with tips on where to go. The little touches from chocolates to the fantastic breakfast really made the stay. We had a great nights sleep and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
