Guest Reviews
- Paula (8/5): - Location was great Was not explained about parking so I paid out of pocket for that expense
- Jared (10/5): -
- Abueida (8/5): - It was close to Vanderbilt hospital Very noisy late at night. Was not sent check in information had to call to get it and person on the phone had to keep putting me on hold to find out what to do to get me in.
- Kristin (8/5): Perfect for treatment at Vanderbilt - Vicinity to Vanderbilt The property is perfect. The bed is horrible and the couch could use some new cushions.
- Eric (10/5): Great location, clean, comfortable, safe. - Great location. Comfortable and clean. Responsive staff reached by phone when elevator failed to work. Don't like paying extra for parking. I consider getting "nickled and dimed." THe parking lot was empty and yet we had to pay extra. Didn't like getting routed through a call center when I tried to get help for the broken elevator (only access into the building) but was able to get a fairly quick call back from a local manager who was helpful. Strongly recommend providing door code access to side stairwell exit in case elevator malfunction.
- Olivia (10/5): -
- William (9/5): Wonderful - Location
- Danny (1/5): After staying at another Mint location would not recommend this one at Hillsboro Village - Nothing Very noisy area.Loud music from a nightclub next door. Place isn’t clean or kept up. Unit 319 kitchen isn’t stocked for preparing food. Entrance door malfunctioned & locked us out. Called about it, no one came. Wasn’t repaired the next day either. Would not recommend!
- Jeff (4/5): Would never stay there again - It was clean It was not the property shown on Booking. Very disappointing. Neighborhood was very loud band playing.
- Leanne (5/5): - The location The parking garage key fob was not where it was supposed to be. It took almost an hour to resolve with the help phone/on-site staff.
There were hairs in the bathtub.
- rodgers (8/5): Great location at a great rate - Location to vanderbilt and restaurants A bit noisy at night but was fine
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Abby (8/5): Would stay here again! - Location was good. Privacy was nice. Decor, set up was great. Issues with door code at check in and had to call several times to get someone to come up
to fix it.
A lot of noise from the ambulances arriving at Vanderbilt than expected.
- Yashawanth (6/5): Good location, space, but noisy AC - ample space, was perfect for my work location. But unnecessary issues that makes the stay unpleasant AC noise is really bad, which disturbs the sleep! They had provided ear plugs but thats not comfortable, fix the noise!
main hall light wasn’t working as well tv remote. I was in unit 304.
no ground staff support, all remote or online
- Devin (7/5): -
- Kristin (6/5): - Very noisy Sounds like rats running around in the ceiling. Would recommend getting that looked at. Scratching noises in the bedroom all night long. Bed and couch need to be updated
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): Comfort and convenience - Block away from Vanderbilt Hospital
- Yu Tzu (10/5): - Very clear instructions to check in. The room space is great and clean. Facilities are not new but very considered and working well.
- Fidel (10/5): - Its location was great . Nothing, it was great.
- Wheeler (6/5): Great location but disappointing overall. - The location was excellent - across the street to Vanderbilt and easy access to downtown. Our stay did not start off well as our door code did not work. We did the online food order offered by Mint and it never appeared even after repeated contacts with Mint staff. The parking is a real pain as you have to go to your room to get a FOB to open the garage door. Our room faced the road and was very close to the hospital so it was loud - they did provide earplugs and a mask which was helpful. The furniture, overall facility could be updated and the hallway carpets need to be replaced immediately.
- CHARRON (8/5): - Great value, nice accommodations, great location.
We had to call to get our check in email instructions. Great communication experience until the day of. Skimpy kitchen. Still a great place overall. Would book again
- Mark (7/5): Decent Stay - Convenient to where we needed to go. There was a group of people partying in the parking, drinking and playing music until 3:00 AM,and it scared my wife. She didn't feel safe. We had no issues and everything was fine.
- Shannon Marie (8/5): - Great location. Its nice having laundry in the unit. Sheets, blankets and towels did not seem clean.
- Ellyn (6/5): - Great kitchen if you plan on cooking
Couch was broken and I mentioned this and no comment. They were very responsive, otherwise to all communications .
- Douglas (7/5): Good place and location for price but needs a little work - Location and space A bit loud hearing cross walk go off throughout night. Could use some upgrades. Shower water converter should be replaced and living room couch was saggy
- Kelley (9/5): Charming urban apartment. - The view was great and the location is close in to downtown and other attractions. Very noisy. You can clearly hear the beep of the crosswalk constantly. Ear plugs were helpfully supplied, but only 1 pair for 2 guests.
- Amanda (10/5): Convenient short walk to Vanderbilt Hospital for tests and appointments. - Comfortable convenient clean Nothing negative to say
Loved it
- Amanda (10/5): Comfortable, clean, convenient, always able to reach help when needed will continue to book here. - Walking distance to Vanderbilt Hospital 3rd stay in the past month, having tests and appointments at Vanderbilt. I have nothing negative to say about the property
- livy (10/5): - Second time staying at The Mint House and we absolutely love it there!!
- Lingyu (2/5): - No tv internet
- Joseph (7/5): -
- Kristin (10/5): Overall a good place to stay, close to shops - We had trouble finding the door/parking to enter the building. The balcony faces a liquor store and nightclub so it’s not quiet. Other than that the inside was wonderful and walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants.
- Joseph (6/5): - Clean and tidy, but road noise inside the unit was significant. Not sure if its a window issue or simpky a busy roadway. Heard mufflers, street racing, motorcycles, sirens all night.
- Amanda (10/5): Comfort and convenience - Comfort and the ease to get to Vanderbilt Hospital
- Croft (9/5): Wonderful - Peaceful
- Robbin (8/5): - Location was great!
- Davida (8/5): - Description said high-end, but other than the kitchen, it felt a little weathered. Make sure to do the email verification at least one day before check-in. Unlike other properties, it's not automated. In our case, we had to call customer service to get our access code. Didn't like seeing a mouse trap in the closet and knowing it's there for a reason. Kind of odd that each unit includes an assigned parking space, but you still have to pay for it. However, the location and area amenities made up for these issues.
- Valentina (8/5): Very good - Nice location. It was very useful to have a kitchen and a laundry room. I loved the fact that there was a bath. It was easy to get in, but no interaction with the staff (you get in with a code). Too bright at night. It would be good to install blockout blinds. The air conditioning was also really noisy.
- trittbalzer (8/5): Wedgewood Ave / Vanderbilt apartment - The location is great - easy walk to Vanderbilt or Music Row, and less than 10 minute drive to Broadway, SoBro, Gulch, etc. Apartment was perfect size for our family of 4, and access was easy.
Do be aware that the street outside is a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper and 1 or 2 people will sleep on a less-than-plush couch / pull out.
- Jbmorton83 (10/5): Exceptional - The place was amazing. A little studio apartment room The door to the balcony needed to be repaired so to a latch issue, but otherwise nothing wrong
- K (10/5): A wonderful overnight stay and CMA Fest experience. - The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A nice and clean kitchen includes all that you would need with utensils, dishes, and cookware. The location has cute shops, food and drink all within walking distance. Note the shops close early on Sundays and most open at 10am. I was able to get a late check out for Noon. They were gracious to note we needed extra time to exit the parking garage. So even though we had turned in our parking pass and checked out, I had no worries of getting towed. It might be a tight fit for some vehicles, but I highly recommend getting their parking pass for their underground parking garage. It is very convenient to enter with the key fob and elevator access. Raining upon our checkout, it was nice to wait in the garage for the mechanic that is also located within walking distance. We had a comfortable and wonderful overnight stay. I expected city sounds. So not really a gripe, just a heads up for any future renters. They did provide complimentary ear plugs and eye mask on each of the night stands, a very thoughtful touch.
- Brenda (8/5): - Very nice place, comfortable and cozy. It was pretty busy and noisy with the outside traffic and roof top bar across the parking lot but I love the location because it was close to little shops and eating places so the noise was expected. The only real complaint I have is the keurig didn’t work but there was a coffee shop within walking distance so it was fine.
- Bruce (10/5): - This property was so easy to find. Parking was secure. The unit was clean and well maintained. There were so many restaurants all within walking distance and so close to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
- Amanda (8/5): - A week long stay. It was clean and had all the thing's we needed. A little noisy at night but thats a given considering the location. It was a good place to stay. And the customer service was very helpful when i couldnt get the code to the door to work. Thanks.
- M6716BJstephanieo (10/5): I’ll be back! - Great location, easy instructions to access, beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend! I’ll be back!
- Charlie (9/5): Superb - Huge space with great on site facilities including a big kitchen and washer dryer.
- Brent (8/5): - First there was no remote for the TV, they instructed me to go next door and get one from another apartment. No big deal. Then when I got the remote from the other apartment, it was not in good condition. The button presses would register numerous times. In addition the TV is extremely old and the interface is very very slow. It took forever to get to where you wanted. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken and there were a little bit of mold that were not cleaned in the shower overall, it is a good central location, but very noisy fire trucks went up and down the street the whole time I was there which is right outside the door. Not a bad place, but I would not stay there again.
- Deborah (10/5): - Easy to access, very quaint, great communication from manager, answered any questions leading up to my stay. Will definitely be using Mint House again😁
- 186muriellew (10/5): Great location! - Great location with plenty of restaurants close by and the bus stop really close.
It was a bit loud because of the hospital being so close.
Comfy bed and fluffy pillows. The pullout couch was a bit uncomfortable.
- Deborah (9/5): It’s a very nice place! - We stayed there due to the proximity to the hospital, but it was a very comfortable place to stay for any purpose. The mattresses will need replacing soon.
- Lisa (9/5): The apartment was well equipped and the location was perfect for our trip. It is in a nice area with good restaurants ne - The apartments location is in a nice area and only a bus ride away from broadway. Clean and comfortable for 2 people, reasonably priced and I would book again The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. Obviously with the hospital so close the noise from the ambulance was a bit annoying but got used to it
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place Street/cars were loud
- livy (10/5): - Absolutely loved everything about this place. It was super clean and in the perfect spot. We will be back!!
- Napier (8/5): Very good - Being close to the hospital. I didn't have anything I didn't like
- Jacob (10/5): - It was amazing other then a chair collapsing under my wife.
- Robin (6/5): - Instructions of entering building and parking vague. Unit was very clean, balcony was nice but it overlooked a busy parking lot. Balcony door would not close enough to lock it. Sofa bed was comfortable to sleep on but very uncomfortable to sit on. would be nice to have another chair or recliner. Needed more assortment of cookware and eating utensils. Faulty smoke detector in another room resulted in fire department visit when local staff did not arrive promptly.
- Terry (10/5): It was a good overnight. Stay while we were going to Vanderbilt Hospital. - Very clean also very spacious and well decorated Nothing
- philippe (8/5): - This was a fantastic apartment in a great location. Only reason I gave 3 stars for comfort was because of the very well worn sofa bed. Needs replacing for sure. But if the master bed is all you need then you have it at made! Highly recommended!
- Bubintn (8/5): Very good - Comfort and easy check in location very convenient. Confusion about where to park. Halways weren't clean. Lack of distinction of entrance. Few name signs.
- Gareth (10/5): Excellent stay, highly recommended - First time in Nashville and would definitely stay here again. Very clean and well appointed apartment. Didn’t use kitchen appliances but had everything needed. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious. Stayed here with a friend but would bring family here without hesitation. Communication during build up to stay was excellent and check-in procedure was sent, as promised, 24 hours before arrival. Parking in underground car park was reasonably priced and extremely convenient.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Nathanial (5/5): Won’t stay again. Too noisy - Clean property Amenities did not work. Since the apartment is next to a main city street. We heard sirens all through the night and into the early morning hours. Got zero sleep.
- Anonymous (10/5): Nice apartment and close to the hospital - Clean Road noise
- Ava (10/5): It was great - It was beautiful, clean, perfect size, and great location. That I couldn’t stay longer
- Martin (6/5): - Minimal kitchen utensils. Lacked frying pans and baking sheets.
- Paul (8/5): - I have to give this property mixed reviews. Communication with Mint House people was excellent. They responded immediately to calls and were very helpful. We stayed in a studio. Cleanliness was average. Bathroom was very clean as well as the linens. The sofa needed cleaning and the room needed a good dusting. The kitchen had everything we needed with a nice coffee pot. All appliances were in good shape. Overall the property needed a good update with hallway carpeting showing a great deal of wear and the walls are ready to be painted. Communication was excellent.
- stephaniewX3012GM (10/5): Great location. - Excellent location to Vanderbilt hospital. Good neighborhood with plenty of dining options in walking distance. Very clean apartment and great communication with the host. Street noise is a bit loud until 11pm but host provides "sleep pack" to help. :)
- Kristen (2/5): - We enjoyed the location with dining right below and all around as well as shopping. Unfortunately, it is on a busy corner and you hear EVERYTHING, all day and all night long! No way to get a good nights sleep here, if that’s what you are looking for. The space is a good use for a one bedroom but the couch is old, beat up and nasty with stains. The only carpet in the space is located in the bedroom and it is stained horribly and we didn’t want to even step on it without shoes on. The main door had to be slammed to close properly and was often unsecured when we made it back to the apartment. Aside from that, the kitchen was large and stocked with all the little things we may have needed and the place was clean for the most part. Lastly, the bathroom is nice sized but the shower is tiny!!! If you are over 6ft tall, you WILL NOT FIT in the shower or bathtub in this unit.
- Clémence (6/5): Ok - Proximity to the bus station to Downtown/Broadway. Reactivity/helpfulness of the Client Support. Underground parking, although it costs 25$ per night (still much cheaper than anywhere around and we were not afraid of parking a couple of blocks away). The apartment was dirty when we entered: hairs in the bathroom, food on the floor, earring clasp on the night stand and even a fake nail on the floor… We contacted the client support and they offered us to switch to a new room, which we appreciated.
- Angela (10/5): - We had a very nice stay. The room was very nice and neat and comfortable.
- Dan (8/5): The property was very comforting and filled all our needs. - Loved the location and amenities (especially the balcony). Awesome to have a full kitchen. Road noise, but that can’t be helped.
Shower was difficult to operate.
- Francis (10/5): We loved the Mint House-will definitely recommend and return! - The location and accessibility are great! Exiting the parking deck we had to get out of our car to push button!
- Tiarra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nadine (10/5): - Great location next to shopping and dining options. Spacious apartment with convenient parking. Easy communication with leasing office.
- Meiling (10/5): - This property is within walking distance to so much dining and shopping options. The apartment itself is easy to access and has great amenities. It's very clean and comfortable. Definitely will book again when we return to Nashville!
- Baker (10/5): Nice place - It was very clean. Very nice place. The only thing we did not like was the smell in the hallway. Very bad smell. Just glad you could not smell it in the room..
- Katherine (8/5): Very good - Location is great. Pleasant space to be in. They really need to up their game on the sofa beds. Really not comfortable at all to sleep on. So not really a place for more than 2 people.
- Hayes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (2/5): Seriously don’t stay here - Impossible to find, entrance is a back alleyway. Smells like trash outside right next to massive dumpsters. Inside smells like mold. Carpets stained. Hair all over bathroom. Did not stay once I saw it and they refuse to give me my money back. No human there, have to check in and get help via 1-800 number from people that aren’t anywhere in the area.
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Freda (10/5): Very convenient to Vanderbilt Hospital - Everything
- M319KNjasonh (8/5): Spacious & clean space - The clean and spacious apartment exceeded my expectations. I chose this place due to its location... convenient for my business needs. There are a few minor drawbacks. Parking is expensive. The carpeting in the bedroom was dated and looked dirty (but it was clean). The nearby hospital results in a lot of ambulance noise. I believe I would stay here again should I return to the area.
- Marylee (10/5): - Loved the spiral staircase and balcony! Absolutely enjoyed our time staying here!
- CAROLYN (10/5): - This is a great spot for a quick trip to Nashville. We have a son graduating in Dallas next month and we’re going consider Mint properties for that trip as well. This place was clean, well stocked, walkable to lots of things we’re interested in. We come to Nashville frequently and this location is on the list of places to stay again.
- Donald (10/5): - Our second time to stay here. We will be back for continued medical care at Vanderbilt and the location and accommodations are perfect.
- Jason C (8/5): Great location and very clean - My room was very comfortable, and quieter than I expected. The entire place was very clean and well-furnished. My largest complaint, and it is minor, is the $25 fee for overnight parking. I also did not care for the carpeting… dated and shows lots of dirt.
- Howard (10/5): Great stay - Easy and close to Vanderbilt hospital. Our accommodation had all we needed
- Freda (10/5): Exceptional -
- DANIEL (10/5): - Perfect for a nice getaway!
- Taylor (10/5): - We appreciated the preparation ahead of time, as well as the location and ease of parking
- CAROLINE (10/5): - The little balcony was a wonderful surprise!
I enjoyed the view. All my needs were met except dryer sheets.
- sferguson0321 (6/5): Love the location near Vanderbuilt University and great shopping area! - The location was great, and loved the apartment atmosphere. However, had many issues with door lock on front door. Overall, was nice; however, there is other repairs needed. I addressed to them that is need of repair. Would stay here again after repairs.
- Cynthia (10/5): Fun place to stay! - What a treat! A whole apartment! Great location, secure parking, easy to understand directions! We will sure be back!
- Terry (6/5): Cool stay - Toilet handle was getting stuck
- Glenn (10/5): - Great location and value
- Sherry (8/5): Great location & nice place to stay - Its nice nice place to stay. Love the big kitchen. Had a few issues with the place and repairs needed. But overall was a nice place. The spiral staircase is alittle tricky to get to bedroom upstairs, wish they provided a tv upstairs.
- Ava (10/5): - I can’t say enough about this stay. Wonderful and comfortable from the amazing size of the apartment, to the ease of access and communication of the management.
The staff were greatly accommodating to our specific needs. Also, the main bedroom bed was beyond comfortable… This says a lot coming from me as I am quite picky.
Thank you so very much.
- petrip722 (8/5): Visitor from Sweden.. - It was nice and clean.
The bed was nice and I slept well.
Little bit low on cutlery and plates if you are several people visiting in the same room, But that was not a problem for me since I travelled alone this time.
I will come back if I can because I liked the place.
- Donald (10/5): - Loved the proximity to the medical center, the convenient underground parking, the nearby restaurants and the lovely accommodations. We have already booked another stay at the Mint House.
