• JIANLIN (10/5): Best hotel for couples in TEL Aviv - The service is great. We arrived very late that night, and the lady (named Vera, if we spell correctly) is so sweet and warmly welcome us and shared with us all the information we need for the hotel. The location is good too, with only 5-min walking distance to the bus stops and 15-min to the Carmel market. There are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby as well, very convenient. Unlimited free wines is really a bonus. The rooftop is a must to in the evening. Nope, everything is more than perfect.

• Onal (9/5): - Breakfast was awesome and included egg dishes, a variety of breads, fresh vegetables, fruit salad, lots of cheeses, granola, etc. They had a coffee machine that could make any kind of coffee, a tea selection, fruit juices, and free wine all day from a curated selection. The staff was extremely nice and helpful in any way they could. There was a terrace on the 4th floor where one could relax with wine, tea and noshes. The room was also very nice with a really good bed and a relaxing shower. Oh, also the location is really close to all sorts of restaurants, shops, galleries, etc.

• tracyb484 (10/5): The only hotel to stay at in Tel Aviv - I cannot speak highly enough of my stay at the Vera Hotel. I was originally meant to stay for three nights to watch my son run the TA marathon, but as soon as the troubles began I had to extend my stay. The hotels staff were incredibly supportive and helpful with all their guests making sure we could get to the safe room when the sirens went off. This happened at least a dozen times throughout the night. In addition nothing was too much trouble including assisting with obtaining additional medication for an extended stay. The hotel offers free tea and coffee and a selection of Israeli wines 24/7 with snacks. Its location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping and visiting great sites. I cannot recommend it more highly enough. Well done the Vera and thank you for looking after me and the rest of your lovely guests.

Location is unbeatable and I also like the self-serving coffee and wine they have available Room layout is SO bad (i’m an interior designer), I tried booking a better room category, it’s a larger room but wasted sqm which gives you nothing more. Bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. Nightlife noise will accopany you every night and especially on the weekends. Bathroom is so omoist and humid all day, no good airing system there.. My stay was very uncomfortable

• 955naomih (10/5): Ok, let's talk about the breakfast... - After having a very poor experience at a cheap-y pod-style hotel, I splurged to stay at The Vera. An oasis in the middle of Neve Tzedek, there are tons of restaurants, shops, and sites all easily walkable. Only about 12 minutes to the beach as well. The lobby seconds as the breakfast room which brings me to the best part of staying at The Vera...the breakfasts. Now I've done my fair share of hotel breakfasts in Israel and abroad, but this one stands out. Almost everything is healthy with the occasional pastry: fresh vegetables, fruit, freshly squeezed juices, eggs, homemade breads, chia pudding, yogurt with all the toppings. It's very easy for vegans and omnivores alike to have a great breakfast and face the day! The rooms were comfortable and clean, they offer yoga on the weekends on the rooftop and the staff were all so sweet. Israel is expensive, full stop. At least you feel like you're getting value at The Vera.

We chose The Vera to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, and from the very beginning everything felt thoughtful and special. The staff is absolutely outstanding: kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you for the welcome cocktail in our room and the lovely handwritten note for our anniversary — a small gesture that meant a lot. Our room on the lower floor with a private garden was small but beautifully designed. The garden is a real gem, peaceful and intimate. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. The only small downside: the toilet being inside the bathroom, which doesn’t offer much privacy — but honestly, that’s the only minor issue in an otherwise perfect room. The hotel itself is wonderful. The breakfast is excellent, and the fact that wine, coffee, and other drinks/snacks are available all day in the lobby is such a treat. The rooftop is incredibly relaxing, as is the downstairs terrace — perfect places to unwind. The neighborhood is great, central but calm, and ideal for exploring Tel Aviv. This hotel is perfect for couples and romantic stays. We will definitely be back, without any hesitation. A truly special place.

• ryanvF2702OY (10/5): A great hotel with amazing staff. - The Vera hotel is excellent for a fraction of the cost of the competition you get a full and diverse breakfast a very nice and functional room while still being only a few blocks from the beach and 20mins from the central train station. And the staff are incredible, with endless recommendations and are open to any questions you may have of the local scenery or restaurants.

From the moment we arrived (earlier in the morning, hours before check-in time) Nir at the reception was kind and ready to welcome us. Thank you Nir for your kindness throughout our stay at the Vera hotel. Tip: Ask Nir for food/coffee recommendations. We loved every place that he told us about! Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help or tips for the best ways to get around the city or reach your destination. There are several different neighborhoods and markets to explore that are walking distance and Nir directed us on how to arrive to where we wanted to go and saved us a lot of time. Also, he told us about places we might like to explore and we really enjoyed them. Everyone there is very nice; Anna and Vera were also wonderful to us. Also, thank you to Vera for making us a last minute dinner reservation. The hotel itself is really nice and we greatly appreciated the little details such as the fully equipped coffee machine and delicious teas that are available all the time in the reception area. (Along with the wine) We also enjoyed playing their backgammon one evening. As everyone has mentioned, the breakfast is great. The location of the hotel is wonderful. We really enjoyed getting to use the bikes one day to go to the beach! Just know that the bikes are popular with guests and unfortunately they aren’t always available. This hotel checks all the boxes. I would definitely stay here again!

Across from North Abraxas and down the street from the Mesilah. Would definitely recommend this hotel. My only complaint is the scent in the lobby. It smells like men's cologne and is far too strong. • Susan (10/5): My new favorite hotel! - The hotel is stylish yet warm feeling, it is perfect for work, you can grant a coffee and work in in the lobby or garden, lots of quiet spots but I was traveling as a couple and the room was sexy and romantic, again very stylish , gorgeous bath tub, wonderful shower, great pressure, and the bath products were so nice. There is an unlimited open wine bar as well as an unlimited coffee etc with sweet and savory snacks. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, warm from the oven foccacia, cinnamon rolls, and bread pudding, delicious eggs, smoke salmon etc., and an ice bucket in our room with gin mead which I had never had before and it was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. I have traveled to 32 countries for work and/or pleasure and this is without a doubt my favorite hotel. Honestly everything was great, I was sad to leave

Steps away from the bustle, but located on a beautiful, quiet street. Every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and friendly without being cloying.
