Guest Reviews
- Vandana (9/5): -
- Pretima (7/5): Perfect spot for visiting caves - Excellent location 5 min walk to caves so you could get early start come back for lunch rest during heat of day and return in the afternoon, Ni transport required
Room and grounds looked over the caves. Garden was nice with native birds and pleasant sitting areas
Restaurant food was good with attentive staff
Office staff were helpful to organise transport Probably needs a refresh
Our room was very hot AC was not working properly
- Jane (6/5): Basic, moderately clean. - The location is only 100m from the entrance to the Ellora Caves For the standard of accommodation, it was overpriced. You’re paying for convenience of location.
- Karel (5/5): Street food much safer than eating at the hotel. - Location Horible food experience. I do not recommend anyone to eat at the hotel restaurant. Tastless food which made me ill at a rediculous price.
- Albert (10/5): Good location, good value for price - Perfect location to visit Ellora caves
- Andreas (7/5): -

- C. Luke (7/5): -
- Donal (8/5): Had a great time - Proximity to Ellora and lovely outdoors Little tired but sweet

- Robin (7/5): Close to the caves, but a bit expensive for what you get. - Nicely located close to the caves.
Rooms are spacious, nice beds. It’s a bit old and (some) bungalows are a bit old and not really up to date. The terrace wasn’t really clean.
Maybe an upgrade would be good!
It’s not cheap, probably the location and the demand make it more expensive.
- YOGESH (6/5): Overall a decent stay - Location is good - Food quality is so bad
- Facility and equipments inside the rooms are very very limited for the price charged
- Sam (5/5): 3 nights in the Kailas hotel - The location.
Beautiful garden and grounds No comfortable space to sit outside the room.
Bed was just too hard.
WiFi did not reach the room.
- pascale (4/5): Très très bruyant. A éviter - Grande chambre propre. Trop trop bruyant. A côté d'une 4 voies. Pas isolé.
Klaxons toute la nuit.
Nous avons écourté notre séjour.
- Srimantha (9/5): -
- Khareghat (8/5): I would recommend this hotel short and would book again stay. - Excellent location for visiting the Kailas Temple.
Staff were very helpful.
Rooms were very good Early morning (5am)very loud bells prayer noise from nearby temple. NOT HOTELS FAULT
- Manuel (9/5): - Hotel hyper bien situé. Wifi payant au bout de 3h.
Vétusté des toilettes
- Sören (7/5): - Nähe zum Eingang der historischen Höhlen von Ellora. Warme Dusche. Gutes Restaurant vorhanden. Hätte sauberer sein können. Im Bad hatten die Wände dicke Patina.
- Jhoomuck (6/5): -
- Mrinnal (6/5): Good property but owners have no empathy. - It is near to Ellora caves entry. Their restaurant was so crowded by the outside people I didn’t get a seat there.
Also I requested them to arrange a pair of sleeper (either new or used one) as I had lost one of my saddle bags on the way but they declined. I had to explore Ellora caves in my riding boot, it was painful.
- Debajyoti (9/5): -
- Marilee (10/5): Excellent stay - I was surprised how much I loved this place based on prior negative reviews. As an international traveler I feel it's important to have good expectations. Lots of negative statements about internet. While true it's not 100% reliable but you are staying at ellora caves-a remote location. We stayed 3 nights hand had 3 different rooms because we failed to book ahead for all 3 nights on a holiday weekend. Our bad! Management dis a great job of accommodating us to the best of their availability and staff was super about moving our bags. The bungalows are by far the best and the extra 500 rupees for one with a view of the caves is well worth the price. Having a little sanctuary during the crazy busy holiday weekend was priceless. Ate at the hotel restaurant a few times as they offered room service to that lovely room with a view. Good food and a nice variety. Excellent service from staff members. Lovely green space for all and a great place for kids as saw many families enjoying the lawns and playground.
The room we stayed the 2nd night was cheap and cheerful. Older and no A/c and price reflected that. I enjoyed the upgraded rooms (bungalows) way better. Worth the extra and way more comfortable beds.
Saw reviews that said not too clean and I feel that was incorrect for all 3 rooms we stayed in. - i think offering a free breakfast option and maybe even a price for both breakfast and dinner would be good.
-10 am checkout was too early for us but still relatively new to India so perhaps standard here. Would suggest offering a late checkout option.
-hard beds in the cheapest room category

- Devarajan (8/5): -
- Durgabhavani (6/5): I like the location and greenery - The location and green area surrounding the room was very good The room looks very old.The staff were not friendly enough
- Vincent (9/5): excellent stay - Excellent location close to the entrance of the caves of Ellora. The bungalows are very pleasant and nice.
- Pandya (1/5): I will not recommend the hotel at all, lacks, cares less, - Local close to Thw Ellora Caves, excellent.Service very poor, cleanliness lacking. Manager didnot care as long as the hotel made money due to its location. Exorbitant charge for what it should deliver.
- Harpreet (5/5): An average hotel - Located on the main road and very close to the Ellora caves entrance. Spacious rooms in the Cottages. Quick and efficient kitchen with good food. Poorly maintained bathroom of the Cottage, smelly toilets in the main building, poorly maintained dining hall.
- Roopa (7/5): -

The greenery around the room is awesome The rooms are quite old now

- Tailor (8/5): - It's very close to the caves in fact you can see them from the hotel There was a problem with WiFi
- Krishna (9/5): Good - Location is great .
Specially like the open space inside the property.
One suggestion to property owner - grineswar temple surrounding is full of garbage . Could the property owner take any initiative to make the entire temple surrounding clean as its not about only earning money because of tourism/spiritual significance but take every possible steps to make the place vibrant The restaurant inside the property is over priced .
One single omlet in 100rs!!!!!
- Priyadarshini (9/5): -
- Akash_Raj (5/5): - Location and property Room hygiene
- kanak (7/5): - Location
- Girish (7/5): Rooms away from central area can be made better. - Location Facilities
- Soumyajyoti (9/5): A must place to stay for all who visits Ellora Caves. - Perfect location, only 4 mins walk from the entrance to the Ellora Caves. The property has lots of open green space and cottages well spaced offering privacy. The cottage itself was spacious with a open balcony. Rooms are also made up tastefully. Very friendly and courteous staff.

- Gaurav (2/5): - Location Rooms were dirty, staff was rude.
- sandip (8/5): - Very near to Ellora caves
- Georg (9/5): -
- Priyanka (10/5): Huge garden, total value for money - An excellently well-maintained property. Total value for money. It was serene and just a couple of steps from the Ellora caves and Grishneshwar temple. We stayed in the cave-view cottages - it was big enough for three adults and a child. Everything was nice but having a mini fridge would have been helpful as we needed one for keeping an insulin pen for my mum and milk for my child.
- Alice (7/5): -
- Jainu (7/5): Satisfied - Location is excellent. You can park your car and walkable distance to to Ellora caves entrance Spacious and clean

- Párkányi (10/5): - Private little house right next to ellora caves Had some issues with room wifi.
- Debasish (2/5): - Best location, but amenities are extremely poor. Everything is messy. it needs a big investment for upgrade Amenities
- Debasish (3/5): - Need to improve a lot to make it uptodate Amenities in and outside of the room
- Moti Lal (8/5): Value for Money. - Location. Staff and natural surroundings make it a good place to stay on a short visit. The site needs overall development. it feels like work-in-progress. The site has immense potential for a world class hotel.
- Maria Cristina (9/5): Personale gentilissimo e stanze molto pulite. Posizione fantastica e scimmiette nel giardino ;) -
- Dignesh (3/5): -
- Alice (8/5): - They recommended an amazing pick up and drop off service with Mr Taqui and is son Mr. Mohsin. They were amazing.

- Sathya (8/5): Very good -
- Ravi (8/5): Very good -
- Haresh (4/5): hotel kailas temple sambhaji nagar - near to the samriddhi express way about 15kms away from city closer to the famous gruneshwar temple one of the 12 jyotirlings and the famous rock cut kailasa temple ample of parking booking. com show room with cheap rates and when u go there room has no airconditioner and at the very far end so you left with two choice cancel or book a new room at higher the cost and then no breakfast
