He giv - The location is perfect which is just at the center of Phuket Patong area near to Bangla road. Right in front of the property there is many shops and restaurants even Seven Eleven. It is very budget friendly. I liked the property but if you have many heavy luggages then you might have problems taking it upstairs because there is no elevator but they helped me to carry my luggage.

• Joanna (10/5): A great stay, highly recommended - 5 min on foot from Bangla and yet super quiet due to double glass in windows and shutters. Spacious and with a cleaning service daily. Provides toiletries and mineral water daily. Equipped with a mini fridge, an electric kettle and a hairdryer. Excellent value for money. Plus a super nice and helpful owner. A wonderful guest house :) I would provide more comfortable pillows as the ones I had in my room were very hard. I would also suggest that the receptionist (not the owner, the other man that is always at the reception) smiles more and is friendlier. He seemed very grumpy each time I saw him, would always sit with his nose in his phone ;) and once didn't even reply when I said hello ;) It wasn't a big deal, it's kind of funny, but I can imagine that it could be a bit offputting for some guests.

• William (10/5): Absolutely the best place I have stayed in Patong - Very friendly staff. Excellent location in the centre of Patong but off the main road - so quiet at night. Super clean and comfortable room. I have been to Patong a few times. I don't much like the town but it is convenient for the airport. But this accommodation is the best I ever stayed in and I would certainly come back! The accommodation was excellent. The local area was 'interesting' but felt safe.

• Aleksandar (10/5): Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt – zentrale Lage, absolute Ruhe, tolle Unterkunft und ein extrem freundlicher Host. Ich w - Die Lage ist absolut perfekt: super zentral, nur wenige Minuten zur Bangla Road und ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand – und trotzdem nachts extrem ruhig. Direkt um die Ecke gibt es 7-Eleven, Wäscherei und zahlreiche Restaurants. Das Zimmer war schön, sehr sauber und aufgeräumt, mit täglichem Zimmerservice, frischem Wasser jeden Tag und regelmäßig gewechselten Handtüchern. Besonders positiv fand ich die hygienische Regel, im Haus die Schuhe auszuziehen. Der Host bzw. Besitzer war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Zusätzlich gab es sogar ein Strandhandtuch. Insgesamt habe ich mich rundum wohlgefühlt – mitten im Geschehen und dennoch ruhig. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die zentral in Patong wohnen möchten. Ehrlich gesagt gab es nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hat. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war durchweg positiv und ich habe mich jederzeit wohlgefühlt. Ich würde diese Unterkunft ohne Zögern wieder buchen.

I asked for a needle and thread and they kindly brought them to me. They also let me leave my luggage with them for a couple of hours after check-out, as my flight was later, and explained how to get to the airport for 100 baht. They even asked if I needed the room cleaned and if I wanted more water. Thank you for the great service!

Les hôtes sont gentils, le ménage est fait tous les jours avec bouteilles d'eau et tout l'équipement nécessaire. A noter quelques travaux d'amélioration avec une entrée plus moderne avec un matelas tout neuf très confortable. La recette est bonne merci à vous.

• Chris (9/5): Great base for my stay with easy access to everything - Le Tanjong House is a lovely guesthouse about 10 minutes from the busy Bangla Road area. The room itself was spacious and clean with plenty of storage space. The shower and bathroom was good too but a little tight at times as I am 6"4 and a bit stocky. Access was good even late at night and always felt very secure. It is set off the main road and wasn't too noisy. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Price was very competitive too. Nothing at all

The locality was overall calm and quiet. The owner goes out of his way to help you and keep up the sanity of the place. He is very particular about cleanliness and guest etiquette - which is a good thing for guests. NA - everything was good considering the price of the property.

The beach is close, Bangla Road is close, the mall is within walking distance Everything you need is within walking distance This is my third time staying here. There is another wall in front of the window. With some kind of shutters that I don't think it open and prevent natural light from entering the room. It wasn't an inconvenience for me, but I would have preferred a little natural light. I didn't stay in the room during the day anyway

• Mohammed (10/5): Incredible value-for-money, in fact the best value for money hotel I've ever stayed in. - Excellent location, full facilities you would expect in a place 5 times this price (e.g. huge room, emperor bed, safe, fridge, desk, TV, A/C, en-suite bathroom, kettle, cleanliness). 2 free bottles of water provided each day. Very quiet at night and mattress was really comfortable. Very cheap and efficient laundry services available next door to the building. Close to all amenities and beach only 10 minutes walk away. The owner even supplied a beach towel every other day over my long stay. Joined Fitness Hero (only 12 minute walk away and substantially better than any hotel gym) and used the Andaman Sea for swimming so no need for expensive on-site facilities a hotel provides. Massive choice of cost effective food places to eat in the area. Very minor issues. The power sockets only provided a trickle of power (charged iPhone and toothbrush if left on all night but wouldn't charge iPad). No elevator but I was in room 2 which only meant a climb to 1st floor, not a problem for me but a note to anyone else who might need assistance. Shower head not adjustable. No balcony or window view but this is a 2 star hotel!
