Kolobe (9/5): Beautiful and hospitable guest house. Great value for money. - Rooms were very nice and warm which was a plus. Bloemfontein is very cold. And at reception when I indicated I needed to leave before 07h00, they offered a packed breakfast - sandwich, fruit, muffin and a yorghurt. I would highly recommend the place Everything was just as the doctor ordered.

Armandina (10/5): Absolutely Brilliant! - We were so surprised! Arrived at nearly 9pm, met with such warmth and friendliness. Our room was great, and because we missed dinner, a snack basket was freshly prepared for us. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again!

Toka (10/5): Luxurious weekend - Everything about Monte is amazing. Care taker, receptionist, Chef, waitress Kaitlyn specifically. Ladys who clean al of them are way too kind and care so much. You can see that they like their jobs. Not only do they engage with us, but also ensure that you get the assistance you need. The place is way too beautiful, so luxurious. Nothing. Only the road that goes there when it rains is slippery if not driving well or your car is too small might stuck.

The hostess was super friendly and the room was everything we needed. We traveled with our two small dogs and there was plenty of space for them to run around (on leashes) and enjoy the stay with us.

Substandard furniture, mattress, pillows and linen. Very noisy, light shines through celling and very busy throughout the night. Conference furniture left in the hallways. Second reception was a mess, and back-of-house staff clean-up area open to guests and very noisy. They felt unprepared for the extra guests, so the sleeping area and set-up was unprofessional.
