Terrible experience in a "trap"*
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The room was tiny and looked like a caravan, detached from the rest of the complex and located in the middle of the snow. As we entered, snow was brought inside and, with no space to store our luggage, our belongings got wet. The room was also extremely uncomfortable: bunk beds that left very little space to stand up. Esperienza terribile in una "trappo. Abbiamo prenotato 2 stanze. We booked 2 rooms. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The room was tiny and looked like a caravan, detached from the rest of the complex and located in the middle of the snow. The owners also used it as their storage and kept sauna equipment and other stuff in it, which we tried to move but they brought it back and scolded us with a very rude note. They could have told us in person, considering they're not always present at the facility.

- Liza (8/5): -
- Bulby (5/5): Pleasant enough but strange setup with it having a number of long term guests who use the kitchen et - Room which we booked(boat) was changed without any notification and was the reason why we chose the hotel and while we understood the reasons we should have been told before we turned up as this would have probably made us choose somewhere else to stay.
- Zoe (10/5): Excellent base in great location - I stayed in 'Tiny House' which had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Location wise, it was a perfect location for visiting all the nearby highlights (Neuschwanstein, Zugspitze/Eibsee, Partnachklamm, as well as more hikes than i could've fit in had i stayed for a month, so definitely too many for 3 days! I did Hochplatte and Wank (dual ticket with Zugspitze). Easy to find, good parking and lovely owners with excellent English (my German is very slowly improving but its still no where near where it needs to be for a conversation, so it was very reassurring and comforting to be able to communicate in English). The bouldering wall is a huge bonus, I'd definitely recommend for this alone - although I didnt get time to use on this visit. Couldn't ask for more Nothing - everything was perfect
- Rowi (7/5): Basic but good - Nice and quiet location. Good place to eat is the Restaurant Aura nearby. Towels present but no soap. No breakfast or dinner served anymore because restaurant is permanently closed. However the previous restaurant kitchen is available to cook your own food.
- Raju (10/5): Exceptional - Close to nature! If you’re in group and planing to staying at Bavaria most recommended.
We stay for 2 nights in this property, such a great facility specially cooking facility!
The Owner was so friendly that he allowed us to use his kitchen.
We really enjoyed staying here!
We had a really great time!
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Lucie (8/5): I would for sure go back but I would check which room I am getting. - Very nice hof / pension. Very friendly and open owners, we liked the option to cook for ourselves when restaurant was not available, the boulder hall was also amazing! the rooms were really really small. No wardrobe in them. Our room was into north, very close to other building so it was very dark. Missing place where to hide stuff, no room for ski shoes or skis to get dry,
- Tommaso (8/5): Very good -
- Mahesh (9/5): Superb -
- Thayalanlrajasingh (7/5): Good -
- Frantisek (6/5): Pleasant -
- Silvia (9/5): Alpenstrasse of the road - We loved the place because it was close to main attractions but off the beaten path in a quieter location of Saulgrub which we LOVED! The space is very cozy and comfy but with room to spread out. The breakfast was great. We say the most amazing landscape and the balcony to enjoy it. I would highly recommend staying here¡ We had an issue regarding the arrival time and some info was missing but they provide a smart solution to give us the keys. Thanks guys¡
- Katharina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Artsiom (6/5): Pleasant - Good owner of the hotel. Let to heat some food on the kitchen. We rent hutter. I think that apartments are good but if talk about place we lived: not clean, not possible to prepare tea or coffee in the hutter, was not comfortable to sleep.
- Chris (8/5): Comfortable but some limitations - Very comfortable and well appointed room It's a shame that only the hotel was open and the bar only partially and the restaurant not at all, but we gathered that they couldn't get the staff
- Kimberly (9/5): Superb -
- Myles (4/5): Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so there was no breakfast available or options to eat or drink at the property. - Beautiful location and very friendly hosts. Restaurant closed down. Wasn't sure if the hotel was open when we arrived as it looked like not in use.
- Pavel (8/5): Very good - very friendly staff. Great location (closely to lake, but not so expensive like on a lake) very soft matrasses (but of course it depends who likes soft or hard)
- Ionela (10/5): Comfortable room - Very clean and comfortable. Loved the bathroom, better than standard. Balcony was nice as well. Internet could have been a bit better. A fridge would have been a great addition.
- Cristina (9/5): Superb -
- Marleen (9/5): Superb - Great value for money. Good beds, spacious hiking hut with very good facilities. Nice shower, good WiFi. The owner was very helpful and friendly! It was a bit difficult to find the entrance of both the hiking hut and the gasthaus.
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Ronald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pavankumar (9/5): We had a 1 night stay and everything was good. The host was very accomodating and was able to check in later than usual. - Accessibility.
- Susan (5/5): Passable - Nice location. Visited before with previous owners. Clean, comfortable bed. Good shower. Rather untidy and too many "knick knacks" for my liking. Strange bedroom decor. Food adequate but overpriced.
- Sudhakaran (10/5): Exceptional - We did a one night stay and it was a very nice experience.
Very nice people who runs the hotel. We had a nice stay.

- Nisha (7/5): Good -
- Sakalinskaitė (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (7/5): Good location, comfortable beds. The basics. - Good location, manager was helpful at check out, and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a little dirty, but the place had everything we needed.
- Jess (8/5): Funky Guesthouse, quirky hosts - Funky design in rooms. Nice and modern amenities in the rooms. Restaurants within the guesthouse which was nice and convenient if you don't want to travel out for dinner. Hosts were a bit intense and made me feel pressured to tip (handnt been asked to tip before in Bavaria for accommodation and we hadn't yet spent the night as we were paying night before we checked out) when I didn't tip a huge amount they were unhelpful/dismissive when I asked for information about a tourist attraction nearby.

- Karan (10/5): Amzing place and staff - Amazing place and amzing staff with alot of activities around. A bit far from Zugspitze
- Tarang (9/5): Superb -
- Girish_87 (8/5): Value for money - The owner and staff are very good and helpful
Location is just 30 mins drive from garmisch
We lived in a tiny house it was a nice concept
We had dinner at the restaurant which was great Nothing major. The bed linen could have been cleaner
- Daiane (7/5): Good -
- Manoj (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Alhasn (1/5): Bad -
- Andreas-daniel (7/5): A lodging with plenty of character and amazing food - Fantastic food at the restaurant. Choice isn't overwhelming, but the food is of amazing quality and flavor. Costs extra, but well worth the money. Excellent breakfast too (costs extra). Beds were really comfy. Possibility to play table tennis or use the bouldering facility (latter at additional cost). Bath is a little rough around the edges. Recently refurbished, but the handymen merely did an ok job. There is a wealth of interesting housing (Mongolian hut, tiny house, yacht). The owner is averse to let you use those in winter, due to the current cost of gas. Might be an idea for him to increase the price on those instead of offering flat pricing.
- Aravinda (7/5): Good -
- Usman (8/5): Very good -
- Donald (1/5): This place and people do not deserve to have a business. - Nothing , was not impressed from point of arrival, not what I have booked or would have book, but told I booked a Hut, not a Room. Every single think the owner went around looking un clean and that sett a precedence..
Can someone from booking . Com please contact me to discuss the seriousness and health and safety of customers to this property, and the was they do business.
- Iano (9/5): Cosy room with everything you need. Beautiful location. - Lovely cosy room. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean and neat. Free parking space available for your car. Located in a beautiful village. We even had a kettle in our room, which you are not very likely to get in a hotel in Europe.
- Henk (7/5): Good -
- Reynaldo (10/5): Thanks be to God for you and the people of Oberammergau passion play! - Friendliest !!!
Human touch !!! More practical transport communication and
More publicity

- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Mrs Heiland went out of her way to assist us to get to the bus station. She also upgraded us to a room inside the guesthouse. We had a lovely breakfast. The room and bathroom was spacious. It was difficult to travel to the guesthouse in the evening with public transport.
- Janice (7/5): Good -
- David (9/5): Superb - Good breakfast. I really liked the juices
- Helma (8/5): Great with an exception of the bads. - The beds were only accessible from a ladder. They are not tall enough to stand underneath them without bumping your head. For a very short or much younger people, they might be OK.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kendall (10/5): Great local hotel in a great locy - The breakfast was excellent and the location was great. We traveled to see the Passion Play in Oberammergau and this location was great. I can think of nothing, it was awesome

Very friendly staff team.
Best of all - restaurant in this guesthouse is great. Even though we could only book 1 night stay in this guesthouse, during our stay in the area, we kept returning to this restaurant.
