• Claire (10/5): Un séjour de rêve à Kyoto - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de nous retrouver dans une maison traditionnelle très bien équipée et spacieuse que nous n'occupions qu'à deux. Le quartier est calme et agréable à proximité de 2 lignes de trains et de commerces et restaurants. Rien tout était parfait
• Els (7/5): - The house is newly renovated with all what's needed in place, everything works perfectly! Because it is so new and clean it has lost a bit of the old charm of staying in a townhouse. If you want to experience the real Kyoto life, this is probably not the best place, it is located in the middle of nowhere, right next to train lanes and motorways, no restaurant or shop to buy some basic food in the near neighbourhood. You need to pick up the key at the hotel in Kyoto center first, which in our case (travelling by car) caused a bit of a hassle, but the hotel staff is very friedly and helped out with all of our requests.

• Vicky (8/5): Very good - staff were very kind and informative, they can drive you or send your luggage to the house (which is different to the check-in location). Be aware that the bedroom is on a different floor to the bathroom.

• Yumi (10/5): Best stay in my life!! - Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!!

• Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - We rented a tipycal Japanese house. It was very cozy and in a well connected position. The house was very clean. A special mention goes to the staff, they were very supportive, kind and welcoming.

• Yanne (8/5): Great value for your money! - The location was super convenient (next to Tofukuji station, easy access to Nara Line and to go to Kyoto Station), it's super nice to stay at a house instead of a hotel and the staff even drove us to the house when we arrived. Every appliance had detailed instructions in English in the guest book. Great value for money. More windows needed the bug screen so we can open them without getting eaten by mosquitoes :( (I'm not really picky but those mosquitoes are no joke) the house also smelled a bit weird (like it was closed for a while) and it gets really hot during the day.
• Vinna (8/5): Feel like at home, good location. - The facilities and equipment are fully equipped, just like at home. A lot of kitchenware is provided. The kitchen is spacious and convenient. The location is very close Tofukuji station,just need 9 minutes by walking. I discovered a strong greasy odor on the pillow, which was very uncomfortable and made me feel a bit nauseous. I hope this can be improved. Additionally, the blankets in the wardrobe were placed in a disorderly manner, as if they were stuffed in, and they fell out as soon as I opened the wardrobe door.
• Wai (9/5): Excellent stay - Nice and clean. Has a living space on the first floor with mats and table. Kitchen and toilet is well equipped, even has a nespresso machine with capsules provided. Sleeping area on second floor is also comfortable and clean. Just a 5min walk from JR train station. Provides cab transport from checkin location (which is near kyoto station) to actual accomodation (tofukuji station). Overall an excellent stay. Saw a few mosquitos especially on the first floor. Would be great if some measures to deter mosquitos were provided.

• Carbis (6/5): great location but my advice would be to improve the bed comfort to make it even better - location was great and easy access to the train lines to see the main sights. beds were uncomfortable for the whole family. kids has 3 ‘futons’ which were very thin and left to them practically sleeping on the floor. not what I would expect for the money and length of stay
• James (10/5): - Check-in was at the hotel property managing the apartment, at Rinn Kyoto Station. The receptionist was very kind in helping us check-in and the taxi to the property was provided free of charge helping us also move our luggae across. We enjoyed the close location to Tokufuji Station, giving us access to most of Kyoto as it leads back to Kyoto Station and branches out from there. The place is clean, spacious enough, with working heaters and comfortable lounging.

• Brandon (10/5): - This is a wonderful place to stay in Kyoto. Feels like a cozy home. Has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Location is excellent as well, 5 minute walk to Tofukuji station which will connect you to anywhere in the city. I highly recommend this amazing place.

• Colleen (10/5): Lovely stay! - Traditional housing. Minimalist decor and very comfortable. Kitchen has most anything you need to cook or heat food. Our unit had steep stairs, so if you have any limitations please consider. Also, if you frequent the restroom at night our unit is not recommended. The area was quiet and clean. Googleaps cannot find address of unit so a map marker will be necessary. Overall a lovely stay!!! Friendly service and train access is easy.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Extremely clean. Convenient location to subway station (Tofukuji, which was one stop away from Kyoto Station). Easy check-in and great communication leading up to the stay from the staff. Enough space for myself and four other people. One washroom, separate from shower/tub - both super clean and well equipped with shampoo, body wash, and heated toilet seat/bidet. Walking distance to Fushimi-Inari Shrine and Sanjusangendo Shrine. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nyrenoverad lägenhet - Fantastiskt fin lägenhet med plats för 5 en station från Kyoto centralstation. Helt nyrenoverad och ren med en utsikt över en mycket liten japansk trädgård från badrummet. Lite svårt att hitta eftersom man måste checka in på ett annat ställe men personalen var trevliga och allt funkade fint.
• YU Feng (8/5): - 離東福駅很近，走路約5分鐘，獨棟日式住宅很適合家庭旅遊，可能是踏踏米清潔不易，看起來很乾淨，但不時有小蟑螂或小蟲子在上面爬！整體來說，其實還算ok
• Bryony (10/5): Beautiful accommodation close to train station. - Japanese style Townhouse in a quiet neighbourhood that has everything you will need during your stay in Kyoto. We were a party of 5 and there was enough room for all of us. We spent most of our days exploring and only the evenings at the house. Staff were friendly and helpful, we arrived 2 hours earlier than checkin and we were able to leave our luggage at reception, they gave us our key and delivered our luggage to our accommodation. Just a note that this accommodation is a 5 minute walk from reception. We stayed for 6 nights, it would be nice to have access to a broom or vacuum cleaner for longer stays.
• TingTing (8/5): - 交通方便，離最近的車站步行5分鐘左右就到了。佈置很日式風格，設備很新，該有都有，像是廚具、小冰箱、洗衣機、吹風機、膠囊咖啡機⋯感覺像住在家裡的感覺。整體上很乾淨，適合3-5人住，由於空間算適中，雖然是獨棟的，但如果人數太多，空間上會顯得擁擠，要是有年紀較長的，可能會不太適合，因為上樓睡的房間需要走樓梯，樓梯是屬於較窄且稍陡的，怕長輩如果腳力或膝蓋不好，可能會很吃力。 住宿外的環境很舒服，是純住宅區，如怕住在吵鬧的環境的話，這裡是個不錯的選擇。 離衹園、鴨川、伏見稻荷神社都很近，搭車很快，散步過去也不算遠，如有想去以下地方，也可以考慮看看。
