Please inform Birch Apartments in the City in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of AUD 500 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Birch Apartments is a collection of individual apartments located within the Manhattan on the Park complex. Though there is no reception desk on the premises, Birch Apartments staff are available at all times to assist. Please note that this property has a strict 'No Party Policy'. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made. One complimentary secure parking space is included per reservation. Additional spaces are subject to availability and a fee of $20 per space per day. Please note that for extended stays a complimentary weekly cleaning service is included.

The kitchen was very well equipped - everything you need if you want to cook up a storm. The location is great - right there in the city with the best views. I walked to the war memorial to pay my respects. Other days took the car - there's a dedicated car park in the building - which is fab. Close to all the sights wonderful Canberra has to offer. The hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Dawn (6/5): The unit itself is very pleasant & comfortable. The security & key arrangements were awful. - Location good & apartment comfortable. Getting in & out is a pain because of the security arrangements. It was difficult to find the lockbox. Leaving the property required one to drive out of the parking garage & then go back into the building to leave the key inside the unit - quite a hassle, especially if one is travelling alone.
