Guest Reviews
- Phonethip (10/5): Overall I would recommend the place. Staff at reception lovely. - Love the location to where I needed to be. Have stayed multiple times and housekeeping is not consistent.
Sometimes there’s rubbish under beds.
Sometimes complimentary water or jelly beans missing.

- Christine & Ron Bowering (9/5): - We have been here many times.
Armada Arndale is walking distance for coffee ☕️ & shopping 🛍 Not to far from the city. Free drinks voucher with room. Always clean and tidy. Need to have some biscuits to go with the tea & coffee making facilities.
- Jason (7/5): The room was great. Stay in the room. - Bed. Super comfy No bistro, people loitering around the outside of the venue and carpark in various states of inebriation or psychosis.
- Danny (10/5): -
- Belinda (8/5): -
- Robert (6/5): - Staff. No dinning room.
- Mary (7/5): It was fine. Weather was terrible on the Saturday and as such, we ended up stuck on the room as the car was too far to g - Location. Price. Clean and comfortable Car was too far away to “pop out” easily…(weather was miserable so we got stuck in the room). We only had enough things (cups, coffee for 2 people but booked for 3)
- andrew (6/5): Comfortable enough but lack of meals & poor sound proofing made it over priced! - check-in was simple & completed with bar staff. Rooms recently upgraded and refurbished and bed very good. Only advised on arrival that bistro was closed and no meals available in the hotel only across the road at a Vietnamese restaurant or 800metres down the road at Arndale shopping centre. Probably would have not stopped there if i had known no meal service. Room was quite small and probably should have had a smaller bed as there was very little room either side. Sound proofing was poor between rooms and from the corridor outside the room.
- Cathy (8/5): - Unfortunately the bistro was closed for renovations, we Uber it for dinner at different location
- Nguyen (7/5): Very nice - Friendly staffs.
Room clean and tidy Comfortable
- Jessica (1/5): Never again - It was a close location to the thing we had come done to see and do
We got free coffee in the morning after things had been stolen from our car and the ladies that helped us was lovely Our car and many others had been broken into and things stolen or windows smashed
People all hours of the night yelling and carrying on out side the pokies which is below the rooms
No private parking for people staying in the rooms
And we were out and ran to book at table at the bistro and the lady on the phone was very blunt and rude and informed us they currently had no kitchen we should have been told this proir to staying or when we checked in to make different arrangements as it was a Friday night and most places were booked out
- Rowan (8/5): -
- cai (5/5): Not worth - Free breakfast Bed was too soft, noises come from outside of the room.Unsafe car park. Our rental car window got stretched
- Gursharan (10/5): -
- Colin (7/5): -
- Sheridan (5/5): - Clean, easily accessible No meal options for dinner when the website stated meals available.
- Jaine (8/5): Great location! Friendly staff! Free parking! What more could you want? - I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and find the location to be perfect for my needs. The renovated rooms are lovely, although a little on the small side. The staff are always amazing and I love the convenience of having the bar downstairs. Parking is also a breeze with no additional fee. I really wish they would find a chef and re-open the bistro - that would be awesome! The rooms could use a chair, we had to sit on the bed for everything - even to eat dinner! Maybe a small microwave in the rooms would be beneficial as well.

- Rhianyn (7/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): I will return, good accommodation - Clean comfortable, good parking, able to accommodate late check in
- Robert (8/5): Met my needs very well. - Easy access late at night. It would have been nice if there was a coffee shop close by
- Butters (9/5): -
- Ben (8/5): Cool - Easy to find.. Very quiet..
- Yim Sum (2/5): - disqualified cleanliness : still have hair in the washbasin in the bathroom.
Imperfect facilities: no Hair dryer in the room.
Unintimate service: There is no elevator service. It is very inconvenient to carry luggage up and down the stairs. A especially for the disabled people.
I’ve reported to the front desk staff that the was missing a hair dryer, However, the service was not considerate enough and I didn’t get a hair dryer until I check out. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed.

- Murray (9/5): Superb -
- gbeleyee (10/5): - The customer service very reliable
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- John (6/5): - Nice 'pun' style accommodation, close to the CBD & Adelaide oval. The only downside was the thinness of walls between the rooms & could clearly hear the next rooms conversations.
- Robert (4/5): Would not recommend to others unfortunately. - Very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, easy access. The biggest issue was the amount of light in the room at night due to lighting in the car park and the hallway which, we couldn’t really do anything to change. The issue had been raised by others in previous reviews which makes it disappointing given that the issue hasn’t been addressed effectively by management. If I read the reviews initially I would have chosen alternative accomodation. Definitely issues with house keeping standards also.
- Josephine (6/5): Okay stay for an overnight trip. - Comfy bed and generally neat and quiet in the room. Parking available also for free which was great. Didn't like that there was no hairdryer in the room. Also there were some dried stains on the bedsheets (blood and something else)... Perhaps my fault for not researching properly beforehand but the reception was situated right at the bar on the ground floor where all the pokies machines were... Felt quite awkward coming in with all our luggage there. Didnt feel unsafe but didn't feel very comfortable. I wouldnt recommend if you're a solo female traveller, but otherwise not a problem.
- Catrin (6/5): Room had been used by smoker - Shame that room 2 smelt of cigarettes after a previous smoked in bed and in the bathroom - damaging the sink and floor. Will request a different room next time.
- Kaya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jarrad (8/5): Very good -
- Woodward (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and perfect for my needs. Having the facilities in the hotel were a bonus.
- Amber (5/5): Small room but clean, not a great area - Quick to get on the highway. Walking distance to get dinner Lots of drunk people hanging around who would harass you coming in or going out
- Sa (3/5): sleazy suburb..very basic hotel. - Not much ..bed was quite comfortable. Luke warm shower..small cramped room...window overlooked a bleak arrangement of tin roofs and garbage industry. At night the light from hallway can been seen from the around the door surround..bad fitted door.. another reason you can hear people coming and going all night.
- Jacobus (5/5): Passable - Good price, nice location .
Spacious and clean. Friendly stuff. No hot water, only luke warm. Had to take cold showers. There are no real instructions on check in which you need to go through the pokies to check in.
- Carolyn (5/5): Passable -
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- Mattner (4/5): Country trip to the Footy - Staff were very helpful and friendly There was nothing available to eat in the facility.
The kitchen was not open for meals.
There was not even bar meals or Pizza's available to purchase.
The package said that breakfast was available but there was nothing at all.
- Sha (7/5): Good -
- Eun (8/5): We enjoyed our stay here! - It was warm inside without turning the heaters on. The room was spacious and clean. They gave us welcome drinks and also bottled water in the fridge. Parking was quite packed but there was still car spaces for us to park.
- Philbey (10/5): Exceptional - Thanks Starf
- Samantha (8/5): Had a good stay - It was quiet and convenient to my location. The staff were happy and helpful. Wasn’t anything
- Leroy (8/5): - Nice spacious room, very clean and tidy.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (1/5): Would never stay here again. - Nothing Didn’t like that we were staying at a pokies centre. You should rename it to motel+pub. Drunks walking around all night. Had one guy walking in with his thongs on backwards. Checking into the place was at the bar of the pokies centre. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Cheers
- Kaidyn (7/5): Loved it easy to get drinks and food - Clean l, very nice and beautiful rooms lots of food around. Hot water only lasts 1minute and a half no Tim to wash your body and then head, toilet paper on smoke alarm.
- Kent (8/5): Very good -
- Sayyadi (9/5): Overall it was worth what I paid for the night - Price
Cleanliness The drunk guys manoeuvre around the property
- Rinas (8/5): - It was a pleasant experience
- Susan (10/5): - We were after somewhere close to the QEH at a reasonable price.
The room was clean and tidy with a breakfast pack each (free).
Discount vouchers were another bonus we didn't expect.
Went to get a cappachino using our vouchers to find out they were free as we were using the pokie room.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be returning.
Great value for money.
- Adeel (8/5): Value for money, spacious clean room and breakfast pack made it a fit for purpose - Clean and spacious room, generous staff and parking Entrance through pub
