• STUART (8/5): CHARMING HISTORIC HOSTEL OFFERS MORE THAN EXPECTED - This is one of the better Hostels in Bangkok with lots of character and History and in a great location close to BTS and the river and easy access to all essential things that the city offers - surrounding area is very local and authentic with lots of street and other food options. The beds and privacy are a real plus and the bathrooms and showers were great. Cleanliness could always be improved but not too much of an issue, as the overall Place is well maintained. Not as friendly and sociable as other Hostels and no kitchen or place to prepare any food, but there is a fridge to keep stuff if required. Staff were pleasant and the resident cat was charming. I enjoyed the ambience and delightful working and lounging spaces.

• Lindsey (6/5): - We stayed in a room with a loft and the stairs felt very sketchy. One was loose as well. The staff were helpful enough when we asked a question but it was not a very active or social place. The location was pretty good to get to where we wanted.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Enjoyed the mini-room and street food - Loved the mini-room I got as a dorm and the comfortable bed and bed linen. Lots of street food in the area but it’s quiet in the rooms. Nice communal hang out areas. Reception service was a bit mixed but one of the staff members, Apple, was consistently friendly and very helpful. Would be nice if the luggage room was locked so early arrivals could leave their bag there securely. Overall, I would absolutely stay again.
• Kashtan (8/5): Cool place, great location - Interesting stay at Silom area at a refurbished old movie theater, keeping many of the old world charm. Convenient location, loved the short walk to the boat pier and cover many places on boat to save traffic time and taxi cost. Also many old and renowned street food places are right outside the hostel. I also liked my room, which was a hybrid of single room and hostel dorm, with shared bathroom inside a single room, yet separated with privacy. Nice place. I wouldn’t mind staying back here in future.
• christopher (10/5): - An amazing hostel, with the added bonuses of having a movie theatre in it. Everything is clean as it was recently renovated. The staff are genuinely friendly and ready to help with any questions. The dorm has a very cool layout, and the bed is like your own comfy cubicle. one of the best hostels I have been to would definitely stay again.
• Nergal (8/5): - If you’re used to hotels and the like in western countries, you might be a little turned off by this hotel but despite its scuffed up look, it’s a very solid budget option! Cheap price, excellent location, and the AC is great. Lots of local stalls in the streets surrounding the hotel.

Llegamos en un vuelo las 22.30 e iniciamos el checkin antes de las 23.30. Terminamos despues de las 00.00. Gracias que tenian habitaciones disponibles aunque no lo que habiamos reservado.
• Susan (10/5): - Amazing gem in a fab location. Staff super helpful and friendly helping us with taxis and even an early brekkie on departure day. Such a gorgeous building. Fascinating for the kids and adults alike. Would definitely recommend for families, couples and solo travellers!
• Helen (8/5): Value for money - Hotel is stunning and has everything you need, shame there isn't any atmosphere in the bar area -even to have a movie playing or music. It made us go elsewhere, when we may have spent more time there The staff couldn't have done more for us and were very friendly. Breakfast has good options. Space between the rooms is thin so bring ear plugs./ Short walk from the transport system so easy to get around.

But you should also let your future guests that there still is movies projections in the evening , which that bring little bit of noise . Anyway your staff is very helpful and nice .

• Yutzu (10/5): Great location - Walking distance to saphan taksin bts station and sathorn pier. Free shuttle boat to Asiatique. You can take Bts or boat the the tourist spots. Also have market around the area.
• Kailey (10/5): Unique and in a good walking location! - A unique accommodation with a cool vibe. Good area to walk around and explore, lots of food carts and good restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are three traveling together and booked a 5 person room as 2 individual rooms were not available but we wanted to stay due to the uniqueness. The bathroom cleanliness is my only complaint. The shower and shower curtain were moldy and really needed a good scrub. The rest of the room was generally very clean. We would stay again if traveling via Bankok.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Relax dormitory - The hotel is really nice and the staff was super friendly. The room was just what I needed. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm with en-suite bathroom. You have a lot of privacy since there are little sleeping pods which is nice. It definitely is more a hotel than a hostel, so I wouldn’t recommmend it if you’re looking for something social but definitely great for a quiet, relaxed and comfortable night.

• Tracee (10/5): Very charming - This is an incredibly charming hotel with charming rooms, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, great wifi and tv, and kind staff. When you enter the huge lobby, you see a relaxing sitting area (with an antique movie projector), a bar and eating area, and a large stage with a huge movie screen that shows silent movies. You are immediately given a bag of yummy popcorn from the old fashioned popcorn cart in the lobby and the check in process is seamless. The open lobby/eating area can get a little noisy at times and because some of the rooms surround that open area, it is possible to hear the noise from some of the rooms but the A/C muffles the sound and if it's too loud, the front desk asks people to be quiet. The breakfast is minimal compared to a lot of other Thai hotels (toast, lettuce, meat ball porridge, hard boiled eggs, and beans). The area is close to the BTS station and the Chao Praya dock. Would stay there again.

The rooms were pristine, the linens white/new/clean, and the rooms very nicely designed. The location was easy to find and the staff very helpful and accommodating. I would consider this a 5 star hostel, and one of the best I've stayed in around the world. As a solo traveler would definitely stay here again.

• Alda Fadzari (10/5): Brand New Hotel with A Great Attitude - Situated in a small alley of a busy area, Prince Theatre is a strikingly quirky in an area where dominated by shophouses. Featuring an old theatre that turned into a hostel, designed with modern ambience but still thinking about its heritage of the building. I arrived a bit late, around 9.30 PM Bangkok time, the staff recognized me right away and prepared all the paperworks very fast. The reception desk is a part of their bar. I didn't get the chance to try their drinks though. My room is Duplex King Suite. This 2 floor room is located in the 2nd floor together with the communal rooms. First floor is living room and bathroom and the 2nd floor is bed and one sofa. The TV in the living room is a smart TV, so netflix users can utilize it. Bathroom is pretty much fulfill basic needs. Shower, sink and toilet. Since this is a new hostel, the cleanliness is excellent. Hope they can maintain it in the future. Bed is heaven. Fluffy pillows, crisp sheets. The only bad thing about this suite is they don't have windows. The window is inside the bathroom. I think their king suite has windows. They serve basic breakfast, jam and bread, fruits, cup noodles also several beverages. But on my last day there, they serve a very excellent congee, a michelin recommended congee called Jok Prince. All in all, I'm really satisfied with this place.
• angie (2/5): Bad hotel in an alley with stinky neighborhood - Before I book, they showed this nice room with bed. When we checked in, the rooms were with cubicles stuffed with mattresses one each. No tables to sit on, no television either. The hotel was located in an alley that smells like a sewer, it is so ghettoish!!
• Angela (10/5): - I had a great 3 nights at Prince Theatre. I booked only for one night and then decided on an additional two. This old movie theatre was remodeled with great care and a combination of modern and vintage. I was in a very comfortable twin women’s dorm. Bathroom was large with separate doors for shower and toilet. Great to share with 6 people. Great large lockers and hanging space. Area is like a 5 min walk to BTS station and lots of greet street food around. I would stay here again.
• Angela (10/5): - Great stay at a very new hotel. Hip vibe in a re modeled movie theater. Staff was very sweet and accommodating. They allowed me to check in early from a long flight from India. I was in a female dorm. Linens were clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a great set up. Lots of privacy. Separate doors once inside for toliet and shower. Very spacious and good for sharing. Loved that there was free popcorn all day and water. Simple breakfast of coffee/tea, toast and cereal. I really enjoyed the Bangrak area for eating street food and night market. Very convenient to have BTS station and ferry near by. I would stay here again.
• Angela (10/5): New little gem in Bangrak - My stay at Prince Theatre was great. This gem was only open a few months. An old theater had been renovated. I stayed in a female 6 bed dorm. Beds where double beds which was a surprise and very comfortable. Staff was lovely and allowed me to check in early after a long flight from India. Any questions I had they were there to answer or to recommend best places to eat, laundry, transportation, etc. I would stay here again. Bonus is that BTS station is like a 2 min walk away.
• Alex (10/5): Perfect stay for travellers. - Brand new renovation to an old movie theatre. Very cool vibes, amazing staff. The rooms were clean and very reasonably priced. A/C is cold and breakfast was basic but also included. If you're looking for something nice with a central location, look no further than the Prince theatre. #satisfiedcustomer. Will definitely come again :)
• Joey (10/5): Nice hotel with lovely vibe - We had a wonderful 2 nights stay in Prince. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel exuded a unique vibe. There were however a number of mosquitoes around - the staff offered to spray insecticide in our room to counter this problem.
• Natalia (10/5): Comfortable and unique - We checked into the hotel with no problems. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and just what we needed after a day of traveling. They offer a simple breakfast in the morning from 7am-10am. We had a red eye flight the day after checking out and they kindly stored our bags for us while we explored Bangkok on our last day. There is a mall nearby and lots of choices for food within walking distance. It was located close to a BTS station as well as the riverfront where you can take a free ferry to Asiatique. The hotel was unique and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Bangkok.

• Julian (10/5): Hidden Gem. Great Value - Found this accommodation by luck.Very recently opened and still doing work. Unique setting and location with a lot of great street food nearby. Close walk to the BTS and water taxi. Kind and friendly staff. Smooth check in and out. Stayed in the master suite which was extremely well appointed. Highly recommended! Highly recommended.
