Guest Reviews
- Delphie (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. You will get scammed of a deposit of 250 in which it’s been two weeks and I still haven’t received thi -
- Kingham (1/5): - It was close to our job They hold £250 from you as a damage waiver. But they actually take the money and insist that you pay this before they give you the code to get in. The place is dirty, the main fuse board has a cover missing, the central heating would mot work as well as the hot water to to a pressure issue. Trailing cables are down the corridor. The beds are not comfy and silver paper is stuck on the rear windows

- Anthony (2/5): Very disappointing, admittedly I didn’t read previous reveiws based my booking on photos and location. Lesson learned. - Good location Bathroom very poor, damage to walls and bath panel, shower poor, room dirty.
Kitchen poor state of repair, damage to kitchen units, back door damaged and no access to the back garden.
Living Room, no linen for fold out bed, black plastic taped to windows, generally postage of repair.
Bedroom 1, bed linen was dirty, didn’t appear to have been changed before arrival, toothpicks in the bed, make up on pillows. Black plastic on windows.
Bedroom 2, mattress poor, sunken on one side. Black plastic on window.

- Sterling (2/5): - The place was filthy dirty. It had garbage bags on the windows. Cobwebs all over, kitchen was a total disaster. Kitchenware was dirty. I would give this place negative stars out of 5.
- Christine (2/5): - I had no communication prior to my stay. The address was wrong. Whilst outside property address advertised receieved a phone call demanding £250 for key, the property was 2 doors away and still being cleaned at 3pm, even though you could check in at 2pm. I did not have the money for key, thought it was a scam. Contacted expedia who advised it was ok to send money through link provided not a scam. I had to make the decision not to stay as money i had was for my stay, so didnt have enough. Awful experience, still trying to resolve with expedia. No one should find out once travelled they have to find £250 for a key deposit, if id known before i could of cancelled. Terrible customer service all round.
- paul (1/5): Disgusting stay - Nothing The whole accommodation was disgusting from the off. The pictures on Booking.com are not of the property.
There was multiple things damaged within the property, it was dirty, the toilet dis not work and the bathroom was disgusting.
I have stayed in some shitholes before but this tops them.
- Alan (3/5): Good that we were out & about a lot…. - Location is really handy for the tube & the local market has some great places to eat.
The beds were comfy. It’s very run down & basic. Furniture is worn & needs replacing. Paint peeling in areas. Garden completely overgrown. WiFi patchy at times.
- Leah (2/5): Location good, that’s it. - Great location for the tube and some shops. NO HOT WATER. NO HEATING.
Host requested £250 deposit was paid before giving me the key safe code which is fine however I’m still waiting for that deposit to be paid back to me after having read it would just be a ‘hold’ on my card rather than a charge,in case of any damage. I’m not sure how they would know if I had caused damage as the place was in such a state of disrepair. It was ok for a bed for the night and location for the tube is great but that’s it.
Since checking out the host has ignored all my communication and Booking.com have not been any help so far either. I was assured the money would be back on my card after 7 days and it’s now day 9.
DO NOT STAY HERE OR GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.
- Ian (5/5): Great short term stay, basic facilities, close to centre of London. - Excellent communication and very reasonable cost. Great location for being in / around London. Lots of shops / restuarants on the door step. Broken shower and couch. Bin liners on windows. Cleanliness of kitchen facilities.
- Dan (1/5): Very poorly maintained, just there to take your money. - Location was fine Heating substandard, mold in the kitchen and very dirty in other places poor cleaning.
Toilet not functioning properly, had to flush with a bucket of water.
Charged a hidden security deposit fee of £250, not received anything back yet.
Communication very poor.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and local too everything, plenty of pubs, shops and train station nearby A lot of things need repairing but it didn’t effect my stay
- Joanne (1/5): TOTAĹ SHOCKING, MAJOR H&S ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED - The location This must be the worst place I have ever stayed in. The electrics are a major problem. As you will see from the photos. In the 1st bedroom only one socket worked out of about 6. The socket in the livingroom has blown and what looks like a bit of metal sticking out of it, a double socket and the fridge was still plugged in the other side, Fridge was in livingroom. Lights in kitchen did not work, cupboard door hanging off and also another socket blown in kitchen. Bath dirty, toilet didnt flush and handle on shower screen broken. The overall cleanliness of the apartment was SHOCKING. It was that bad we refused to eat or drink in the apartment. As per other reviews I had to contact customer services to get my deposit back. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE APARTMENT TO RETURN MY MESSAGES. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND BOOKING.COM SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS SORT OF ACCOMODATION TO BE ADVERTISED
- Sinéad (1/5): Nightmare - Nothing, this whole experience was a nightmare I still haven't received my deposit refund of hundreds of pounds weeks later. These people are scammers. They moved us to another apartment on the day miles away due to a 'rodent problem' and there was not enough space, three of us had to share one double bed. They still have my deposit money and refuse to communicate with me about it, they are completely ignoring me and so are booking.com. Do not book with these people.
- Uthpala (9/5): Superb -
- Leonardo (4/5): Lack of maintenence very evident - The proximity to the metro station Our family stay in this London flat was a somewhat frustrating and disappointing experience, mainly due to the woeful lack of maintenance we found in the place. From the moment we walked in, we could tell that something was not right. The ripped doors between the living and kitchen areas, as well as the access to the bedrooms, created a sense of discomfort and lack of privacy that we did not expect. The inability to access the terrace due to the door being damaged and the latch taped shut.
The lack of attention to detail was evident in every corner. The torn toilet paper holder and the detail of a shower handle held in place by wires were clear indicators that the owner had not bothered to maintain the flat in a proper condition. The condition of the floor was deplorable, with badly damaged wood and a hole covered with duct tape, and the sofa bed in a somewhat poor condition.
In addition, the lack of sound insulation was a significant problem. The "paper" walls allowed any noise from the adjoining neighbours to filter into our space, constantly disturbing our peace and privacy.
I would not recommend this place to any traveller, although it is well connected to the metro stop.
We had a flight problem and needed to stay an extra night and the owner allowed us to rent the flat for an extra night.
- Sofia (1/5): Worst place ever been - The only thing we liked was the location. The first point was the communication with the propiety. They didn't answer in the beginning the questions. After they changed the apartment and they said it's an upgrade... the house was a disaster !
They asked for a 400£ deposit for the house, and it wasn't clean, wall in the bedroom it's broken, the carpet dirty, the toilet with hairs around the shower...The only clean was the bed and the towels.
I wait almost two weeks for my deposit refund, and they send me less than I paid. I will never go back, and I didn't advise you to come to this accommodation.
- Norkhairi (10/5): Exceptional - Helpful
- Jason (1/5): Very dissapointing - Location No linen for sofabed, bathroom was extremely rundown - damp patches everywhere, bath panel off, shower broken, bath didn’t drain, broken mirror, mouldy silicone.
Damp patches in all rooms
Light fittings exposed
Staff unwilling to help
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -

- Mark (7/5): Nice Place to stay for a couple nights. Mostly Tidy and Clean - Everything you possibly need for a couple nights in London Shower and hot water varied
- Chiara (1/5): Very bad for the price - I didn’t like the property to be honest. It has to be refurbished and more cured The house was old , the smell was not nice and for the toilet I struggled
- Martell (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely
- Hannigan (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay apartment was very clean tidy it was very near the subway and the shops . - There was no hot water
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (8/5): Very good - The location was very good and close to the underground and shops.
Beds were comfortable including the sofa bed and it was on the ground floor. Didn't watch much TV. The blinds in bedrooms weren't working very well with one that was broken, when you rolled up the blinds there was black bin liners sellotaped to the lower part of the window as it was a last minute thing.
I did contact the owners and sent about 4 pictures to show them what was wrong with the apartment.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (1/5): It was more of an ordeal more of a death trap. Children could not be able to stay in this property - Location Kitchen was a health hazard
Whole accommodation was filthy
Water damage in the ceilings
Kitchen was filthy and covered in ants
Shower and bath unfit for purpose
Bath panels fallen off
Garbage out by the front door
Massing cobwebs everywhere
Black bags was taped to the windows
Broken furniture held together with rope
Broken electrics able to see wires
- Prashant (10/5): Exceptional - I like the Location and the facilities provided by Hotel.
It had all the Facilities which are required by any Family Stay Oven Was working but had some issue while controlling
- Anonymous (1/5): awful - the location. very unhelpful and rude hosts. had issues within the house with a faulty smoke detector alarm that made my stay almost impossible. no replies from the hosts for hours.
- Pavel (7/5): Good - Owner allowed us earlier check in, location is rather close to underground (8 minutes walk with children) Apartment clearly requires renovation and refurbishment
- Carlin (8/5): Great 2 bedroom apartment in charming neighborhood - Apartment was spacious, clean and very well priced for the area. Full kitchen and washing machine a big plus! Overall would stay here again! There was some damage to the apartment when we arrived due to lack of maintenance; part of the wall that surrounds the bath tub was falling off due to water rot, front glass of oven was half falling off. Lacked some basic amenities such as toilet paper and shampoo (both available just around the corner but wish I had known ahead of time).
- Kumar (10/5): Exceptional - self check in
- Josephine (5/5): Passable - Location. It was near restaurants, supermarkets and the underground station. The heaters were not working well. The shower was also not working well.
- Ricky (3/5): I won’t be booking again - location the staff
how unclean the property was
£400 deposit that takes longer that a week to get back.
- Natalided (7/5): Good -
- Liam (7/5): Good -
- Ricky (1/5): shocking - location was good there was a mouse running around the place,
- Ashfaq (1/5): Bad - Sofa bed was good.
Wifi was good.
Plenty of towels were provided. Broken floor outside the main door, spiderwebs on both side of main door and in the house.
Broken bell, property is in a state of repair,
TV is not a smart TV.
Both rooms had big mark of flood from property above on the roof. Not a nice view while laying on the bed.
Toilet tub side is broken and left without repairs.
Room door handles are broken and I got stuck inside the room as one of the door had no back handle.
Furniture and doors are quite old, toilet door needs a good lock.
All windows were taped/covered with bin bags.
Neighbourhood was noisy and I woke up at 1pm by loud door noise next door and then lots of noise by passing by people especially at night time.
Fridge makes a loud noise.
- Philip (6/5): Pleasant -
- Omawumi (2/5): - We never stayed. Someone else was in the apartment when we arrived and all attempts to contact the owner failed as the phone number was switched off
- Rosalind (8/5): Disappointing end to an otherwise good stay - Stayed here for one week. The train and bus are just around the corner. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Heating in the apartment was very hot and needed to be turned off. Beds comfortable and layout fine. Bathroom not very safe the shower over bath was very tricky there are no grab rails and you need to be very flexible and steady getting in and out especially as you end up with water on the floor. Free wifi very good. Free parking does not exist. Nor does luggage storage despite speaking with the manager regarding this and being assurred it was fine. Only to be told that we could not leave luggage (we had a late flight) this necessitated a big change of plans and after the cost of leaving our luggage at Heathrow for the day we could have just booked an extra night. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise great holiday. Moral is don't believe in all the accomadation and booking site tell you.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Disturbing , poor communication on deposit arrangement, no shampoo, bathing gel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location & well equipped.
Only issues were that there wasn’t enough towels for all of us and that it is metered parking on the streets outside (not free parking as stated on the Expedia description).
