Mary (8/5): A lovely place to stay for our son's wedding nearby; would like to visit again. - Wonderful situation surrounded by greenery. Lovely swimming pool, with swallows swooping overhead. Mosquito screens (albeit slight damage) on bedroom windows. Thick walls, so apartment didn't overheat (weather VERY hot), and stone floor. Paola is a lovely hostess. Basic welcome pack provided for first breakfast. One evening, all guests staying were treated to a meal of local foods. Local shops and we found a good supermarket on the edge of Umbertide (apartment has small freezer). Lots of places to visit - if not too hot! No air con – but fans provided, so one for each bedroom at night. Both showers were quite a tight fit, possibly tricky for anyone pregnant or eating too much pasta!
Kateřina (8/5): Very good - Very nice and quiet place. You have a lot of privacy there. Spacious apartement, very cosy suites with comfortable beds. I slept like a baby... Coffee, tea, basic kitchen ingrediences and even home made marmelades offered to us. Parking lot next to the house. A lot of friendly cats on the back yard :) One of them came to visit us inside :) Password for wi-fi we got didnt work, but there was internet problem in general - it is the country side, in the hills, so signal was poor. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnť. Well, if you are mobile phone addicted, it can drives you mad. We didnt get there to stare at the screen, so no big problem :)

Juanita (9/5): Great place if you are looking to explore the area and also have time to relax and enjoy the countryside. - Amazing location, so very nice and peaceful! The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is stunning and the owners are ever so nice! They invited us for dinner on night and looked after us very well. The place is run by a family and we were made to feel part of it! Everyone was so lovely and welcoming.
