• blowbubbles (10/5): Great resort - This was our first visit to Cabo and we were highly impressed with the resort. The huge property is beautifully landscaped and maintained, situated on an hillside overlooking the ocean. Free golf carts take guests from one spot to another with a quick call. A large variety of restaurant options with fine dining. Our room was spacious with a huge private patio from which we saw humpback whales breaching and spouting every day. Multiple options for poolside lounging and swimming in gorgeous infinity pools. But the highest praise goes to the staff. Top to bottom, each, and every person encountered was cheerful, accommodating, and eager to assist us. Each pool area has an adjacent bar and restaurant. We found our happy place for our evening game of Scrabble and especially appreciated the service of Noe and Omar. The architecture and artwork through the resort is exquisite. Kudos to Gustavo for his courtesy and knowledge of the property history.

From the moment we sat down, they made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their service was the perfect balance of attentive and relaxed — always checking in at just the right time without ever feeling intrusive. Noé made great recommendations and paid close attention to every detail, while Daniel brought such a warm, positive energy that really elevated the whole experience. Our drinks were always fresh, our food came out perfectly, and they both made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout our visit. It’s rare to come across a team that works so seamlessly and genuinely cares about creating a great experience. Daniel and Noé absolutely delivered that. • stevelN1690RH (2/5): Not a place to visit - Review of Our Stay at the Resort The resort was beautiful and well-maintained, with a commendable shout-out to the groundskeeping staff. However, our experience was marred by poor customer service from the start. Check-In Process We were a large group of seven couples checking in simultaneously, which understandably could overwhelm staff. Unfortunately, the reception focused more on upselling time shares than on providing timely service. After a lengthy wait, our check-in was rushed, as staff seemed eager to move on rather than assist us genuinely. Dining Experience Dinner was a challenge, with the restaurant refusing to accommodate our large party initially, despite the establishment being mostly empty. When we were finally seated, it took excessively long for basic orders, and drink service was lacking. Although the food was mediocre, the lengthy verification at every turn detracted from the all-inclusive experience. Notably, the lack of acknowledgment for our limited tipping was disappointing. Pool Bar Service Our time at the pool bar was equally frustrating. Despite its tranquil setting, service was slow, with drinks taking 35-45 minutes to arrive. Additionally, the bartender prioritized room numbers over customer care, and ordering restrictions only added to our inconvenience. Safety and Security Concerns More alarming was a friend's experience when someone entered their room unannounced, leading to stolen items. The staff’s handling of this incident indicated a lack of priority for guest safety, dismissing their concerns after learning that surveillance cameras were non-functional. Positive Encounters There were some exceptions to the otherwise subpar service. Kevin, our breakfast server, was outstanding, and Mestizo provided the best dining experience overall. Yet, we still encountered hiccups in service across other venues, with meals arriving at differing times, even within our split groups. Departure Issues Our checkout was riddled with further miscommunications regarding a $100 credit that we could not apply, leading to a stressful exit with incorrect charges. The lack of effective communication regarding our transportation also added to our frustration. Conclusion Despite the resort's beauty, our experience was overshadowed by poor customer service, safety concerns, and a lack of adequate support. Given these issues, we will not be returning or recommending this resort to future travelers.

The accommodations are fantastic and the service is excellent. Staff is super friendly and helpful. A shout out to bell boy Antonio who always made us feel welcome and went above and beyond.
• 335masoodm (6/5): On a scale of 1 to 10, maybe a 5. - We arrive around noon and had to wait for the shuttle to the hotel for over 1 hour once we came out of the airport. Once arrived at the hotel, had to wait another hour before checking in due to long line. While checking in kept getting interrupted by people talking to the person checking us in - giving folks keys and answering questions in the middle of our checking in. Very frustrating. Then we were given the wrong wrist band for the all inclusive which created a whole lot of mess and issues at every restaurant on the premise. Then there were issues with servers mixing up our room number claiming we did not have all inclusive which we did and had to go back and forth to the reception to fix. Total mismanagement! There were some bright spots though! The cart service was great within the property. Darril (from Georgia) really great guy. Staff at El Patio were phenomenal. Tania, Santillan, Aristeo, Ingrid were fantastic. Oscar was amazing, kind, and attentive. Also, Feliciano at El Eden was one of the best taking good care of us. Staff at Las Marias did a great job with breakfast. Not happy with the service at Borelo and the restaurant at the roof top. They really screwed up my wife’s birthday dinner. The server Aldo did a real bad job. Finally, thanks to Ricardo Nery, we finished our vacation on a slightly higher note. I don’t think we will go back.

• 292denar (4/5): SADLY DISAPPOINTED - Such a shame the Service/Staff were so awful because this is the most Beautiful Resort I have stayed at in Cabo. Started off at our Check In, the young lady that checked us in offered no information. She seemed annoyed that we were Checking In 4 hours after our group arrived. She told us nothing about the resort, just asked for a credit card for deposit, said I have store credit and gave me a mug form Expedia. Day one we waited up to 45 minutes for drinks and almost two hours poolside at ILForno (by G Building) for a burger and pizza. Omar & Jaime do not wait on you, the wait staff gathered around the ticket holder and rarely walked around. We spent our first day looking for staff most of the day/night. We gave this same pool and dining area two more attempts over our five day stay and every time we visited this pool we were so disappointed in the service!! El Patio pool service was our best day of five. The Bartender was great, had his handful with all fourteen of us but handled it like a boss. La Trajainera Dinner was amazing, our server Juan took great care of us, even though we could not sit together as a group. Housekeeping was horrible. Kitchen trash not emptied for days, our dishes were left in the sink dirty, our fridge was never restocked in our five day stay. No coffee packs refilled but housekeeping left the coffee you have to pay extra for in your room all week long. We requested pillows on two occasions, and we never received them. House keeping also entered our room even though we had the "do not disturb shoe" on the door!! Our friends Wedding Rings were stolen from their room, (yes, a mistake on their part by not putting them in the safe, yes we acknowledge that) but the Manager said, the cameras in hall were not working, he had no concern and he never called to discuss issue, although he said he would follow up. We had to ask about the rings everyday, and they were never found! Dinner at Mestizo from start to finish took 3.5 hours, again service slow, staff was uninterested, but the food was outstanding and dessert was delicious. Oddly too, we had no idea of any events or activities that were going on at any of the pools or on the resort. We happened to go to La Pergala Pool one day and they were have Loteria (bingo) nice surprise to us!! We did take the Shuttle to the Marina where you can have an All Inclusive Lunch or Dinner at I believe four restaurants. We chose Jacks and it was the wonderful. Service at the Marina was great, attentive and knowledgeable. Wish we would have tried Marina Fiesta's Pool one day instead of our pool. On our last day we had charges on our credit card from the store. We were told at Check In we had 100. store credit, but nope just another scam. When we arrived we signed up to go to the timeshare sales tour, by day two we knew this was not a place for us, with the service lacking and the housekeeping minimal already by day two, we canceled the time share tour. I was asked why, I explained my concerns with the service or lack of, I was told it was because I was not an owner! Odd thing to say considering you are trying to sell me a timeshare to make us an owner. Room Service is not included, odd being an upscale All Inclusive. They offer a daily up sale to add to your All Inclusive but its not worth it. Minimal hours service and minimal food available. Golf Cart transportation is spot on. These guys are great, friendly and very quick. All in all horrible service, non caring staff, worse management. I would NOT recommend although such a Beautiful Resort. Read Good and Bad Reviews, I wish I would have. !!! An All Inclusive Resort, with some things not included, Room service is a Big One!! We were a group of 14 that traveled together, not one of the restaurants could we sit together as a group for lunch or dinner and at times we were the only one in the dining areas. This Resort was oddly empty everywhere. At times we were the only group in the pool and still could get no service at the pool by G Building. On our last day our Shuttle Service was not allowed into Resort to pick us up for our flights, even though this was the same shuttle service that dropped us off. The Resort offered a Taxi for us and said they would pay due to the unforeseen circumstance of our shuttle not allowed on property. We were then told by Taxi driver we owed 100.00. Many times during our stay I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. This Resort is stunning and beautiful, but don't be sold on it by its beauty, the service and staff were very poor. I hoped everyday for a change with the service, we tipped, we were easy to please and were the only ones there and still poor service. I am sharing our trip in detail because I read a lot and I mean a lot of good reviews and I was truly disappointed with our trip to El Encanto at Hacienda Encantada.

Very enjoyable and relaxing with staff that takes amazing care of guests. We had a Jr Deluxe, ocean side. For all-inclusive, extremely affordable. The grounds are very clean and quiet. Even with a wedding and reception, no crazy noise levels. We had so many awesome people that made are stay perfect from Juan (El Patio) to Roman (cart driver) to Ramon (Maria’s.) There are just way too many to name. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody going to Cabo.

Views from the pool were priceless. This was the 3rd time we have stayed at this resort. We would never stay anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive. A special mention to Daril and Marco (bus boys), as well as Jazziel, Juan, and several of the restaurant waiters, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, our trip was soured by an incident on our third day. A bottle of cologne was stolen from our room, which left us feeling uneasy and unsafe with our belongings for the rest of the stay. While we appreciated the great service from certain staff members, the theft was very disappointing—especially since a couple of employees quietly mentioned that this type of incident wasn’t new there. In summary, the hotel offers a lot of positives in terms of atmosphere and some wonderful team members, but the lack of security and theft issue is a serious concern that kept us from fully enjoying what could have been a great experience.

• rmpsts (10/5): Great Vacation - We recently returned from our first visit to El Encanto and we had a wonderful trip. We stayed at El Encanto, but visited all the restaurants at Hacienda Encantada and the Vista, as well as the spa. One of the most positive stand outs was all of the wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and provided excellent, consistent service. I wanted to call out a few staff members, who we saw throughout our week here. Mestizo - this was one of the breakfast buffet venues. Daniel, Samuel and Andrea were great! They would greet us every morning and provided stellar service throughout our meal. The buffet food was delicious with a nice variety and consistent quality; it was one of the nicer breakfast venues we have been to in our travels. La Trajinera - This was a gourmet-type mexican restaurant for dinner, we went here several times and enjoyed the food, especially the mole and lobster. Cesar provided wonderful service and did an excellent job of explaining the menu items and helping us decide which dishes to try. Barolo - this was the italian restaurant for dinner. Killian was our server both nights we went here and he provided prompt, excellent and friendly service, helping us to have enjoyable meals. Il Forno - this was the pool bar area and casual pizza and burger restaurant next to the El Encanto pool. We spent our days here by the pool. Again, the service here was excellent! Juan Ramon was our server several days and he ensured we always had a cold water and a cocktail and could enjoy our lunch at the pool. We had a massage and facial service at the spa. The services and spa personnel were excellent and the spa is a beautiful facility, with a waiting area with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The property was spread out and built on hill, so there were beautiful views of Cabo and the water. We really enjoyed this resort and plan to return.

We came off-season so it is very quiet- we have the whole place to ourselves practically! We played pickleball today and they also offer tennis, basketball and putting! We’ve see iguanas around the property and tons of crabs down by the rocky shore. The property is walkable but it’s convenient to have Gabriel and Alex chauffeur us around in the golf carts - so helpful and kind. Be sure to check in with Ingrid and Omar at La Pergola.

• RAY (6/5): - So when we got there we were sold on the upgraded VIP charge. We bought it. What was not explained to us was that some of the restaraunts included in that access were randomlu closed. Also that the menu items supposedly featured no longer were. The other thing is that the property itself shuts down rather early for the most part around 9pm. All in all I would not stay there again and wouldnt advised anyone else to. On the other hand the staff was very friendly overall!

Our first room had no water pressure, the paint was pealing off the wall and it smelled so bad. We let the staff know and they showed us different room options to move too/upgrade. It was worth the upgrade. All the food is made to order and is SO good. We went to every restaurant on property and even enjoyed the restaurants they are affiliated with at the marina. It’s great we get to use the marina fiesta pool and bar. We had a blast. The AC in the room was good, views are amazing, it’s quiet and very safe. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. It’s a massive property and they have a gold cart service that’s fast and easy to use. Check in did take some time but they were helpful and did a thorough job. If you’re looking for a relaxing clean and quiet place to unplug, this is the spot.
• Bondgirlie4 (10/5): Amazing, amazing, amazing! - We have only just arrived here in the 3 bedroom Residences at Vista Encantada and it is simply FABULOUS….and that’s Day 1 !!!🤪 A huge, huge thankyou to Estefania Aviles who reached out to me a couple of days ago in an effort to make our stay as perfect as it could be ….and she really didn’t disappoint! 🩷 There is currently some building work here (not that I’ve seen it yet) but we also feel like the resort isn’t busy at all given the time of year and it’s so refreshing to not have lots of people everywhere ! We’ve had a look around the resort and eaten in the sushi restaurant and we cannot find fault with any part of it at all …it’s just fantastic and I’m so excited to see what the rest of the week will bring . The Rooftop pool is the most beautiful pool I’ve ever seen (apparently no.11 best rooftop pool in the world ) and we will definitely be spending time up there ! For now, I felt I just needed to write something but I’ll definitely be back soon . Huge thanks to our incredible Butler Daniel, Estefania who arranged our fabulous Villa , Dane who works in the back offices who my initial contact and emails were with, Cristina and Luis at the front desk! You’re all stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• Q7674GWmauriciom (10/5): Amazing resort with fantastic staff and amenities! - My wife, myself and wife’s entire family stayed here the first week in August. Hands down a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning. The drinks were amazing and staff were very friendly/helpful. The food was PHENOMENAL! Especially the steakhouse. The poolside restaurants offered delicious snacking foods like nachos, wings, burgers etc.. that were all amazing quality. They even have restaurants out in the Marina that are included in your All-Inclusive! This place is worth it for the food and drinks alone! Now for the few downsides: - Due to its location, there is no swimmable beach nearby. This isn’t really specific to the resort, as that’s the majority of resorts in Cabo. They do have free daily shuttle to their sister property in the Marina that IS within walking distance to Medano Beach. You also have all-inclusive privileges there. - Not easily walk-able. Again, not an issue with the resort itself but more so its location. It’s literally placed on the side a cliff (which gives you breathtaking views!). But because of that, you essentially need to have Golf-Carts take you everywhere. Not that big of a deal, as the staff are extremely friendly and pretty fast. You can call from your room and generally have transport within 10 mins. All in all, we had an amazing time and I will definitely stay here again (unlike Pueblo-Bonito which we also stayed at…. Have a review there too. The worst resort in Cabo). I can’t recommend this place enough!
• samuel hernandez (2/5): - Run don’t walk away from this place. We have a family vacation where we booked 3 rooms. Ready to have fun together when you walk in it looks massive/impressive but you are quickly soured with the taste of someone selling you a TIMESHARE or Real estate opportunities. This is also not the only time you will be asked of this. It will be a constant theme of your stay. On top of that bad service and terrible food. It’s sad that this place has any stars at all. We were all so disappointed with our stay that we spoke with the manager on site. Which at the time was very nice and tried to be accommodating but it was too much bad. Service had a lot of bad but the worst came at lunch when your in the middle of giving your order and the person stops you to take another persons order, gives attitude and then get served extremely burnt and also raw food. The manager David Medina had said if he could he would refund us our money but we had to go through Expedia first. Called Expedia and he’s the one that denied our claim. In the end it was a lesson learned We ended up at the Hyatt Ziva and they were fantastic! Such a change from the extreme salesman and bad attitude

We checked in a few days ago and they upgraded us to a better room and worked out well for my family. The atmosphere of being in a relaxed place has not changed. The cleanliness, the quality of food, and the service to us has been nothing but exceptional. I’m glad I returned. And it was great to see familiar faces from the staff. That tells you a lot when the employees are still here. Again this place is a gem and has been added to our itinerary when ever we come to Los Cabos. Thank you to all the staff for being excellent!!

I’ll mention some names I recall, but truly, everyone was amazing. ***Juan and Ramon at El Ferno Pizza Place, along with the entire kitchen crew, were fantastic. Ariel, Adrian, and their assistant (the young lady) made the entertainment unforgettable. ****Brian my dear friend at Roscos, as well as Cesar and Michelle at the Mexican Grill, were exceptional (and my apologies to anyone whose name I forgot to mention) including all wonderful kitchen crew and cleaning team(Rosa) always smiling and nice. Don’t miss the spa—it’s incredible and far beyond your typical spa experience. Thank you, and we will be back! Just a small recommendation for the owner: consider adding a glass roof over the entrance tables at the Italian restaurant by the pool, and don’t close the infinity pool at 6, Thank you.

• LCColburn (6/5): Sleepy resort - Be prepared to WAIT for everything. If you have expectations to sit and enjoy the scenery this place is for you!! I’m going to be super honest. 1. Dinners are reservation only and will take minimum of 2 hours. Food is average. Make reservations the minute you check in or there is nothing and if you show up to restaurant they won’t take you even with empty tables 2. Pool service is SLOW if you are able to get served. Keep tabs of your towels or you will lose towels service rest of trip. 3. Be prepared to walk as shuttles are scarce or take forever. Bring comfy shoes. 4. All restaurants and bars close by 10pm, no exceptions. 5. All inclusive is not all inclusive unless you upgrade. The staff seem to want to always sell you something or up-charge. There is an employee outside hotel rooms who attempt to get you to do timeshare presentations every time you come out. Do: Meztizo restaurant has air conditioning and a beautiful view. The rooftop pool at connecting resort is stunning. This was an upgrade privilege. Adult pool has an amazing view Hotel lobby bar is only place to get decent cocktails that are not watered down. The sister restaurants downtown have good food, but again you will be there a long time! The grounds are well kept and cleaning services was excellent.

Miguel at the Lobby Bar is an artful mixologist, ask for his famous Old Fashion. Juan de Dios at il Forno pool bar was like a personal concierge. When he found out it was my birthday he arranged a special treat, also got us reservations for the evening, and told them about my birthday - another treat. He did not let our drinks run out, both water and adult beverages. We met some great folks while we were here. Enjoyed 2 massages while we were here and both Olivia and Leticia worked wonders with deep tissue treatments. The views, the food, the service is all world-class. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort.
