- Fiona (10/5): Overall l thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I wish we had the time to stay a week. There’s so much to do and see in Daylesford - The property had a beautiful views, l really felt like l was getting away and had the privacy l needed.
The water pressure in the shower was amazing. So was the heater in the bathroom. The kitchen tap was noisy when turned on, l needed to add a higher pressure to make the tap run quieter.

Cute cottage with all trimings and more Would have appreciated another set of towels. We only had 1 and it was a abit annoying using the aame towel for showering and the spa

- Sally (10/5): It is a lovely, relaxing home. - We were impressed by the outdoor spa bath; aircon on arrival on a hot day; the neat, cozy comfortable environment; Netflix and streaming access with decent free wifi; and the interior decor was lovely also. Perhaps an update on the Daylesford brochure folders but otherwise everything was superb.
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sean (8/5): Would definitely recommend to others :) - Great for a short break in Daylesford. Well equipped with everything that you need to have a comfortable stay. Clean, quiet, spacious. Great location with easy parking also. Hosts provided alcoholic bubbles and bath bomb for the outside bath - this was a lovely touch. Couldn’t connect to the WiFi during our stay on any devices (no network was found), which meant the TV apps also didn’t work.
- Sally (10/5): Amazing!!! - We were very impressed firstly the cottage had the heating on for our arrival The cleanliness comfort and location was wonderful and the spa bath on the decking exceptional I have forwarded the link to friends and family members
- Jack (10/5): The cottage was beautiful, we would definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends. - The outside bath was a nice addition to the cottage. It provided tv apps like Netflix and Stan which was lovely to watch a movie and relax on the couch at night. Theres nothing I could fault.
- Georgia (8/5): Cosy winter weekend getaway. - Nice cosy cottage, perfect for a weekend away out of the city felt like a home away from home. Facilities were great including the spa bath and the gift of sparkling in the fridge. Not much that we didn’t like, could have been a more accessible//closer walk to the town then I assumed but no issues.
- Baxter (9/5): Superb -
- Stacey (9/5): Superb -

- Susan (9/5): Great quiet place to relax and recharge. - Great location just outside the CBD but close enough to travel there. All services required for a Great stay were available. Only thing was toilet location.
- Anna (5/5): Pleasant stay - Location was very close to everything and it was easy to access the keys. They provided lots of towels and liked how there were bags provided for nappies. Felt very cosy. The handwash wasn't refilled. there was a brown stain on the bed sheet, lots of hair on the corners of the bathroom floor, found a massive huntsman spider in the bedroom, jacuzzi and carpets were not very clean. Wish there were bin liners provided. We had to go and buy our own.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Narelle (8/5): Very good -
- Stefanie (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect. Nice and peaceful and close to the town if we needed something. The cottage itself was clean and tidy. It felt like home away from home. Nothing at all.
- Elaine (8/5): Very pleasant and just fitted fir the purpose. - The beautiful views Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Very accommodating, cosy and clean. - Spa bath out on the decking. The complementary champagne is always a very nice touch and thoughtful gift, that is given to guest when staying at Briars Cottage. Can’t think of anything
- Tracy (8/5): Lovely and peaceful. - Lovely, quiet and you would think you were out in the bush. The bed was a little firm for my liking.

- Jessica (9/5): definitely recommended. beautiful night sky view from the balcony. - peaceful and quiet place to relax. Di and Duncan are very responsive and easily reachable!
- Kerry (10/5): - Loved the spa bath on the balcony. Thank-you, also, for all the bits and pieces in the pantry and frig.
- Casseym (10/5): Great little cottage - The out door spa was amazing
Big comfy towels
Bed was really comfy
- Charla (8/5): serene and peaceful house close to township - close proximity to Daylesford shops and restaurants . well stocked kitchen. big master ensuite. air conditioning in main areas and bedroom. bush land views. mattress is soft in master bedroom, although spa bath is on the back veranda, there are several neighbours, so measures are taken to block them out, including the view of the bush land. there is a sitting area however as well, and a separate bbq area,so the views are unobstructed from there.
- Charlotte (9/5): So lovely to get away :) - Lovely champagne and chocolates, great bath! Good towels! Maybe a bit of additional dusting and a few nails sticking out on the decking.
- Janette (4/5): Disappointing - It smelt as soon as we got in the door like pee was really hot upstairs spa was dirty, the fry pans and some plates were not clean.
Only one towel each and the bathroom was too small with the toilet too close to the shower.
- Suraj (4/5): Disappointing - Good location. Quiet place Spa was very dirty.
Not at all as photos
- Danni (10/5): Absolutely amazing! Beautiful view the scenery was amazing and the cottage was absolutely gorgeous! -

- Parneet (9/5): Superb -
- Ots (8/5): Very good -
- Maggie (9/5): Superb -
- Tegan (7/5): Good - the surroundings were lovely
loved the size of the shower
spa looked good, however we didn’t get to utilise it as it was pouring with rain
good sized accommodations bed was way too soft for us, so not as restful as we had hoped
bedroom window wouldn’t open
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (8/5): Very good -
- Pallavee (10/5): We'll come back :) - Beautiful little cottage. Cleanliness on point. The bedroom was decent size and we could accommodate our 2 year old baby with us. Little details like chocolate, Chardonnay bottle (even though we don't drink alcohol), tealight candles by the sauna and the bath bomb were really sweet little gestures which we absolutely loved. The cottage is 3 mins drive to Coles supermarket, which is great! The cottage was so cozy that we spent the whole 2 days relaxing and chilling, instead of going outside. The botanical garden, beautiful daylesford lake, trentham falls etc are very near. Our highlight was the sauna. I thought it wouldn't be a great idea in the 3 degrees weather. But despite being outdoor it's so warm and cozy and totally worth it!
