Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec beaucoup de choix. On a pu laisser nos bagages le temps de notre séjour à Sapa et notre séjour à Ninh binh. - Ma. Sofia Issabelle (10/5): Great hospitality overall — still a 10/10 stay for us. - For our very first trip to Vietnam, Golden Rooster gave us such a warm and pleasant experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would still gladly rate them 10/10. What we liked: • Great location – It’s in the Old Quarter but on the quieter side, so mornings weren’t too noisy or crowded. Soundproofing could still be improved a bit, though I understand the building may already be older in structure. • Very responsive and accommodating staff – From the time we booked until the end of our stay, the front desk was always helpful and responsive. They also allowed us to leave some luggage during our 3-day Sapa trip and accommodated our bags again after checkout while waiting for our evening flight. • Convenient tour arrangements – It was nice being able to arrange tours directly through the hotel instead of coordinating with multiple places. Tour package was good and private. Worth it! • Rooms were decent and comfortable – Our first room (family room) was decent and had a large private balcony, while one of our rooms for our last day was upgraded to a more modern and spacious space. The only small issues we encountered were the stairs to the 7th floor room, the unusually high toilet in the first room, and the aircon not working on checkout day in the upgraded room. Nonetheless, room and beds were decent for us (heights of 5’4 to 5’8). Could be improved: • Breakfast variety – The breakfast was sufficient and had staples like bread, fruits, rice/noodles, eggs, crepes, coffee, and some fried dishes, but adding more protein options would make it even better. • Accounting of balances/deposits – There was some confusion regarding our remaining balance, which led us to pay everything via credit card and incur an additional 4% surcharge. A clearer accounting system for deposits would definitely help.

- Abhishek (10/5): - Central location, value for money, clean rooms. The road is very small, so there might be some traffic on the road, which makes it very difficult for Grab or any bus to pick up from the hotel.
- Hawk0013 (9/5): - Die Lage, war Mitten in der Altstadt und man konnte zu fuß vieles selbst erkunden/erleben. Die Angeschlossen Terrasse an 703 war cool und sehr hell erläutert, sodass man dort auch abends gut aufhalten konnte. Die 7 Etage ist nur mit einer engen Treppe erreichbar. Die 6 Etage aber mit Fahrstuhl😅 Die Stromstecker waren in 703 alt und man musste immer wieder nachschauen, ob es lädt, da die Stecker nicht fest waren. Es war auch ein wenig unpraktisch, dass im Zimmer 703 die Toilette in der Dusche war 😅 Das Toilette Papier, was man *nicht* in die Toilette packen darf aber nach der Arsch-Dusche zum trocken da war, war komplett durchnässt nach der Dusche. Der Wasserdruck, da man in der obersten Etage war, war teilweise sehr gering. Für 702 gibt es nix zu beanstanden.

- Arlenis (10/5): Muy buena opcion de hospedaje en Hanoi - El personal del hotel es muy amable y educado; especialmente Linda hizo todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuese placentera. La ubicación es muy céntrica: se puede caminar a la Train Street, al mercado nocturno, a buenos restaurantes cerca, y está casi al lado de un bonito spa. El desayuno incluido estaba rico y llenador Nos dieron la opción de lavandería a buen precio y pudimos resguardar más lametas grandes mientras fuimos a Halong Bay. Sin duda alguna una excelente opción de hospedaje en Hanoi Nuestra habitación tenía olor a comida desde muy temprano; quizás estaba cerca de la cocina. Sin embargo, yo no pedí cambio de habitación, porque solo llegabamos a ducharnos y dormir, pero si eres muy sensible a los olores, quizás sea bueno mencionarlo al check-in.

- Abhishek (10/5): Relaxed, fulfilling and easy to walk around the city. - The Hotel Golden Rooster first thing its very centrally located in the old quarter area, everything in this area where you wanna go is at walking distance. Many restaurants, coffee shops and convenience store around the hotel so the location of the hotel is excellent. You can have a foot massage at the end of your day which is easily available in 100 mitre radius, as I am sure you will be walking a lot. All the hotel staff are very kind and very helpful. When we arrived, it was early in the morning so off course the hotel was not ready, the staff was kind enough to keep our bags and gave us the city map and explained all the locations which we are visit. They also recommended some good spots to eat and have famous egg coffee and salt coffee. When we came back, they had upgraded us to the better room which made my wife very happy. We were coming in and out of the city so we had stayed in this hotel in few intervals, and our overall stay at this hotel was very fulfilling. Kudos to the entire hotel team.

We travelled as a family of six, including a 5-month-old baby, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even sterilising baby bottles on request and upgrading us to a spacious family room. From the warm greeting on arrival to helping with luggage and storing it for us on our check-out day, every interaction with the staff was exceptional. Their attentiveness and genuine care really stood out. The included breakfast was another great bonus—plenty of options and more than enough to keep us energised for a full day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi, especially families!

- Elli (10/5): Amazing! - we were really happy with our stay here! the room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. AC worked well and breakfast was amazing with various options. it’s also well located right in the old quarter. staff was really nice, they let us store our luggage before check in and after check out, they gave us a lot of great recommendations and even let us use the shower again before we had to leave for our night bus. we would definitely come here again!

- Niamh (10/5): Big slay - Location is good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary snacks in the lobby. Our room had a low ceiling, but that’s normal for a hotel in the old quarter. There is no window in the economy room so don’t book if you want a window.

- Assila (9/5): Hotel au top - L’Équipe est adorable. On était très bien accueilli. Le petit dej est très bien. Les chambres propres. Un petit peu brouillantes mais je crois que c’est la ville qui est comme ça généralement. Ils sont très disponibles pour toute question ou demande d’aide. Nous avons eu un contretemps sur le trajet. On a pris un transfert organisé par l’hotel pour se rendre à l’aéroport mais nous avons mis le double su temps prévue à cause ses bouchons. Nous avons failli perdre notre avion. L’hotel nous a pas lâché et il est resté en contact avec nous et avec le driver jusqu’à au moment de notre arrivée dans l’avion. Merci au driver et à la reception de l’hôtel.

- Siham (8/5): - Pour les deux premières nuits, nouas avions pris une chambre economique sans le savoir. Plafond très bas odeurs des cuisines et bruyantes. Par contre pour les deux autres nuits nous avons pris les chambres standard qui sont top, spacieuse confortable, propre pas de bruit. Je recommande vraiment cet hotel. L'emplacement est ideal. Le personnel est vraiment bienveillant et gentil mais je pense que c'est tout simplement l'hospitalité vietnamienne. Je reprendrai cet hotel sans hesiter ( mais plus de chambre economique ) Chambre economique à eviter.
