La seule chose négative du séjour n’avait rien à voir avec notre hôtel , ni le logement , nos voisins étaient malheureusement très bruyants le soir /nuit.

• Milovan (10/5): Savrsen boravak - Sve nam se dopalo. Godpodja Barbara je divna, uvijek tu za sve sto vam treba. Sve je cisto, uredno, odrzavano, prosto prelijepo. Kada smo stigli, docekao nas je Barbarin sin, pomogao nam da se smjestimo, sve nam pokazao, objasnio. Pokloni, vino i domace madlinovo ulje nas je cekalo na stolu. Zaista nemamo nikakvu zamjerku, naprotiv sve je bilo za 10. Vidimo se opet... Ne postoji nista sto nam se nije dopalo
• Chris (10/5): Tuscan paradise - What an amazing place to stay. Perfectly located for the lovely small city of Pistoia and its charming zoo, and the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. Day trips to Florence and Pisa are also very manageable if you don't want to just sit by the wonderful pool. There are also great walks in the countryside around. Barbara, the owner, gave us a delightful welcome and arranged croissants and coffee for the first morning for us because we arrived late at night. She was always there if any help was needed. Although other people do stay there, it still felt like everyone had enough space and privacy. Nothing

From the moment we arrived, Barbara made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure both we and our family were well looked after throughout. The house itself was comfortable, spotless, and had a really warm, inviting feel to it — you immediately feel at home. There was plenty of space, which was perfect for us travelling with a toddler, giving them lots of room to safely run around and play. The hot tub was a real highlight — absolutely brilliant and a great way to relax in the evenings. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We’d highly recommend this stay and will definitely be looking to return in the future. Nothing

• Anders (10/5): Vi har haft en otroligt fin vecka i Borgo Casalvento. Avkopplande vistelse i genuin omgivning. - Ett mycket fint genuint toskanskt boende för hela familjen! Fina rum som har det man behöver. Egen uteplats med grill. Fina omgivningar med roliga aktiviteter för barnen så som gungor, foosball, pingisbord mm. Stor fint poolområde med sköna solstolar. Lyxig med Jacuzzi bad man fick boka gratis. Även att man kan boka/köpa bröd som levereras till frukost är toppen. Vägen för att ta sig till och från boendet är mycket smal och krokig.

• Luccas (5/5): Consider this if you want to spend most of the time using the amenities. Place is hard to access - The host and the location are amazing! It is a real "farm" stay for a relaxing vacation. If you do not plan on driving much around Tuscany, this can be the perfect place. We had a lot of bugs coming from all the places. In the US we call them stink bugs, crawling everywhere, including in between the bed sheets. Mosquitoes were also a big trouble. The biggest problem we had was the location, which although beautiful, it is a very tight climb with a lot of local drivers speeding up and down the hill. Also, I cannot put emphasis enough on how dangerous the driving there became for us one night. We were driving back to the house and as we approached it uphill, the road was blocked due to construction (we were not warned by the host and Google Maps was also unaware of it), and we got blocked on a tight road with no phone service. After returning to the local town to get phone service, the host was unavailable to answer, so we got a new route on Google Maps, which rerouted us to an extremely dangerous off road / gravel path by the cliff, which we got lucky to not have gotten stuck or have gotten a tree blocking us, falling on the car or have the car sliding down the cliff. There was absolutely no way of reversing or U turning to get back, so we had to proceed, which lead to damages to the car and extreme risk to our lives.

• Anke (9/5): Wir haben uns bei euch sehr wohl gefühlt! Mille Grazie - Wunderschön hergerichteter, sehr gepflegter Hof der aus einigen wenigen Wohneinheiten und toller Gartenanlage besteht. Super Lage in den Hügeln der Toskana, umgeben von Öl- und Weinplantagen in gut erreichbarer Nähe zu tollen Städten wie Pisa, Lucca und dem schöne Florenz… und ganz nah, das bezaubernde Pistoia. Barbara und ihre Familie sind super freundliche Gastgeber und jeden Tag vor Ort und ansprechbar und hilfsbereit für alle Fragen.
• Maurits (10/5): Een zorgeloze, ontspannen vakantie op een kindvriendelijk complex met geweldige service! - Wat ons het meest beviel, is dat werkelijk overal over nagedacht is. Het appartement was ruim en comfortabel, met genoeg plek voor het hele gezin, inclusief twee badkamers en alles wat je nodig hebt in huis. Ook het complex zelf voelde fijn en overzichtelijk aan: kleinschalig, goed onderhouden en toch groot genoeg om niet druk aan te voelen. Voor de kinderen was het ideaal: een extra zwembad speciaal voor kleintjes, voldoende speelvoorzieningen en een hek om het grote zwembad zodat je met een gerust hart kon ontspannen. Voor de ouders waren er ook fijne extra’s, zoals de jacuzzi die je kon huren en altijd voldoende ligbedden bij het zwembad. De service verdient echt een compliment. De broodjesservice en het bestellen van wijn waren al een luxe, maar Barbera maakte het helemaal bijzonder door zelfs postzegels voor ons te regelen en onze kaarten op de bus te doen. Dat persoonlijke en warme maakt het verblijf extra speciaal. Alles bij elkaar gaf ons echt het gevoel van zorgeloos vakantie vieren. Eigenlijk viel er maar weinig tegen tijdens ons verblijf. Het enige minpuntje was dat de wifi op het terras bij ons appartement niet altijd goed werkte, waardoor we daar wat minder gebruik van konden maken. Ook lag ons appartement aan een weg waar ’s avonds soms auto’s hard voorbij reden, waardoor we ervoor kozen om de ramen dicht te houden tijdens het slapen. Maar afgezien van deze kleine puntjes hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad en overheersen vooral de positieve ervaringen!

• An (10/5): - Prachtig, zeer ruim appartement! Heel mooi gerenoveerd en toch de authentieke stijl behouden. Het huisje is voorzien van airco in de slaapkamers en in de leefruimte isolerende houten luiken. Perfect om de hitte buiten te houden. Het domein is heel goed onderhouden. Voor Barbara en haar mensen is geen moeite te veel. Niets viel tegen! Alles prima. Als we dan nog een suggestie mogen doen, is het bijvoorbeeld een afdak boven de parking zodat de auto uit de zon staat.

Barbara is super frie - I liked everything, from the surroundings, the views, the jacuzzi, apartment and of course the hosting. Barbara was super friendly and helpful from the very beginning. She received us with a bottle of wine and olive oil. We also used the bread service and was great. honestly everything was wonderful, very peaceful and private. I fully recommend and would come back. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to use the pool, but we enjoyed the jacuzzi twice. Everything was great.

The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there with the view over olive grove across on the hill. Barbara and Max were very friendly and welcoming hosts, thank you 🙏🏻 The view from our house was superb too! The territory is well maintained and has children play zone. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone but especially to the families with kids. -

• Gabor (10/5): A little tresurebox in Tuscany - Everything. The hotel is very cozy located on a top of the hill with amazing garden, a swimming pool and outdoor sauna. Nice and spacious apartments with very traditional settings. The hotel stuff/Owner was exceptionally nice and helpful. I cetrainly recommend staying there and I hope we can return one day again. • Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - It's a handsome hilltop holiday base with glorious pools, olive trees, freshly cut lawns and a children's play area. The owner (Barbara) is like a benevolent auntie and the gardener (didn't catch his name) is an interesting conversationalist who also brings fresh bread in the morning - strong combo. The small details make it stand out, for example the quality, firm mattresses (L'Aia house), good water pressure, mosquito blinds, toys for kids, free wine tasting. A very enjoyable and quiet stay with a toddler, made better if you have good neighbours as we did. Be aware that the idyllic hilltop location means driving switchback roads with a lot of blind corners. Baptism of fire if you just picked up your new rental. Supermarket is 15 mins drive away.

• Maciej (10/5): was a great stay - the situation of the facility is great. Lot of space around without anyone. View from the property is nice. Both pools and jacuzzi makes a lot. green garden with multiple plants and toys for kids. Kitchen of the apparent was fully equipped, beds where hard and comfy.

• Xander (9/5): Charming stay on top of a Tuscan hill! - On top of a scenic Tuscan hill lies a charming old barn converted into 4 apartments with spacious facilities (kitchen, dishwasher, cutlery, pots/pans etc.). 2 great pools and a large garden offer enough entertainment for a day. The bed felt wobbly.
