- Arno (10/5): Extremely comfortable and lovely place near Porto, walking distance from the Atlantic coast - At first we were hesitant about staying outside of the centre of Porto, but we didn't regret - it was a wonderful place! The apartment is very comfortable, everything is finished at a high standard. There are excellent breakfast, brunch and dinner options at walking distance and the Atlantic coast is at 5 minutes walking, allowing for fairytale like sunsets. I'm already looking forward to coming back here!

- Zaffanella (9/5): Charming home in a beautiful section of Porto. - Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. Common room was particularly nice and would be great if you traveled as a group. For me it became a good place to work while having a coffee. The first floor room had open windows to let fresh air in. That made it feel a little bit too exposed. It was a safe place, but it was somewhat awkward to have open windows and a shared patio.

Außerdem war der Kontakt mit der Besitzerin sehr nett und alle offenen Fragen wurden beantwortet. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung gut. Der Gemeinschaftsbereich und die Küche die man kollektiv benutzen darf ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Wenn wir nochmal in Porto sind werden wir sicher wieder kommen!

The location was perfect, few minutes to the main road with lots of cafes, the tram and across the road from sightseeing tour pick up. Beautiful walks along the sea front. if you want the option to cook yourself, lovely kitchen and dining area, and ability to chill in the upstairs communal space. The balcony was much smaller than expected 3fr wide and vertical tall hedg so not really somewhere to sit and relax but it was a clean nice space and as we were always out and about it wasn't necessarily a negative

We were given recommendations for tradiational Portuguese restaurants locally,, 2 of which we visited and both of which were excellent. As we were not flying until late on day of check out we asked if we could leave our bags for the day...we were not only able to do that which was great, but also were offered a delayed check out until 4pm so we could use the shower after being on the beach. A very charming property, clean and very bright...with aircon, very reasonably priced and only a 10 minute stroll from the main stretch of beaches on Foz. Nothing..all great

Rosario welcomed us and gave us excellent advices regarding restaurants and supermarket. She was very very helpful and available for us. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen very well equipped if you want to cook. Very safe location away from the crowd. No view at all. Our room was on the ground floor with a view in a very narrow street.

Our host and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful and made us want to stay an extra night! The common areas are beautiful upstairs with nice interior design touches. And we enjoyed our room that was cozy and quiet. It was nice to have a little outdoor area to sit outside and have meals or coffee. We would stay at the upstairs room if it was available as the balcony and room are airy and spacious. There is not anything we didn't like about our stay! We wish we could have stayed in the upstair room...

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely faultless!! Rosário and her staff provided the best experience we’ve ever had in Portugal. Casa das Laranjas is in an ideal location, with a bus stop 5mins to central Porto or to Matosinhos, some wonderful beaches, restaurants and shops. The house is spacious, has a wonderful kitchen to cook home made meals, and of course has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Incredibly hard to say goodbye, so agreed on a “see you later” and already planning our return. Thank you Rosário and team!!
