• Angela (10/5): Da muss ich länger bleiben 😍👌🏻 - Ich war total überrascht! Habe selten ein so detailverliebtes und rustikal-gemütliches Guesthouse gesehen. Es gibt so viel Kunst und Handarbeit zu bestaunen… Eine Nacht war fast zu kurz, um das Guesthouse mit all seinen Vorzügen gebührend geniessen zu können. 🥲 Nichts - es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Überraschend gut sogar.

Shops and Restaurants are close by. We enjoyed our stay very much. Bruno and Lily, Sydney Hmmm...let you know...still thinking...no negatives!!

Wir haben uns bereits von Anfang an sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer und die Ausstattung übertraf unsere Erwartungen, wow! Das Frühstück war vorzüglich und der Kaffee ausserordentlich gut.

• Miriam (10/5): Sehr gemütliches Guesthouse mit den besten Gastgebern - Very cozy guesthouse with the best hosts - Wir reisen viel, und dieses Guesthouse gehört definitiv zu den schönsten Unterkünften, in denen wir bisher waren. Sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit einem tollen vegetarischen Frühstück. Andi und Yuki sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren auf unserer Islandreise sogar zweimal hier – am Anfang und am Ende – und Andi hat uns extra angerufen, als Nordlichter zu sehen waren ❤️ Als mein Mann am Abreisetag am Flughafen einen Unfall hatte und ins Krankenhaus musste, haben sie sich sofort gekümmert, uns spontan noch eine Nacht ermöglicht und uns am nächsten Morgen zum Flughafen gefahren – das war alles andere als selbstverständlich. Auch die Hauskatzen waren ein kleines Highlight. Vielen Dank für alles - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! —————————————— We travel a lot, and this guesthouse is definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. It is very cozy, decorated with great attention to detail, and offers a wonderful vegetarian breakfast. Andi and Yuki are incredibly warm and helpful hosts. We actually stayed here twice during our Iceland trip – at the beginning and at the end – and Andi even called us when the northern lights were visible ❤️ When my husband had an accident at the airport on our departure day and had to go to the hospital, they immediately helped us, arranged another night for us on short notice, and even drove us to the airport the next morning – this was truly exceptional and meant a lot to us. The house cats were also a lovely highlight. Thank you so much for everything – we would love to come back!

Their lovely guesthouse is ideally located for the airport and travelling and was recommended to us by a family member. Lots of lovely local restaurants within walking distance. Hosts are so nice, friendly and attentive and have put so much care and effort into the decor. Host messaged to say the Northern Lights where above the garden, I leapt out of bed and got some pictures.... last night in Iceland, I was so grateful to get the message as we missed the lights every other night!!! thank you lovely 1x6 guesthouse!! The guesthouse is wonderfully presented and it felt so unique. The hot spring is amazing and toped off a wonderful hoilday. We didn't stay there longer. Not only that but a homemade chocolate with a little Icelandic flag in it greeted us upon arrival and an amazing show of Northern Lights right from the hot tub. We were here because of a cancelled flight and were thrilled to discover the town of Keflavík. We enjoyed the Viking World museum and the walk along the water leading up to it. Also loved the family cats and all the homemade artisan details. Not as convenient for public transport as we’d like. Shared baths weren’t an issue as they were two for three rooms.

Dommage que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de plus en profiter et de tester le magnifique bassin géothermique dans le jardin. Pas eu assez le temps d'en profiter... mais ils n'y sont pour rien 😄 A savoir qu'il y a 3 chambres dans le logement et que la salle de bain est commune. Dans notre cas on était seuls dans la maison... donc au top !

Lovely and cozy details--slippers, bathrobe, on-site geothermal pool and fantastic homemade breakfasts! Hosts are super friendly and provide excellent suggestions and help with arranging airport transport and Blue Lagoon. I can't wait to return! Absolutely nothing! My whole stay was exceptional.

• JUNHYUNG (10/5): 아이슬란드에서 지냈던 숙소중 가장 예쁜 숙소 - 아이슬란드 숙소들이 제각각의 매력을 가지고 있지만 이곳은 압도적으로 아름다웠다. 영화에나올법한 재미있고 멋진 인테리어를 가지고있는 집이다. 호스트인 andi는 매우친절했고 yukiyo의 아침식사는 참 맛있었다. 두마리의 고양이까지있다! 1박인데다가 늦게 체크인하는바람에 이 집에서 보낸 시간이 짧아 아쉬웠고 다시 아이슬란드에 간다면 꼭 다시 묵고싶다

• Jackson (10/5): Warm and special place to stay in Keflavik! - This is such a special place! We found 1x6 when our flight was canceled due to heavy snow. What a gift this was! Everything from the host’s care and hospitality to the art in every corner to the kitty co-host was delightful. We enjoyed the hot pool at night and truly appreciated the knock on our door to come see the northern lights, which were thought we’d missed on this trip. Our homemade breakfast was fresh and made with care. We would stay here again and got a longer duration.
• Maoro (9/5): Due piacevoli notti (la prima notte del nostro viaggio e l ultima notte) - La Guesthouse 1x6 si trova a pochi km dall aereoporto di Keflavik ed è una piacevole prima tappa per dormire in tranquillità prima di iniziare il viaggio nella bellissima islanda. Juki e Andi sono fin da subito stati molto cordiali, simpatici e disponibili, fin dal primo momento ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa. La struttura creata con materiale riciclato colorato ha reso l atmosfera ancora più piacevole e simpatica. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con del cioccolato fatto in casa e al mattino con il caffè preparato da Andi abbiamo ricevuto dei buonissimi biscotti a forma di islanda, in presenza del dolcissimo gatto ARIA. La struttura inoltre ha a disposizione una piscina di acqua naturale all aperto che noi purtoppo non abbiamo avuto modo di usare. Niente

• Erica (10/5): Welcoming, cosy, and very Icelandic - I loved the entire experience of this hotel - which began from the moment I booked. The owners immediately sent an email with a welcome, options, and add-ons for my experience. The made everything from pick-up and drop-off, to meals, to scheduling at the blue lagoon so easy. I really appreciated it because it was a last minute business trip through a country I'm not familiar with so their graciousness and hospitality was a treat. There were also lots of little touches that made the place so sweet (I won't mention them here - check out the place for yourself). But one kindness that stayed with me is that I arrived on a cold, rainy evening in late May and Andi, one of the owners, drove me into town so that I could grab dinner before bed without fighting the weather.
