Guest Reviews
- Paulina (10/5): - a very cozy place lack of sharp knives ;)
- Kylie (5/5): In need for maintenance - A beautiful location, except for one neighbour who we could see, you otherwise felt tucked away in the wilderness. The view from the balcony and living room was beautiful. You could sit there listening to the birds chirp. Despite this, still easy to get into town. The main bedroom was a great size, with own little balcony and view. The house is in need of some serious maintenance and a deep clean.
Whilst, the main surfaces had been wiped down, there was visible grime on the kitchen cupboards, range hood, powerpoints and handles, some of which we cleaned before we used. Kitchen only had 4 glass tumblers for a house supposed to sleep 7. Dishwasher missing wheels. One of the curtains had a tear.
The pillar supporting the observatory in the main bedroom has evidence of dirty water running down it. It had been wiped clean but not the top 10cm.
The shower head has been repaired before but was loose. The bathroom door handles were loose. We couldn't leave the bathroom and toilet doors open because the drains stank the whole house out. Even keeping them closed, there was still a obvious smell.
One bedroom had a missing fly screen with the handle broken off the window winder. The winder was at least present so you could still push it on and use if needed.
External lights didn't work. One of the keys in the locked box was very bent. Didn't need it thankfully!
Paid and booked through booking.com but then contacted for additional bond credit card details.
Contacted again to put the bins out for weekly garbage collection, being told we could be charged for excess waste if we didn't.
- Shwei (10/5): Beautiful and peaceful retreat - Quiet, beautiful location. Comfortable with good facilities. Nothing
- Kellie (10/5): Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday or to disconnect with nature. - It was so peaceful and the scenery was so beautiful. We stayed here for our wedding and it was the best place ever! Driveway was a little steep but it was 100% worth it.

- Dan (5/5): Lovely location but facilities not quite as advertised - The location was beautiful and quiet; the views across the valley were lovely and it was close enough to Leura Mall but still secluded. There was no info in the advertising of the property informing us that the astronomer/observatory option was not currently available - this was one of the main reasons we opted for this property, so we were quite disappointed. Also, the WiFi dropped out on the second morning of our stay and we could not get it working again for the rest of our stay, which also meant the smart TV couldn't be used. I sent a message about this via homhero.com.au (where we were required to register online), as this was the only contact info provided for the house, but there was no response to my message. The deck was also quite run down and in need of some maintenance.
- Shawn (10/5): It was amazing! - The location was beautiful. The house was very spacious. Some of the cookware were really old and didnt work with the induction stove.
- Ojeda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Puja (7/5): Good -
- Michele (9/5): Superb - perfect location, lovely and warm as it was cold and wet outside, facilities were very clean. great way to showcase the Blue Mountains to our UK family
