Family of four on a ski trip and was perfect. Easy check in and out. Was surprised on the negative reviews of this place - was excellent. Nothing.

TV had gliching issues; we reported on Friday, Saturday and Sunday but no one came to fix it. The agent said the TV repair guy is not responding.
We didnt have TV or internet for 3 days and it was really boring.

- Bhavin (10/5): Excellent stay - enjoyed our time with kids and the snow trips - The lake front was the best aspect of our stay. It snowed during our stay so was a beautiful sight with snow on lake front. Kids enjoyed playing with snow and generally outdoors. Some dishes, utensils were unclean

- Dennis (7/5): Overnight on Lake Crackenback - Beautiful setting on lakeshore. Good location just off the highway. Lots of activities available. Access card to pool and gym didn't work. No wood available for fire pit. Had to ring property manager with credit card details for the damage deposit.

the outside deck, watching kangaroos, deer, ducks, herons, and many other water birds from our waterfront deck area.
The chalet was really well equipped with kitchen utensils, platters, and bowls, to make meals easy to prepare.
We really enjoyed staying with our friends in such a lovely place.

The location is excellent and the resort is fabulous. The apartment/duplex is well located in the resort right on the lakefront. It has a well appointed kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and bed linen excellent.
- Jane (1/5): Unclean! Unhelpful! Disappointing beyond belief. - Location was great and Lake Crackenback resort facilities are excellent. Check in 4pm. First impressions – end of season, the staff have checked out – doorway full of leaves, floors not cleaned with footprints, dust, leaves and sticky goop. It’s ok though, Jan said it was “only a little dirty spot” but she didn’t stand in someone’s uncleaned spilled dinner in bare feet. At 5.10pm discovered the gas fireplace didn’t work. Batteries flat in starter remote. No backup. Phoned the number on the fridge. No answer. Texted the number used at check-in. No response. Emailed the address on the fridge and via Bookings. Sent photos of the unclean state – stovetop, dirty cups, greasy pots and the placemats with food stains - Jan said “they were only little stains”. I guess when you are paying for premium accommodation its important to have an agent with an eye for detail like Jan.
Jan did come the next day and change the heater battery and sent an email to say she had and “apologies the wood floors and stovetop not being cleaned properly”. When I asked why she didn’t address the cleanliness issue, her response “because I’m an agent, not a cleaner”. Jan also said we “didn’t need the heaters as it was warm when she went there”. The building has minimal insulation, so it is very warm during the day and icebox at night. And that sums up the level of service you can expect. Dirty and cold. Had she just sent someone to clean, this review would read quite differently. I could continue with the faults – bedroom heater didn’t work, tap in bath broken but it all comes down to poorly maintained premises managed by money grabbing agent with complete lack of customer care. The resort itself is a great location, has fabulous facilities but best book with the Crackenback Resort if you want to be looked after. And if you must stay – don’t forget your Chux and spray n wipe (neither provided) and a strong stomach. Booked/paid 6 nights, only stayed 3 – couldn’t wait to leave. Dont recommend any property managed by McGrath Snow Mountains

Lovely fire and fire pit.
Underfloor heating and fab upstairs bathroom. Very nicely designed house in a great resort So mean……3 dishwasher tablets, 2 bin liners….no kitchen touches eg olive oil.
At the price I would have expected more

Car parking by the neighbours needs to be better marked out. it was quite difficult to get out of the driveway.
