A very comfortable bed. Dear Booking.com Team, I recently stayed at I Love Art BNB and would like to share my experience, as it raised several concerns that I believe warrant your attention. Upon arrival, I encountered electrical issues—likely seasonal, given it was December—which left the space cold. Once the temperature stabilized, plugging in a hairdryer caused a complete power outage in the unit. Thankfully, after contacting Cristiana and locating the power boxes, we were able to restore electricity. The accommodation lacked basic amenities: no hand soap, no kitchen cleaning supplies, and no dish towel for drying. I had planned to prepare a few meals during my stay, but was informed on arrival that the cooktop and stove were non-functional or not to be used. There were no pots or pans, only a mismatched assortment of dishes and cutlery. Additionally, the listing initially stated that breakfast was included. However, upon arrival, I was told otherwise—and the booking confirmation reflected no meals. This discrepancy was frustrating. I strongly advise future guests to take a screenshot of the listing at the time of booking, as the information appears to change. There were also no coffee-making facilities—no kettle, machine, or even basic supplies—making it impossible to prepare coffee, even with your own ingredients. Most concerning of all, a staff member entered my room unannounced at 9:00 AM, which was a serious violation of my privacy and left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. I have filed a formal privacy complaint with both Booking.com and Airbnb, as this intrusion should never have occurred. I hope this feedback helps improve the accuracy of listings and the quality of guest experience. I would appreciate a response regarding how these issues will be addressed.

• Matthew (10/5): Clean, convenient and quiet. - It is a lovely place, on the third floor of a small building. Very well located close to the Bastioni di St. Remy, and several bars and restaurants. The road alongside (via Garibaldi) is pedestrianised so it's nice and quiet.

Sia la prima notte che la mattina successiva, il rumore di una televisione a volume altissimo è stato davvero fastidioso: sembrava quasi di averla direttamente in camera, e per di più con un volume superiore al normale. Il paradosso è che nella nostra stanza non era nemmeno presente un televisore. Questo non ci ha disturbato più di tanto, ma il contrasto è risultato piuttosto curioso. Devo però aggiungere che anche il motore della pompa di calore della camera accanto si è rivelato molto rumoroso e, la prima notte, non mi ha permesso di riposare bene. Fortunatamente, la seconda notte non è stato acceso e la situazione è risultata decisamente più tranquilla. Ipotizzo che fosse la pompa di calore della camera accanto, perché precedentemente abbiamo alloggiato proprio in quella stanza. Il rumore era lo stesso.

Letti e cuscini comodi. Mettetevi comodi e prendetevi un po' di tempo: - Sarsa comunicazione: l'host non si è mai presentato a noi e non ci ha mai presentato la struttura e i servizi offerti - Privacy zero: il bagno, descritto nell'annuncio come privato, in realtà era ad uso privato ma con accesso esterno alla camera e adiacente ad altra stanza. - Accessori e servizi: mancanza di zanzariere e di un lume da comodino. - Scarsa pulizia: non appena entrati in camera abbiamo segnalato la presenza di una federa del cuscino macchiata e bucata (come da foto). L'host, per le vie brevi e in maniera sgarbata, ci ha detto che secondo lui la federa era pulita e da lui cambiata personalmente, dicendo che la nostra segnalazione non era corretta. Solo dopo l'invio di foto ci è stata consegnata la federa pulita. Pertanto consideriamo il personale molto sgarbato nei modi e non professionale nella gestione di una criticità. - Gestione tassa di soggiorno: ci è stato chiesto di lasciare i contanti sul comodino per il pagamento della tassa di soggiorno (totale 6 euro) come da foto allegata e non ci è stata rilasciata alcuna ricevuta fiscale dell'importo pagato.

• Maya (10/5): Amazing! - The location is right in the old city, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The size of the room is big and spacious. We had our own washroom. The room has AC. The bed was comfortable . We had two chairs in the room and a coffee table. Enough closets to put our clothes. The wifi worked perfectly. The host was prompt in responding to our messages. The check in was easy. The host stored our bags for us before check in and after check out because we had a late flight. The balcony was my favorite spot in the house. It is right on the street, the plants gave it a character. This place felt like home. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge was divided and labeled so we get to put our things without mixing it up with others. I will stay in this place again. I recommend it. Nothing.

Separate bathroom (i didn't realise this until i arrived). The shower could not be made higher, no handsoap, only 1 x shampoo satchet, breakfast place only opened at 9am which meant I missed lots of breakfast when I had to get up early for trips.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and so much thought has gone into the décor of the room and the B&B which makes it special. Breakfast at the café was just enough and in a lovely spot to watch the goings on.

• Adeline (8/5): Very good - Lovely stay in Cagliari. This B&B is right in the city centre, walking distance from all main landmarks and well connected to the coast. Salvatore was a great host, he gave us many useful information and made us feel like at home. Italian Breakfast at the bar was excellent, nice selection of coffees, juices and Italian pastries. It tends to be quite loud in the morning (~8:30-9am). Sleeping with the window open, we could clearly hear people in the building talking.
• David (7/5): Central room with all facilities - The location is excellent, right in the centre of Cagliari. Breakfast is by voucher at a very good cafe nearby. The little terrace is shared, it is a pleasant space in the evening. There is no street noise in the bedroom, and the a/c is efficient. Finding the entrance is not easy. You need to look for a shop called "Louise" and the entrance is to the right. There is a full flight of stairs as soon as you open the door before getting to the lift. You sometimes feel you are intruding, since the kitchen is used by the owner. The kitchen appliances cannot be used, you have only an allocated space in the fridge. Cleaning is not done daily. Clean towels and soap top-up are at a charge following the first set. The host will not store your luggage if you arrive early or after departure.

• Janahav (9/5): Superb - Salvatore was very pleasant, he provided us with basic information about the area. The accommodation is close to the city center, but the windows of the room face a quiet courtyard. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. A common kitchen (not for cooking) and a terrace was available for all guests. Breakfast was served in a stylish cafe nearby. A small negative was that the walls of the room did not seal very well and we could hear if the neighbors were talking loudly or when they were walking along the common corridor.
• Klarasmkv (10/5): Road trip around the island - Busy but safe location - one of the main streets in the city centre, close to everywhere. Modern, nicely decorated, clean and quite room with private bathroom and AC. Shared terrace (lovely and roomy with flowers) and kitchen, both very clean and maintained-no need to worry. Friendly owner, living in the same building, he recommended us traditional and authentic restaurants. Breakfasts included, served in a close "Antico Caffè" (lovin it :) Nothing! Next time-again here! Il s'agit plus d'une chambre d'hôte que d'un hôtel. Chambre très propre et confortable, au calme. Super rapport qualité prix. L'hôte nous a donné des tickets pour prendre le petit déjeuner dans un restaurant à proximité. Très bien.

• Richard (10/5): I Love, I Love Art - A lovely place to stay In the heart of Cagliari shopping area Bars and restaurants within walking distance The rooms are on the 3rd floor, to which there is a lift. A lovely balcony for all to use, to watch the Sardinian life walk by. I was serenaded a couple of evenings by a busker in the street below, which was brilliant. My room was lovely, (Movie room) although had to share my room with Sophia Loren & Johnny Depp :-) Decoration throughout is quirky, which is possibly a reflection of the host Salvatore. But it is called "I Love Art" . Salvatore is a wonderful man, very helpful and happy to point out places to visit and eat. He lives on the second floor if you ever needed him. As for two out of my three nights, I was the only resident, I had the place to myself, which was wonderful. Salvatore isn't fluent in English, but certainly enough to get by and us not a problem (do not let that put you off) I would certainly recommend I Love Art, and will definitely be returning to Cagliari again soon. I had the best time ever.
• Peter (8/5): Good base for city break in Cagliari - The owner, Salvatore, gave us a great welcome and was very helpful and hospitable. The room was rather small and squeezed in with two others in close proximity, which meant noise travelled easily. The bed was very comfortable but the en-suite had a strange and pokey design. Breakfast was served at a nearby restaurant and was good. Location is perfect for a city break in Cagliari, and there is a great roof terrace.

Скромный, но очень приятный завтрак. Отель в самом центре старого города, у подножия Бастиона Сан Реми, на стритшопе, рядом огромное количество кафе, баров и ресторанов. Чекаут в 10.00, но мы оставили вещи в отеле, потом вернулись за ними, такси тоже заказали к этому отелю. Для проживания с целью осмотреть город подойдет точно.

• Paolo (10/5): Perfetto - Struttura ricettiva in pieno centro pulita ed ordinata. Simpaticissimo il gestore che veramente si adopera con ogni consiglio per permettervi di avere un buon soggiorno. In moto o in auto arrivare a pochi metri del b&b percorrendo via Iglesias... Altamente consigliato.
