Guest Reviews

- Natalia (8/5): Good stay for a fair price - It was the cheapest option around the area and it didn’t disappoint. The location was good with supermarket near by, plenty of restaurants options and the shopping mall.
The room had a good size. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean just used with some marks on the wall, the floor was not in good condition in some parts but overall for a cheap hotel to spend the night it was great.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception is 24 hours and it had free coffee. It was all good for the value
- Margaret (5/5): - We were looking for the lowest price hotel option that was in Annapolis for a variety of reasons. This hotel met that criterion. Son rotted curtains. Loose flooring.
- Curtis (4/5): Might stay again for convenience but will bring a wifi booster. Wifi only worked in the hallway. - Location Poor Wifi, riff raff staying there, non smoking rooms
- Stephenson (7/5): - The staff

- Trina (7/5): I would stay here again - It was a comfortable nice stay Linking sink, seen a couple of bugs

- Wilson (8/5): Pleased. - Didn't have bf location was great Ice could have been on same floor as my RM had to travel to second floor.
- Green (7/5): -
Cero amabilidad
No era lo q esperábamos
- Luan (8/5): -
- Kimberly (3/5): - Convenient parking Room was very noisy , room needed to be remodeled
- Sidney (10/5): Great location - Location, easy to get to and from. Staff very friendly, I arrived early and was checked in with no problem.
Will be back when in area. Nothing
- William (1/5): - The room smelled of mold , my mom could not stay there. We checked in and checked right out out. They did give us a refund! Place needs a total renovation!
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Chamir (10/5): -
- Kevin (3/5): Overpriced for quality of Hotel, Good location - Location was great, walking distance to plenty of shopping and restaurants, staff was friendly Room had a musty smell, floor tiles were warped and picking up, sheets were dirty
- Elizabeth (2/5): - Unfortunately, I did wake up with a cockroach stuck to my arm. The hotel looked as if it was used in a horror film. If it was not in the area it is now, I wouldn’t have felt fully safe here. However, the staff was nice.
- Patrick (2/5): - This was the worst hotel/motel experience in my life. I was gouged paying 461.71 to stay 1 night at this roach infested hotel, which I am certain is a section 8 hotel. Killed 1 roach as soon as I walked into the bathroom and others throughout the night. The floor was buckled from what looks like water damage. Probably mold infested too. The curtains had cigarette burn holes. The price was so high because of the boat show and Navy vs Airforce football. There were no other hotels available, and we contemplated sleeping in the car.
- Kelly (8/5): - The surrounding grounds were littered with weird buckets and there was a man sitting on the front steps smoking in his hospital sox on my way to check in. Not a comfortable feeling
- Jeremy (2/5): - I left @ 0100 am because of the cockroaches running across my bed. The front desk would only offer a refund if I left so we did. I did not want roaches in my luggage to bring back home.
- john (8/5): - Staff helpful
- Cindy Perkins (8/5): -
- William (10/5): - Relaxing, thanks
- James (8/5): - I was looking to save money, and the property met my needs. Service was good and the room was clean, and I felt safe. But I would not stay there with my wife, or if I had kids.
- Theresa (2/5): Over charged - Checked in to get some sleep. Family member was at the local hospital was barely at the room an hour and had to go back to the hospital for an emergency. Was charged the nightly rate and hotel kept 100.00 security deposit. Never had that happen even at the better hilton hotels.

- damaris (5/5): -
- Ayala (5/5): -
- Kathryn (4/5): - location was verh good...it is a cheap hotel I expected that. AC was lousy.
- shirley (5/5): -
- Adan (10/5): - Good
- Verified traveler (4/5): No just no - Just an old outdated hotel with humidifiers in the hallway to help keep things drier I guess. Fridge totally frosted over, one dresser with a broken second drawer and most of the paint chipped off. Although things were as clean and straight as they could make them. Bathroom was clean but tiny with the tub being somewhat dangerous it was so small it sloped in on both sides where you stood. Will not return.
- LI (7/5): -
- Alejandra (7/5): -
- Michelle (2/5): Stay Away! Nasty! - The “black out” curtains had tons of holes that allowed light in, the sink had a crack and a sizable hole completely through it. It was one of the most rundown and nastiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The kicker is that while I prepaid with Hotels.com, they still have not taken the $100 deposit off my credit card and I have been charged. Beware Red Roof is a scam! Always check your credit card statements. I now have to spend time writing this review and babysitting someone to make sure I get my money back. Not my job.
- Phillip (2/5): - I expected three things - hot water, wifi, and a reasonably clean room. They delivered on one. The room was dirty, including dead bugs, a live slug, and paint chippings. The wifi signal was so weak as to essentially be non-existent and they vacuumed the hallway at midnight. Will never stay at a red roof inn again.
- Anne (10/5): - Old and worn but okay
- Amanda (4/5): - The property was in rough shape. The room smelled pretty bad(mold or something)and was very beat up. The bed and bathroom were clean at least. Ive stayed at red roof inns in the past and generally they dont look like this or cost anywhere near what i paid. Had i been staying multiple days, i probably would have left.
- Skye (4/5): - poor condition of the flooring, and general facil
- Humberto (2/5): Stay Away! - This hotel makes it really hard to use through Hotels.com, the front desk staff is rude and frankly fraudulent, they tried to keep the $100 deposit (per room) for no reason what so ever, I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel like the plague
- Stephanie (2/5): - stay away
- allessie (7/5): -
- train man (7/5): - there was no breakfest
- Vanessa (10/5): - I liked the landscaping, the greeting of the lobby staff upon check in, and 2 staff members in the lobby when checking out. The room was very nice and quiet. I am very pleased with this hotel. Thank you for making my stay great.
- Tella (1/5): - My clothes were stolen The agent were rude and they ended stolen my stuffs
- Debby (8/5): A Good Short Stay - We are grateful for our restful short stay. No perks, but the room was clean and were grateful for that. The king mattress caved in tpwards the middle, not shampoo or kcup.
- Richard (4/5): With my mother in a wheelchair it would have been too difficult for me to move to another hotel. - There was NO breakfast! First room we were put in the tub and sink filled with water. Bedspread had spots on it, blanket and curtains had cigarette holes in it. Walls in bathroom were not very clean. No shampoo in room.
They moved us when I asked for maintenance to come about sink. This room had a strong odor and warped floorboards easy to trip over,
On booking.com its posted Breakfast included, there is NO breakfast offered. And there was NO ice , Ice machine was broken the 4 days we were there.
- Lee (4/5): - The lobby area was very clean and lit but hallways and room very dim. The carpeting very old and worn and rooms very small.
- Jude (6/5): - Rough room with a lot of disrepair. Felt unsafe in the room and environs.
- Pasold (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Good - The linens were clean, the bed was comfortable, the price was affordable. The floor was in terrible shape, the lock was incredibly loose, the room smelled of stale water/waste, ANTS, the AC unit does not function properly.
- Oscar (2/5): Very poor -
- Walker (1/5): not good - bed bugs my wife and 2 kids got bites all over them in the bed they slept in
- Tarita (4/5): - The bed was horrible. The hot is cold and the cold is hot. AC did not work however, they were able to fix.
- Robert (1/5): Bad - The location is ideal The rooms smelt like mildew. I was in 2 different rooms. A dead roach was in the fridge and I killed one in the bathroom
- DANA (6/5): - Excellent check in staff. Old facility that needs remodeling. Dirty hallway carpet and dim lighting. Not the best bathroom amenities.
- Richard (4/5): - The room smelled like a dirty kitty litter box. It was a highly offensive odor. Also, the floors were clean but in poor condition, needing repair.
- todd (2/5): Roach Hotel - Hotel room 165 had roaches. The floor was buckled. Went to front desk next morning to inform them of the roaches and even showed pictures. Requested to speak to manager, was informed manager wouldn't be in til 10am so I stated we would reach out since we woukd be gone. Called 2 different times to speak with manager and left message but have never received a response.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Roaches.
- Erica (2/5): - I’m honestly almost scared to write this before receiving my security deposit back, which I’ve literally never been charged for before?
I will start with the positives:
My room was clean and the AC worked really well which is important on a hot day
Negatives:
-upon arrival there was a staff member sitting on the front stoop arguing with someone on her cellphone?
-the website I booked with said this hotel offered breakfast(which was the ONLY reason I chose it bc I have a toddler who wouldn’t want to wait to get dressed and drive first thing in the morning). When I asked front desk, they said all they offer is hot water for coffee and tea
-there is no lobby, so nowhere to set your luggage down
-there is no elevator. So I had to carry my 15 month old up and down several flights of stairs just to get my stuff in the room(no staff offered to help even once)
-front desk staff was incredibly rude. Tried to not accept my spouses credit card when they were the one paying for me and my daughter to stay there-even though we share a last name and it was from the same account as mine(but my chip fell out so the card doesn’t work)
-I literally witnessed a drug deal out by the back parking lot
-I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels with none of these problems.
-no one cleaned out the trash or gave me fresh towels
Honestly I just wouldn’t recommend it. I loved this trip and the hotel was the only downfall.
- Monica (7/5): Good -
- Kimberly (1/5): Do better - Only good thing was staff. Nice and friendly Building smelled of cat pee...moisture was so bad the doors were wet. Room was gross. Left after sleeping a few hours...keys wouldn't work anywhere. Had to get staff everytime.
- Edward (10/5): - Room smelled odd. Almost like body odor. Staff was great. Job had ended early and was able to get an early check in.
- Lucy (6/5): - Room smelled horrible. Not in very good shape floors are coming up and furniture all beat up. On a happy note bed was great
- Lyndsey (6/5): Pleasant -
- Asakegn (2/5): - I don’t recommend to no one
- Andrei (2/5): - Just bad
- Andrei (2/5): - Really bad customer service
- Andrei (2/5): - Customer service is extremely useless
- Stratakis (5/5): Passable - it needs major renovation
- Joey (9/5): Superb - Easy to area amenities
- Kenneth (8/5): - It was old and dated but very clean
- Mitchell (1/5): Bad - I had mold in my room made my fiance and myself sick
- Forth (4/5): Disappointing - It was baby roaches in the bathroom on the first floor where I stayed. 100 dollar deposit for the room . the drawers on the furniture was all broken an it was roaches in the bathroom.
- Elena (6/5): - This is where I normally stay when I travel but after this trip I don’t think I will stay there again. Room I had was very run down and there was bugs in the room.
- Mathew (4/5): Bare bones, adequate lodging. In short, a poor value for the price. - It was in a good location for our stay. No frills, outdated and somewhat halls, and furnishings, small room. No common area outside of the small office. Weak WiFi kept dropping out. Given the price, I expect a more luxurious hotel for the price.
- Sergei (6/5): Pleasant - Room has fridge
- Angela (6/5): It was very noisy on the hallways and in the parking lot. - The location was good. The hotel wasn’t clean. It needs renovation.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Aree (10/5): - The young lady working at the desk was fantastic. Please promote and recommend her.
The walls are thin and i heard the family next door the whole time.
- Jake (6/5): - We
- Karlonaitė (8/5): Very good - Good for the price The wifi did not work in the room but we got rooms switched for that reason
- Jason (6/5): - A typical old red roof inn. Shes got some miles on her but had everything i needed for 1 night and the location was great. Quick trip to annapolis and tons of stores and dining very close
- Melissa (6/5): - Not enough sockets to charge electronics. No receipt for the stay
- Moon (5/5): I did not have high expectations, your front desk check in was my highlight - I liked the extra effort the employee at the front desk offered when I I assumed the batteries in the remote did not work. I liked her entire attitude. BTW I could not turn the TV off when I left. Everything was as I expected.
- Richard (4/5): Disappointing -
- Cooper (1/5): Bad - We was getting bitten by some thing When we went and was trying to show staff she acted like she didn't want to hear it or see the bits
- Quallostro (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (4/5): - The first room's floor was buckled and dangerous. The mattress also smelled of urine. The second room was a little better and we did complete our stay. The floor was also buckling, but not as bad. They were not very clean either. On a good note, the staff was very nice.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asuncion (2/5): Very poor - Near shopping area When we got there they couldnt guarantee that our rooms were available even though they had been previously booked and paid. One of the rooms smelled like cigarettes though there was a no smoke sign, there were roaches everywhere.
- Yuriy (4/5): - Terrible smell in the room and a building as a whole. Will try to avoid that facility in future!
