She was under a great deal of pressure, with a full house and remained very professional 👏 Aaliyah offered the amenities of beverages and snacks without us having to ask for them. Kudos Aaliyah! There was no refrigerator in our room, but Aaliyah graciously gave a discount. The eggs at breakfast was a bit mushy. Not very appetizing.

- Paula (7/5): Room Service Is Not Good - Very clean and eco-friendly. The first 3 nights were staff friendly. We decided to stay an additional night and after checking back in, the staff totally ignored us on servicing our room. We had to go to the front desk and ask about clean towels. The front desk attendant asked me, "how many"? Needless to say, they were not the best on room service. We had to empty our own trash, if that's an indication.

- Brian (4/5): - A guy standing on a12 ladder trying to pressure wash the building, he was lucky but they should have rented a JLG and that job would have been safer. I have a picture with him in action. Also water pressure in the shower was insufficient, and cleaning rooms every other day. They should make customers aware that they only clean rooms every other day. And breakfast, if you're not there early(when they put it out) it's gone! I got down there at 745am, still didn't get anything.

- Suzanne (5/5): The staff and amenities were great, the room could use a bedside lamp and new mattress and pillows. - The staff was nice Once all the scent from laundered sheets wore off, the pillows and mattress had body odors. Hair was in sink. Parking was tough.
- GulfCoasTraveler (8/5): Perfectly Adequate for Budget Business Travel - I stay in a lot of mid-level class hotels across the gulf coast and this Tru is a good example. Amenities are basic but good, a/c works, TV functions, and it's close to everything you'd need including being right on the highway and down the road from a Buc-Ee's. It's several years old so you get the wear that comes with a working-class hotel but wasn't bad. Not the cleanest I've stayed in (I sanitize my own rooms and see the dirt/build-up), but not the worst. Beds are comfortable.

The microwave at the front desk was dirty. It look like it had not been cleaned for several days. - HMTraveler123 (2/5): Do not waste your money staying at this hotel! - I booked this hotel from June 26th-28th for a tennis tournament. I arrived Thursday night on June 26th at 10:30pm. I paid $192.69 for the following type of room: My room was dirty, the shower had hair in it. The comforter smelled like it was not washed, there was some type of rusty ooze dripping down my door, and the air was not blowing cold. I also took pictures of all of this to show to the manager. I went back downstairs and could not find anyone to ask to be switched to another room. In addition, there is only one ice maker in the hotel and it was in the main lobby, and there was no ice to be had in the evening or morning. I spoke to the manager in the morning showed her the pictures and she said sorry there is nothing she could do about it. I could not stay at this hotel another night. I checked out and went to another hotel. Hilton you should be ashamed to put your brand on this hotel. Do not waste your money staying here!!! This is by far the worst Hilton Hotel I ever stayed at. Sleeping in my car would have been a better choice!
- melvinm678 (6/5): First visit to Tru - I am a Hilton Honors member. Usually stay in Garden Inn but thought just one night and breakfast maybe I should try. Basic hotel, room was adequate, sort of felt like I was checking into a hostel. Breakfast was not good. Eggs offered was a Mexican type egg muffin with the meat being smoked sausage like kielbasa. Moving on, there was a pancake machine where you could wave your hand, it would plop two piles of batter on a conveyor belt, cook the pancake and dump them on a plate. So so pancake. Probably should have pai a little more and stayed at Hampton Inn

- LEENA (4/5): - The room was clean, and the hotel is located in a nice, quiet area. However, although I did not reserve a handicapped room, I was assigned one. This would have been fine if there hadn’t been several issues. The room did not have carpet (I'm not sure if this is typical for handicapped rooms), and the bathtub had two showers, but the main shower did not work properly—it did not provide hot water. Additionally, the room was connected to the adjacent room with a door that lacked proper soundproofing. I was woken up at 2 a.m. by loud music from the next room and couldn't get back to sleep due to the noise. I eventually had to call the front desk at 4 a.m. to ask them to address the issue.

- jonathant759 (10/5): A Tru Experience! - This is the first time we have stayed at a Tru by Hilton and it will likely not be the last. We found this to be a convenient location with a nice parking lot and landscaping--yes we always start our evaluations with the exterior. The lobby is spacious and inviting with a pool table, sitting areas, and plenty of room for the breakfast in addition to the check-in desk. Briana was very gracious in helping us modify our reservation. Our room was clean and everything worked. Water pressure was good and temperature was consistent. Breakfast was good--we particularly liked the pancake maker/machine which we had never encountered before.

It was clearly just an old property “updated” (using that term loosely), halls & rooms upstairs smelled like old smoke & mold, ac didn’t work & had a funky smell, blanket had what appeared to be a pee stain & blood on the ceiling by elevator. I mean come on Hilton are you trying to ruin your name !!???
