Location is very central to everything within walking distance to major attractions but just be very aware within the surroundings of the hotel as it’s not the best area. Jetted-tub was a bonus and it’s a clean property. Also, please include iron/ironing board or a portable steamer in the rooms as it was inconvenient not having one readily available.
• Jeffrey (8/5): - The property inside was great. Room size great and staff were exceptional. I did have difficulty finding the entrance to hotel No visible sign with hotel name. As well, every night of our stay between 11 pm and 1 am, there were people being quite loud outside our window. I would ask for a room not next to street.
• Aldo (2/5): - This was unfortunately the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I booked for 3 nights but ended up leaving after just one. The location felt extremely unsafe. The street outside constantly smelled of urine, and there were drug users and homeless people loitering around the entrance throughout the day. The hotel is only a few metres away from a very unsafe neighbourhood. Soundproofing was non-existent — I could hear people yelling, glass bottles breaking, and other disturbances all night long, making it impossible to sleep. There was also an issue with the toilet not flushing properly. The room itself was fairly clean and the staff were genuinely kind and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, everything else made my short stay unbearable, and I would not recommend this hotel.

O quarto não tem frigobar e o hotel não dispões de serviço de quarto ou restaurante. Disponibiliza água e café na recepção. A localização é estratégica mas o bairro é altamente degradado. É desconfortável circular pelas ruas estreitas, até de dia, pois a sensação é de insegurança.

• Andriana (10/5): - The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and kind. They quickly sorted an issue with our room- originally we were put in the wrong room and when we told them they immediately sorted the issue and we were moved to the correct room. All staff were so friendly and helpful and they spoke really good English. We enjoyed the coffee machine at the hotel which was also really convenient and we also loved the little patio space outside which was nice to enjoy in the evenings. The area felt slightly unsafe but this is not really a fault of the hotel. The hotel did feel safe although because the door would lock at night and you would have to use your room key to open the main hotel door. Sometimes noise from the streets surrounding was a bit loud but not really a big issue, especially if you’re not easily woken up. The interior of the hotel downstairs has been newly refurbished and is really nicely designed with beautiful lamps and tables- it made the space really enjoyable to have a coffee or read a book in.

La ciudad puede ayudar a estas gentes a tener un lugar para dormir y asearse? No nos gustó que la regadera esté abierta al dormitorio.

So for our full weeks holiday we were woken up to Jack hammering and smashing if glass and tiles (except for Sunday), staring before 7am which wasn't great for our relaxing holiday. Staff didn't even let us know this was happening when we checked in. Good location and the room was also nice. Just a shame about the building works

Our only complaint is that there was no blanket, only a thin sheet, and no back-up blanket anywhere in the room, so we were very cold at night.

The location was not the best as getting to the hotel was tricky with some main road construction simple but sufficient, good for a quick business stay.

Por otro lado, me dio un poco de estrés al salir dos veces de noche había homeless que se acercaban y preguntaban hora o pedían dinero. Fuera de eso la ubicación es en verdad excelente por que llegas caminando a la Plaza Catalunya y a todos los barrios importantes, el personal es excelente y la limpieza es también excelente, si lo recomiendo solo cuidado por la noche sobre todo mujeres solas como iba yo, creo que si van en grupo no se acercan

• Meg (8/5): - Good modern room with double bed for single occupancy. Walking distance to universitat metro station and 10 minutes walk to palaca de catalunya square. Restaurants and mini supermarkets nearby. Hotel offers free pasteties, hot tea and coffee and juice in the morning and throughout the day. Very comfortable bed and modern room with clean bathroom. Advice to walk on the main road from the metro station to the horel at night and avoid the narrow street due to the possibility of petty thief and pickpockets. A good hotel to base yourself for a few nights whilst exploring Barcelona.

Unfortunately, on day 2 (of total 5 nights), huge renovation started, making the stay rather uncomfortable. They should probably have closed down a few days instead or offered a huge discount. Thanks to incredibly welcoming and understanding staff, the overall experience is very good, as they arranged for a refund for almost half our stay! We could definitely stay here again when finished renovation.

• Sara (2/5): Very unsafe neighbourhood and noice from the hotel - We only stayed one night instead of the 4 planned nights. The hotel lobby was very run down, so not a great first impression. The hotel room was fine and looked similar to the pictures (a bit more used/run down, but that’s expected) One of the critical points that made us change hotel after just one night, was the fact that they had construction work going on, which started around 7-8 in the morning making it impossible to sleep in and it was still on going when we checked out. It was constant banging and drilling. Another critical point, was the area. When we arrived around 11 in the morning, the area seemed decent, not nice but okay. However, when we came back to the hotel around 10 at night it was feeling super unsafe. In the street where you enter the hotel, there were at least 5 homeless people laying around and right next door to the hotel there were people openly doing drugs on the street. The next day when we left the hotel a lot of homeless people and what looked like addicts, where still in the street of hotel and nearby streets. Very unsafe area and would never recommend booking a hotel in this neighbourhood, especially if solo travelling. The service of the staff was very good, so no complaints there. We requested a room with a bathtub, which they provided. They volunteered to helped with the baggage as we were only one present at the check in with two peoples baggage. They were still friendly when we wanted to check out before the planned stay.

Consiglio assolutamente, comoda anche la posizione essendoci la fermata della metro a 3 minuti a piedi e la fermata dell’aerobus a 10 minuti a piedi. Davvero comodo, unica pecca per la posizione, se siete ragazze che fate serata e tornate tardi muovetevi con Uber e fatevi lasciare il più davanti possibile all’hotel essendo situato in una vietta, ma niente di troppo allarmante

Ma non ostante ciò devo dire che la camera è molto pulita, le asciugamani vengono cambiate ogni giorno, all’interno della camera si trovano shampoo e saponi per le mani e il corpo. L’hotel offre molti servizi inclusi come il Wi-Fi e la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in hotel anche dopo il check out, in modo da poter visitare per l’ultima volta la città a piedi senza ingombri. Personale sempre cortese e gentile.

La regadera/jacuzzi está abierto sin cortina y el cuarto termina bastante mojado, las conexiones de energia y la distribución podria mejorar, por ejemplo tuve que mover un mueble para poder conectar la tetera eléctrica, no hay donde colgar las toallas, etc Son detallitos que harían mejor la habitación.

• Thomas (8/5): - L’hôtel correspond bien à l’annonce. Bien placé à quelques minutes de las Ramblas. Pas de mauvaise surprise. Le personnel est très agréable et souriant, autant au check-in qu’au check-out. Lors du check-out ils m’ont proposé de conserver mon bagage jusqu’a mon vol qui était tard le soir, ce qui était franchement super pratique. Ma chambre était disponible dès 13h au lieu des 15h indiqués ce qui était agréable. Chambre nettoyée chaque jour. Lit confortable. Les parties communes sont propres. Tous les équipements de la chambre étaient fonctionnels. La seule déception pourrait provenir du bruit, des voisins des chambres particulièrement bruyants en plein milieu de la nuit, mais ça aurait pu se produire dans n’importe quel hôtel. Et aussi des bruits de la rue, notamment des individus qui squattent la rue toute la nuit et pas en silence.. Globalement satisfait de mon séjour.

• Oscar (8/5): - Muy limpio y cerca del centro. Las paradas del metro estan muy cerca. Nos costó encontrarlo porque está situado en un callejón.
• Tammy (6/5): - Hotel itself was fine for the price …. Just in a sketchy area! Drug addicts and homeless area! Wish we would have known of the area before hand… didn’t feel safe walking to and from hotel!
• DANIELE (8/5): Good for the price in BCN for the end of June - The cleanness of the room should be improved (even under the bed). From the pictures on the website, it was not shown that the sink and the shower were in the middle of the bedroom (shower fenced by transparent glasses) without an efficient vapor fan. This cause the entire room to be steamy when taking a shower, and force you to turn on the AC (not very eco-friendly). Anyway the staff was very kind and available to satisfy all other needs.

• Florence (6/5): - The hotel safe was helpful and the room was clean. We felt very unsafe in the area
• Erblina (8/5): - Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Sie war sehr zentral und man han die Metro in der Nähe, auch ist man zu Fuss schnell unterwegs. Die Auststattung der Unterkunft war gut. Das Bett sehr bequem und wir haben jeden Tag ein frisches gereinigtes Zimmer gehabt. Nur am Abend ist die Gegend unsicher.

• Matthias (6/5): - Das Hotel befindet sich im Stadtteil Eixample, also zentral und doch relativ ruhig in einer Seitenstraße gelegen. Leider gibt es viele obdachlose Menschen in Barcelona, auch vor dem Hotel. Manchmal war es dadurch lauter, die Fenster sind nicht so gut isoliert, so dass man doch das Geschehen auf der Straße mitbekommt. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben. Freundlich und ansprechend. Von der Größe kleiner als angegeben. Das Bett ist sehr bequem.
