- Steven (2/5): dreadfall - after we paid for the stay with you the manager refused to give us a room and tried to downgrade us.he said the payment had not come through from you.
we had to argue,threathen to call the police .even though we showed him your proof of payment and the confirmation number you sent he refused to allow us access.It was not till after an hour that it showed on one of his friends computers somewhere that he apologised and let us have the room.i think his computers were down so he has your payment services von someone elses computer outside the hotel.As this happened late at night it was probabaly the worst experience we had in uganda dealing with him and the only issue weve ever had with hotels.com
- Verified traveler (6/5): Probleme mit der Reservierung - Wir hatten große Probleme mit der Reservierung. Als wir müde nach einem langen Tag beim Hotel ankamen, erklärte uns der Hotelmanager, dass leider keine Buchung vorliege. Er weigerte sich hartnäckig, die ausgedruckte Buchungsbestätigung plus Abbuchungsbeleg der Mastercard überhaupt anzusehen (!!!) - denn es liege ihm ja keine Buchung vor und er habe auch kein Geld erhalten. Wir haben daraufhin trotzdem eingecheckt, in der Hoffnung, dass sich alles noch klärt. Der Manager war zwar bereit, auf der ausgedruckten Buchung festzuhalten, dass er das Geld nicht erhalten habe und dies unterschrieb er auch. Doch er weigerte sich wiederum hartnäckig, dieses Dokument nun auch zu stempeln. Stempeln wollte er nur, wenn wir dann (nochmal) gezahlt hätten.
Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit hotel.com teilte der Manager uns am nächsten Tag mit, es habe sich um ein Versehen gehandelt und er würde das Geld nun doch erhalten.
Da wir beim Einchecken einem Upgrade zugestimmt hatten, wollten wir die Mehrkosten beim Auschecken mit der Kreditkarte bezahlen. Auch hierbei weigerte er sich wieder - bitte alles nur cash.
Abgesehen von diesen echten Unannehmlichkeiten bei der Reservierung muss man sagen: Das Hotel liegt einfach super und die Zimmer sind sehr schön.
