• Paz (8/5): Venice is unique - Apartment with a superb location. It was big enough for 4 people. Very central and close to San Marcos. I appreciated clean sheets & towels. One Bedroom had no wardrobe. One bathroom had only a bathtub without curtain. It’s certainly not as bright & clean as pictures are showing & needs some serious consideration for maintenance of: water heater, shutters, kitchen cleaning, and in my sincere opinion, getting the rid of all plastic flowers.

• Jay (8/5): Fantastic host, lovely, comfortable apartment, great location - Our host was excellent. She set up a WhatsApp group and was available to answer queries very quickly. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and the beds comfy. The bathrooms were spacious, well lit and the shower area was comfortable. The host provided good quality towels, a nice gift basket, and little things like kitchen roll, tea towel, dishwater tablets, washing up liquid and essential condiments, which was very thoughtful. The air conditioning was effective, which was great as it was very hot in Venice during our stay. The location was great - just a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and San Marco. Although the main door to the apartment is at street level, there are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment. This makes it challenging if you have large suitcases (which we did as we were on a long holiday) or mobility issues. The apartment details clearly mentions stairs, but I am mentioning it here so future guests are aware and prepared for its implications. The lighting in both bedrooms was inadequate and very uncomfortable. Impossible to read in bed unless you are using a backlit screen. A hook/shower holder and a shower curtain in the main bathroom would make a huge difference if you prefer a shower to a bath. The kettle was a stovetop one, which took ages to come to a boil and the handle got too hot, risking a burn. An electric kettle would be a better option.

• Chea (9/5): Great accomdations! - This was one of the best accommodations that we have visited.  Location is few mins walk from Rialto bridge.   An Osteria a few steps away serves variety of cicchetti as well as main dishes  Few mins walk to a very small expensive supermarket named Incoop (1500 ml water was €0.40!!) Other beverages were under €1 also  Easy walk to St Mark’s Square  Accommodations: 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. The ants are separated by a hallway so it’s like 2 private areas.  1 bedroom has a full bed and twin.  Bathroom has a shower stall.  Kitchen has all the basics.  Other side, the bedroom has a king bed and BR with bathtub and handheld shower heads. A bit tricky to take a shower since handheld is hip-height.  Digital entry for front door which makes it convenient.  We would definitely stay here again!!

• Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location - within 10 minutes walk of Piazza San Marco, Rialto and Fondamenta Nova. Plenty of space in the apartment. Although quite noisy in the early evenings, it was quiet at night. Kitchen facilities limited - hob and microwave but no oven and limited equipment. However, there are shops and plenty of reasonably priced restaurants within easy walking distance.
• Hamsam (10/5): Wonderful Venetian charm. - The apartment was very inviting and welcoming. The rooms are a comfortable size, the kitchen is equipped well to self-cater. It is two interconnecting units up a flight of steps. At the top on the left is a master bedroom with a generous sized bathroom that has a bath (no shower) and washing machine. Across the small landing is a unit with kitchen, sitting area, bathroom with a shower and another bedroom with two beds - 1 x double, 1 x single. We booked them both as interconnecting rooms and had a delightful apartment for our use. The location is very convenient. Would definitely stay there again. The central heating was set a little too high for our comfort despite attempts to turn it down. But the windows open to allow some fresh air, so all good.
• Margaret (10/5): Great Location - We had a lovely stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location - Near the Ponte Rialto and San Marco- with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The host sent check-in information early and even left a small gift at arrival. Having 2 full bathrooms is a definite bonus.

• Kevin (9/5): Excelent location and very clean apartment. - The apartment is in a great central location with access to all major tourist areas within minutes. There is a bar directly below that is open till 10pm and there is general noise until then but I found it quite soothing. After 10pm it is very quiet and we had no problem sleeping. The apartment was very clean and had all amenities needed. The only criticism I would have is that the single sofa could do with being upgraded. Apart from this we would have no problme staying here again. The hosts are very contactable and sent all information needed. A new sofa would be good.

• Judi (8/5): A good-sized apartment, very convenient for the main attractions, and location not too busy. - Location was very convenient, both for its closeness to facilities and also very easy to walk or catch the vaporetto. Although close to an osteria, the noise level was acceptable. Bedroom lighting not very good for reading. Also, an iron should have been provided but we were unable to find one.

• Hiba (7/5): It was a nice place, clean & well kept. - The location was great very close to Rialto bridge. Had two separate bathrooms. Host was very responsive and super helpful The Air conditioning was not sufficient. When we arrived the ACs were not turned on the cleaning staff I believe had turned them off it was super hot. Also the split ACs are not in the bedrooms, one is in the hall for the main bedroom and the second is in the hall for the second bedroom and it is supposed to cool the living room. After 3 hours the first one with the main bedroom cooled significantly, however the second bedroom remained hot. The host was very responsive came the next day with a fan and that helped with the cooling a lot

There was no coffee pot. Some outlets did not work. The bathroom with the walk in shower had a lot of black mold.
• Andrew (8/5): Great find in central Venice. - Spacious, clean, well equipped, nice welcome pack, good Wi-Fi, ease of access, good communication from owner, ease of access with only 1 flight of stairs and great location. Pillows a little hard, lack of comfortable seating in lounge was a slight issue.
• Christine (7/5): Central Venice Joy - The location, size of apartment & the historical aspect. Character was charming. A lovely welcome gift left by the host. The host was most attentive to all communication. Allowed us to stay an extra hour at checkout. Manuals were great to assist with everything. Very quiet though central. The only sofa is antiquated & most outdated & needs changing as other guests have mentioned. The main bathroom has a shower hose you have to hold, with no screen in the bath, hence unusable. The second shower floor has many cracks & mould on tiles that needs addressing.

And Venice is amazing. - I can highly recommend this property, the host is truly outstanding, she was always contactable and responded in a timely manner to each question we had. Her instructions on how to travel to and access the property were clear and easy to understand. The location was fantastic, two ferry stops from the train station and walking distance to all sites. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and there was only one flight of stairs to gain access. If I was lucky enough to visit Venice again I would definitely stay here again.
• Lisa (7/5): Good - The location of the property was fantastic. Not far from Rialto and gorgeous eating places. Having a washing machine was also fantastic. There needs to be more light in the property, it is very dark. It is advertised as 2 bathrooms. The second bathroom does not have a shower. It is a bath only. We used a spare pillow from the cupboard which smelt very musty. There was rubbish left in one of the bathroom bins. There is a bar of some sort very very close to the apartment. Can get noisey. Does quieten down fairly early though. Having to get rid of your own rubbish is very hard when you leave for the airport very early in the morning.
• Katherine (8/5): Great for exploring, big apartment, could do with a little tlc - great size apartment, good location, very comfy beds, everything you need is provided, lovely host who checked in by message each day, shower is fine Really loud bar nearby, was cleared by around 11.30pm each night but if you’re a light sleeper or have young kids it’s worth noting. Sofa really needs replacing, the apartment sleeps 5 people but the sofa is a 2 person sofa and has seen better days. More lighting in bedroom would be good too
• Brooke (10/5): Wonderful apartment in the heart of Venice. - Wonderful apartment located near the Rialto Bridge and near some fabulous pastry shops, restaurants and cafes. Nice large bedrooms and bathrooms. We like to cook some meals from market fresh ingredients while travelling, so appreciated the kitchen. Sofa needs to be upgraded and wold be nice to have screens in the windows to keep the mosquitoes out and fresh air in!

Located across from one of my favorite bars; so an added bonus! Lighting could have been better in the rooms.

My husband has mobility difficulties and there are two flights of stairs but he managed. He ran out of hot water for the bath, but other than those minor issues all went very well overall.

We left headphones in another Italian city. This host went out of his way to help get them back. We had them shipped to his wife's work and he hand-delivered to our apartment. Excellent, excellent, excellent service. My daughter so appreciated it. We loved the apartment too. We were able to spread out as a family. Air conditioning certainly helped! It felt like living authentically Italian which is what we wanted! All good!

Excellent information provided in the welcome pack. A bit short on exterior light, but for the sort visit where you want to get out during the day, not a problem.

• Mulhern (10/5): Amazing place to stay and Fabio was extremely helpful. - The apartment was awesome. It was very close to many shops and cafes. The beds were super comfortable as well as the pillows. It was also very big. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with a big kitchen/ eat in area. We absolutely loved everything about the apartment. I just wish we could have stayed there longer. Fabio was great too! He actually gave us great advice about buying a 3 day boat pass. Thank goodness we did too because it was extremely expensive to buy single boat passes. My only small complaint was that we couldn’t get the A/C cold enough in the smaller bedroom. But being from the U.S we are used to our A/C spitting ice cubes. But it gave enough relief from the heat wave from outside.

Full eating and tourist facilities close Golly, arrived in 36degree heat and there is no cold water (as promised). Not good enough!

• Bernadette (9/5): Lovely apartment, very good communication. - This is a lovely apartment, it really felt like a home, not just a rental. There are good quality furniture, linens, appliances etc and everything was spotlessly clean. There were even snacks and drinks set out for us! It was very easy to communicate with Marisa, she always responded promptly with answers to our questions. The apartment is well located to visit all the iconic spots in Venice and there are plenty of nice restaurants and shopping close by, though it is quiet and peaceful. There is no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms so you can really only take a bath. Other bathroom has a full shower unit. The walk from the vaporetto is not too far but there are quite a few steps if you have cases to carry and when we were there it was pretty crowded and very hot. But this is Venice so often the case. These points did not detract from a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful city, lots of tourists but can't fault the accommodation. Highly recommend this apartment. The host was very commutative and helpful. I'd stay here again if I went back to Venice. There was nothing I didn't like.

• Katia (10/5): Best place to stay - I really liked how close the Rialto bridge was and also St. Mark’s Square. All within minutes of walking. The host was quick and efficient to answer our questions and so very kind. It was very sweet of her to leave a basket full of biscuits (that tasted so good). The entire apartment is so beautiful and my family and I loved it very much and wished we stayed longer than one night! We will definitely be booking this place again when we come back to Venice. It is hands down the best place we stayed at. Nothing!! Everything was amazing.

• Giao (5/5): clean but cold and uncomfortable apartment - the flat was so cold, the landlord responded to our enquiry about heating very promptly but she said according to the government rules, the temperature cannot be more than 19C. The thermostat in the flat seems to stay permanently at 21C for the whole period of our stay day or night. it was so cold we sat in the living room with our winter coat on, and the blankets in the bedrooms are so thin, we were cold sleeping in bed too. freezing cold apartment

• Adam (10/5): Comfortable, spacious, well equipped apartment in the perfect location to explore Venice - Marisa was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Well equipped kitchen and dining area, we stayed in one night to make pasta after picking up fresh ingredients nearby. The location is perfect for exploring Venice and is walking distance to all major attractions and the water taxis. Also the BEST Gelato spot just around the corner, called SUSO Mosquitoes were a bit of a pain when trying to sleep, but Marisa was kind enough to leave some insect repellant spray in the apartment which works really well
• Balaji (9/5): Good apartment to stay but few suggetion for improvement - Checkin process was online and easy to complete. Apartment was big enough for family of 4, there were 2 bathrooms and its bigger. kitchen was well equiped and well maintained. Welcome pack was impressive. Few Toys were there and kids enjoyed playing with them. Location was good and easy access to main attraction. Nothing is bad, but few possible improvements like, provision to keep the luggage after check-out, and smart TV can be fixed.
