  This air-conditioned 2-bedroom apartment has a living room, a balcony with mountain view and a fully equipped kitchen. • Irmgard (9/5): Perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Stellenbosch und Umgebung - Wir waren zum 2. Mal in dieser Unterkunft und wurden von Salome wieder herzlich begrüßt. Die Wohnung ist perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Stellenbosch und Umgebung. Alles kann zu Fuß oder mit Uber gut erreicht werden. Es gibt viele sehr gute Restaurants, man sollte unbedingt einige Wochen vorher reservieren. Zu empfehlen ist auch ein Besuch im Botanischen Garten der Universität. Es gab ein kleines Problem mit zwei Steckdosen, welches wir aber gelöst haben.
• John (10/5): Great stay in Stellie - Our second visit. The apartment is well equipped, clean, close to the town centre. The air conditioning is good, the parking very convenient and Salome very helpful and welcoming. Great place to enjoy Stellenbosch. nothing
• PETER (10/5): Nice apartment , we've booked again ! - The apartment is spacious clean and well equipped with a very good secure parking system. The bedroom especially has a huge bed and ample storage. The second bedroom would be very 'cosy' for two more adults. In the afternoon the balcony cools down and it's a great place to sit and watch the sun set on the surrounding mountains. Best of all from our standpoint was the proximity to the lively centre of Stellenbosch with so many cafes and great restaurants. There is also a supermarket just across the road. We like the noise and bustle of being in the town centre by a busy crossroads but this may not suit everone. We are going back next year. The apartment is up four flights of stairs - we soon got used to it but some people might struggle. Some of the soft furnishings were getting rather tired, a little beyond shabby chic !

Salome goes out of her way to welcome guests. Was only too willing to return a hired wedding suit for us. Real old style courtesy. Beds are luxurious. Kitchen is well-equipped. The place is private and quiet. Lovely balcony view.

• Tracey (10/5): Enjoyed the stay in a beautiful apartment and a beautiful area. - Communication with Karen and Salome was great. Nothing an issue. Facilities were good and bathrooms had amenities, which was a lovely touch. Secure parking with lockable garage. Great location. It’s not really a dislike about the property, more that it was annoyance that the second room was tiny. If you have ever been to Japan, that’s the room size.
• Andreas (4/5): - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ausgesprochen gut – zentral und ideal, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Auch die Vermieterin war freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Leider wurde unser Aufenthalt dennoch deutlich beeinträchtigt. In der Wohnung traten während unserer Zeit Mäusespuren auf. Die Vermieterin reagierte zwar zügig und beauftragte für den nächsten Tag einen Kammerjäger. Eine Entschädigung oder sonstige Wiedergutmachung wurde jedoch nicht angeboten. Zudem wurde uns bei der Abreise mitgeteilt, es handle sich angeblich nicht um Mäusekot, sondern um Hinterlassenschaften eines Insekts. Nach unserem Verständnis – und erneut nach dem Auftreten frischer Spuren trotz Kammerjäger – spricht jedoch weiterhin alles für Mäuse. Hinzu kommt, dass die Unterkunft insgesamt hygienisch nicht ausreichend gepflegt war. Wir empfehlen dringend eine gründliche Grundreinigung: • Kühlschrank: sichtbar nicht frisch gereinigt • Bettdecken & Kopfkissen: aus unserer Sicht auszutauschen bzw. professionell zu reinigen • Boden- und Deckenecken, Glastüren, und Oberflächen: insgesamt mit deutlichem Reinigungsbedarf Mit etwas mehr Sorgfalt und regelmäßiger, gründlicher Reinigung könnte die Unterkunft wirklich sehr angenehm sein – das Potenzial ist definitiv vorhanden. In der jetzigen Form können wir sie jedoch leider nicht bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Very well appointed unit. Could have a provided information on local activities and a map of the area. Instruction of waster disposal and an extra garbage bag for the bin.
• Mark (9/5): Location, location, location - The location was perfect, everywhere was a short walk. The apartment was very spacious and had everything you wanted. Lovely balcony with a view of the mountains and Stellenbosch life. Free brandy was also a lovely touch. Very secure and safe with multiple locking gates and a secure garage. Would highly recommend Unfortunately which isn't the owners fault, work was being carried out to renew the roof. It wasn't too bad and the guys were friendly

We walked around at night time with no issues. There is a Checkers right next door for groceries etc and had very secure parking. Very clean and large rooms. Each room has an ensuite which is a win when travelling in a group. Perfect for short or long stay. Great communication from the hosts. Only downfall would be the noise from the street at certain times, nothing major but can be loud if using the balcony.

Easy to walk to shops restaurants etc. Clean, well appointed, friendly welcome. Good safe parking. Highly recommended.

It had plenty of space and was well equipped with everything you needed. The host checked in with us during our stay which was a nice touch too. Garage facility for the car was an unexpected bonus. We felt safe and secure. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the street and students who passed by on a nighttime and early morning. Fortunately we had come equipped with earplugs which came in very handy. If we were to stay again we’d probably use the back bedroom .

Walking up to the apartment past an open back of fast food shop wasn’t great. Wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with walking disabilities as there are 4 flights of stairs to negotiate.

A lively town, safe to walk around and many great wineries a short drive away. Very helpful owner. The apartment is on the second floor and there is no lift. This could be difficult for some people.

The property is very nice, and roomy and hosts were incredible. The sherry was a very welcome add-on. Very comfortable for 4 people with en-suite bedrooms. It was rather noisy, but expected given the location and being a student town :)
