• Patrick (5/5): Poor accommodation and no wifi - resto and kitchen staff, the foods we ordered were very good! And our choice of room had a river view. No wifi in the room and the room needs thorough cleanimg and some repairs needs to be done. Aircon was leaking. Toilet seat was peeling and broken. Clearly no maintenance checked and done maybe for the past months! There wasn't any hand soap on the sink area!

Schmutziger Raum, Schrank und Moskitonetz nicht zu benutzen. Unkompetentes Personal an der Rezeption. Leitungswasser nicht trinbar.

• Johannes (8/5): The perfect rest location for Divundu - This venue is a landmark location of Divundu. It is a part of the community and a must visit. Staff are always friendly. The location is. close to town and any other areas you want to visit. It is peaceful and quiet. There is wifi and the rooms are clean and perfect for your short to medium stays.
• Marvellous (5/5): It was fun because it was my first time in Divundu and I met old friends at the lodge and stressful at the same time. - It has a beautiful scenery of nature. The locals had access to the bar till like hours. At some point a fight broke out between a resident and a local in the bar. The place don’t provide ironing services nor can they give you an iron box. The phone at the reception is not answered on time. The one bar tender is doing both waitress at the restaurant and bar tending, which makes services very slow.

• Sadegh (9/5): The owner is a very nice man - I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this guest house. He invited me for a beer and we met another two Finnish guys who served as soldiers in the area around 1980. They all shared a lot of interesting memories about their time which I really enjoyed.

The staff told us we could rent the river cottages for the same price as the normal rooms booked, however we ended up paying the difference in the price. For the price, there are better options along the way.

• Immanuel Tjipura (6/5): - I liked the friendly staff who were trying their utmost best to serve us under difficult circumstances as it was raining and there was constant power outages,and rge staff have to walk in the rain from the kitchen to the restaurant where we were seated. The state of the bathrooms in the rooms,need to be renovated and improved.

• Michael (7/5): - Die Doppelzimmer in den Bungalows waren sauber aber schon etwas abgewohnt, gute Lage in einem schönen Garten, die Zimmer in den Häusern direkt am Fluß sind super. Gutes Abendessen und Frühstück, sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die Einzelzimmer mit Gemeinschafts Dusche und WC sind nicht zu empfehlen

• Rob Veerman (1/5): Valt erg tegen - Ruim balkon aan de rivier en er kwam een familie nijlpaarden langs. Het personeel is wel willend maar onervaren. Was totaal niet rolstoel toegankelijk, dit staat wel aangegeven op de site. Het eten was zeer beperkt, veel was er niet en karige salades. Het duurt een uur voordat je eindelijk eten krijgt. Kamers werden niet schoon gehouden.

We ordered food at the bar/restaurant and it took a LONG time to receive our order. Staff were great though, it was obviously out of their hands.

• GILLES (10/5): Très belle étape à bon prix sur la route des Vic Falls. - Nous avons apprécié la chambre très lumineuse avec ses grandes baies vitrées donnant directement sur l’Okavango. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des hippos très rôti le matin, broutant l’herbe a quelques mètres de notre chambre sur pilotis. Un instant exceptionnel ! Le prix très économique par rapport aux lodges environnants et sa situation à mi-chemin entre Etosha et la rivière Chobe et l’extraordianire beauté de la bande de Caprivi en font une halte idéale qui permet de continuer la route vers le Botswana et les Vic Falls. • Hans-Dieter (1/5): FRECHHEIT! - Wir haben aufgrund der Örtlichkeiten und der Betrachtung des Bungalow sofort eine andere Unterkunft gebucht. Der Besitzer wollte uns nichts erlassen oder stornieren. Ich möchte keinerlei Zeit verschwenden diese Unterkunft zu bewerten. Gott sei Dank haben wir kurzfristig etwas anderes gfunden. Unsere Persönliche Meinung.... Es ist schlichtweg alles eine absolute Katastrophe!!!

• kpanphotography (6/5): Cheap so as the experience. - Location and price. It's close to the national park which is good. The price was excellent but you got what you pay for. The staff wasn't very helpful, the room shouldn't be call a room but a cell. It's actually more like a dormitory than room. The shared bathroom and shower were at minimum useable condition. Well, the price is excellent but like I said you got what you pay for.

The bed linen was noticeably unclean and marked with large stains. For breakfast, despite informing the staff of our slight delay, our meal – comprising eggs and burnt bacon – was left to cool on the counter. Furthermore, we had to request cutlery for our table, and it was unceremoniously handed directly to us.

• Julia (7/5): Für den Preis ok - Für den Preis sehr in Ordnung. Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank im Zimmer Das Putzmittel riecht für meinen Geschmack sehr unangenehm. Beim zweiten Tag gab es auch trotz Nachfrage keine Marmelade mehr beim Frühstück. Mir wurde Geld, das ich in einer meiner Taschen versteckt hatte, gestohlen.

• Matongela (8/5): Divundu Guest House Review - I liked the friendly reception and accommodation options (stayed in the room facing the river). The food was good and well prepared as requested. We slept well in that air-conditioned facility. Wifi was not stable, connection dropped more frequently, and was not able to book the right accommodation option for a fair price as a result. There is nothing to complain about, though, and thank you for accommodating and providing us with food to eat. See you next time.

• Branislav (8/5): Nice and safe overnight option - We booked riverfront rooms - definitely the best and the most beautiful option. Large rooms with terraces overlooking the river Kavango, hot water, good wifi. There are also more economic and small rooms - if you just overnight passing the Caprivi Stripe. Location is great for anyone who wants to avoid 650 km long drive jump between Rundu and Botswana. At nearby Divundu village you can find Shoprite, Gas Station and other things. Dinner at restaurant was reasonable, breakfast standard.

Die ligte in die eetsaal was baie vuil Ontbyt is baie basies Wifi het nie gewerk nie Ons.sal beslis nie weer daar bly nie.

• Ulrike (8/5): Eine angenehme Unterkunft mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. - Ruhige Lage. Das Guesthaus liegt in einem sehr schön angelegten Garten. Die einfachen Häuser sind im traditionellen Charakter gebaut. Das Restaurant hat eine reichhaltige Speisekarte und sehr gutes Essen, inklusive gutem Frühstücksbüfett. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Eine gute Lage für den Besuch des Mahango Game Parks.

• Anne (9/5): Stayed longer than I planned - Breakfast and food was very good, surroundings peaceful with plenty of birds, staff was frendly and very helpful - still feel bad I didn’t have enough money to tip them properly. Next time! The backpackers room was otherwise good (mosquito net was in good shape, even if there was not so many mosquitoes) but very hot when I went to sleep the first night. Using fan the other evening to change the air a bit helped, so it would’ve been nice if someone would’ve let me know about that before.
