Per raggiungere l'hotel c'è una scalinata, ma il proprietario ci ha aiutato nel trasposto delle valigie. Parlano perfettamente inglese e di conseguenza è stato facile comunicare e farci dare indicazioni su cosa fare. Colazione solo cinese di conseguenza non adatta alle nostre abitudini. Pulizia un po' scadente.

Il gestore è stato disponibilissimo ancor prima che arrivassimo in struttura. Camera di dimensioni normali, ma comunque confortevole. Posizione all'interno della città vecchia ma vicina alla strada e facilmente raggiungibile. La posizione, seppur nella città vecchia, può risultare scomoda per alcuni. Per raggiungere il centro della città vecchia bisogna camminare in salita e poi in discesa. Alternativa è passare fuori la città vecchia, pianeggiante ma meno caratteristica.

- Samantha (10/5): - This place was so cute! A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The external doors are locked late but worth asking when as we had a wedding and had to wake the manager to let us in - we felt very sheepish after that!

Rooms are comfy, clean and warm at night despite it being an older inn. Owner was very very helpful and offered to carry our luggage up and guide us in on our first day.

We were using Apple maps and luckily there were 1 couple helped us to find the place and the wife help us to call the receiption and he came to fetch us from there.

- Mohd (9/5): Cosy Lijiang Yue Tu Inn - Located within walking distance to Lijiang Old Town. Have to climb steep steps to the hotel. Luckily the hotel is about 50 metres from the bottom of the steps and next to the main road. Mr Yang Lei is a great host. A helpful person who speak good English. He came looking for us and carried our luggage up to the hotel. He helped us to plan and organise our day trip to JDSM and TLG. He arranged for breakfast-to-go during our trip to TLG. He even lent us his spare handphone with the wechat app for us to communicate with our driver when we visited JDSM. Would definitely stay in Lijiang Yue Tu Inn again. Thank you Mr Yang Lei. Fixing a bidet in the toilet will be great.

There is two or three restaurants near by the hotel. If you want to go to the Jade dragon snow mountain, this is the best location where the tour can pick up. The staff is the best. He can communicate in english very well. The staff is really help in everything. I come to the hotel in the late night and ask for the car to pick up. - Anh (10/5): Lovely Inn - The location is very close to the Lijiang Old Town. The owner is supper support and helpful. He speaks English so well. The Inn is so cozy and beautiful. I love my stay here.

As it is located in an old town, and understandably due to no proper sewage system, toilet paper is unable to be flushed, which is slightly inconvenient. Some improvements can be made, for example providing an additional/external water spraying system.

Room was spacious, clean and had a bath tub. Bed and pillows were soft, and comfortable. There are free Fresh Floral Pastries (鲜花饼) in the lobby for you to enjoy. Hotel is very near an excellent pork rib restaurant (阿婆腊排骨火锅). You must go and try! Absence of tea/coffee in the room. Humidifier doesn't work (leaks water). WiFi doesn't work in communal areas. Breakfast is very simple. Hotel is situated up on a hill. Be prepared to climb about 40m where the taxi drops you off. But the hotel staff was helpful to carry your luggage, if you contact him when you arrive.

- Panom (9/5): Superb - Although the property is not accessible by car, it is only a few minutes walk from the road to the alley. The entrance to Lijiang Old Town is within walking distance with many restaurants along the way. Otherwise it is possible to walk up the hill to Shizishan view point and down to Square Market. Yue Tu Inn is run by a family that is very friendly and helpful. On a clear day, the Jade Dragon Snow mountain could be seen from the bedroom.

- Byzantino (10/5): Great stay at the heart of Lijiang - We especially appreciated the warm hospitality offered by hotel owner and his family and staff. He is the only tourism professional we met so far who speaks English fluently and willingly helped us for every practical need. Our room was very nice and bright, tastefully decorated. We actually got a free upgrade upon arrival. Rooms are situated around a nice and quite courtyard with a lot of beautiful flowers. A washing-machine was at our disposal free of charge. A delicious traditional breakfast was served daily. Hotel location is just great, at the edge of the old town. We were able to go everywhere by foot. Nothing

- Stephanie (7/5): Good - The location was at the base of the ancient town area of Lijiang as well as close to the main road of the city. It has the style of a rustic inn. There was a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains standing on the doorway to the rooms. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. If you are travelling with elderly people, it’s not ideal to live in the inns within the ancient city. Yue Tu Inn was near enough to main road but you still needed to walk up a steep and sometimes slippery flight of cobbled steps. If you’re young and fit though, you would find the location quite quaint!

The owner was extremely friendly and gave goo - We loved the location of the property on the edge of the old town. The view from our balcony was incredible looking towards the snow mountain. The location was perfect, not far from the center of old town and just near the road where you can take taxi or bus to railway station or bus station. The hosts were very friendly, always offered us tea, fruits and local flower cakes for free. They even made a laundry and gave a transfer to airport for free. They helped us to navigate in the city and also to book some trips.

The place is easy to find and access, not far from all interesting places in old town while remain really quiet. The rooms are all differently designed with a great taste. Clean and comfortable, bed was big and I had a great sleep. I will definitely go again next time I come in this city ! Everything was perfect
- Christina (8/5): Quaint and rustic stay. - We were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade for our room and it came with a balcony. Property is near to old town Lijiang. There are lots of eateries around. Owner is very helpful. He helped us to arrange transportation to the jade dragon snow mountain as well as the tiger leaping gorge tourist area. It is walkable to the old town. There is also a washing machine we could use, however there is no dryer. The water from the shower area flows outside. Toilet is a little cramp. The steps from the road to the property is very steep and care must be taken to climb it. There is also an elevated cobbled road from the steps to the property. The property is at the bottom of a steep hill to the old town.

- Paul (8/5): Ideal, family accommod. walking distance closeo old Lijiang - Our host went out of his way to arrange golf & a driver to the nearby Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Course, the world's longest golf course. This which would have been very difficult without his help. He also stayed up to let us back in the guesthouse after we lost track of time during a long night walk in old Lijiang town.
- Yannick (8/5): Very good - The owner was very friendly, for example organized a taxi from the station for us and helped us with getting bus tickets etc. The location is perfect, right at the beginning of the historic old town and the room is comfy. Altough we liked the hotel/room, the photos could suggest a higher standard than it has. It's still a rather simple, family-run hotel with a few minor inconveniences such as some smell in the bathroom etc. Given that the price is a bit high.

The location is within walking distance to the Ancient town so thats a plus One of the rooms was having some plumbing issue so the smell is not nice

Host is a very nice person , he will provide all the imformation before arrive and contact with me to make sure i'm safe to get there. he also honestly recommend me a tour to Shangri-la which is help me a lot. The room decorate in Chinese tranditional style and the bed is very comfy, All the staff are very very very nice people i met in this trip.

Also having more cheaper shops and restaurants nearby, and it’s just in front of the Peter Gullard former house, so can start sightseeing from there.
