• Giulia Boggy (10/5): Great stay at Clover Bali! - We had a lovely time here. The room was great value for money, and the property's pool is very relaxing. The place is quiet and you don't hear any street noise at all—the only exception was some construction work nearby, but luckily only during the day. ​They offer free water to refill your bottle, which was a great plus! The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view, especially at sunrise. The staff were incredibly kind and efficient, particularly during breakfast, which was really good (we wanted to eat even more, so we brought our own fruit to complement it). They were also super helpful and quickly gave us fresh towels after two days when we asked. ​Location-wise, you can't really walk to other places, so you have to drive or call a car, but they conveniently rent scooters right on-site. Bonus points for the cute squirrel living on the property! Highly recommended!

There are some places near to eat like a 5 min scooter and the location is pretty good, in the middle to go to uluwatu, some beaches and go to the airport.

• Carina23 (7/5): A quiet and spacious place with a nice pool and good value for the price - Overall, it’s good for the price. The room I had was big and spacious. The pool is very nice and has a great view. The area is very quiet and peaceful. For the price, it’s a good option. I don’t know about the breakfast, as I didn’t go because I wanted to sleep in. The place is not easy to reach if you don’t drive. as I walked or took Grab. It wouldn’t be a problem if you have a scooter. They are building a new building just in front of it, so it can be a bit noisy sometimes, although nothing major. The thing I liked the least was that the ceiling had mould and water marks in two areas, which made it look a bit unpleasant aesthetically. The bathroom cleaning was just okay.

• Tijana (10/5): Best stay in Bali - My stay at Clover was truly one of the highlights of my time in Bali. From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel incredibly welcome — their kindness, care, and genuine hospitality created an atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and feel at home. I ended up staying for almost a month, which says everything. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, breakfast is appreciated, the WIFI excellent, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. The house and garden are clearly cared for with great attention, creating a calm and peaceful environment. Having access to a kitchen was a huge plus for me during a longer stay, and on hot Bali days the pool was the perfect place to cool down and relax. While the location is slightly tucked away, I actually found it very convenient. Every part of the Bukit Peninsula was easy to reach with Grab, and scooters can also be rented directly at the homestay. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, peaceful, and thoughtfully run, Clover is truly special. I would happily stay here again. n/a

• Cauduro (8/5): Nice stay - It’s a calm place, far from the general noise of Bali (lots of scooters and cars). There is access to a fairly large swimming pool with warm water. The room is spacious, with hot water and good water pressure, and the A/C works perfectly. A cheap laundry service is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, and scooter rentals are available nearby as well. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Unfortunately, upon arrival we were welcomed by a lady (I believe the owner) who was a bit rude and not very helpful. Apart from greeting us at check-in, she didn’t really interact with us or assist us further, which is why it’s not something to pay too much attention to, especially since everyone else was extremely kind and always available.

Every week the personnel cleans the room and changes the linen, which is nice. Also, it was an included breakfast option, the food was fresh and delicious every time I managed to force myself to wake up between 8 and 10 am.

• Michelle (10/5): Komfortables Ubrerkunft mit super freundlichem Personal. - Die Ownerin war soo freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Hotel war super ausgestattet und wir konnten hier billig und problemlos einen Scooter mieten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wurde frisch vor unseren Augen zubereitet. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Bisschen irritiert hat uns das Croissant auf den Bildern bei Booking. Wir dachte das sei das Frühstück und haben aus diesem Grund die Unterkunft gebucht. Davon war leider keine Spur. Aber das war nicht so schlimm, hat uns nur etwas irritiert.

The only issue is the location. If you have a bike, it's not a problem. It does have a large supermarket a walkable distance which is good if you want to cook your own food.

Bike rental on property, really cheap compared to other prices in Uluwatu. The bathroom is an open one, which meant that everytime you need to shower or go to the toilet, you'd be in a sauna.

Brekfast is nice, swimming pool, quite area, the room as super clean, shower is good and also Wi-Fi works super good!! That’s its hard to find If you are just staying for few days I don’t know if it’s the best location, we were always always going to the west part.

• Karen (7/5): Good - Drinking water was provided, and the use of a kettle and fridge. Air con, bed, pool were good. The owners were pleasant. A bad smell was coming from the bathroom, which needed a good scrub. It seemed to disappear after it rained heavily. The breakfast was disappointing and only supplied once in three days due to nyepi. The location was quite a walk to the shop. The TV in my room did not work.
• Chris (9/5): Perfect to explore the south peninsula from Bali - Very nice place. Peaceful and clean. You will need a scooter though because it is a bit isolated (also only 4 minutes by scooter to the next village) but you would need anyway a vehicle to drive around the peninsula. Scooter can be rented from the hotel at a very reasonable price. Swimming pool on the first floor is quite nice and there is a roof top terrace where you can enjoy a meal or a drink (BYO). Big clothes rakes available. The place is nicely decorated and surrounded by trees.

I enjoyed the good breakfast provided every morning, the facilities are adequate and comfortable, nothing bad to say except the location isn’t great! You’ll need a bike to travel around or get grabs, but that’s minor detail.

The pool and rooftop are lovely, and the restaurant was very very good for the free breakfast and if you wanted to purchase something as well. I loved looking out from the staircase and seeing all the cows in the field who would run over to talk to you. Complimentary drinking water and the fridge area was also a nice touch!

• Vigdal (9/5): Comfortable stay - Quiet area, everything very neatly done, nice touch with the swimming pool overlooking the area, good breakfast (though the one included is quite simple) with freshly baked sour bread every day, fresh fruit and coffee. Very friendly staff. It’s also very convenient that they’re renting out scooters (for a reasonable price), and that you can order lunch/dinner at the small restaurant if you should feel like it. I would’ve preferred a small fridge in the room (there was only one shared one). The water in the shower could’ve been warmer.
• Tose (10/5): A very good stay at Clover! - I booked the hotel for one night, it’s not too far from the airport. Ngurah picked me up there and even went to get a sim card for me (180 000 for 24GB - Telkomsel)! We went to pick my surfboard not far from there and luckily it fit in his car (6’8”). That was all truly kind and helpful. I could check-in 30 min before the actual time, which I appreciated. While waiting for the room to be cleaned, I had a lunch at the restaurant: simple sunny side up eggs with their homemade bread, so delicious! The room on the 1st floor was fine, with a very comfy double bed. It was so nice to have a dip in the pool when I arrived from a long travel. All staff was very welcoming. I was also taken to the ferry the next morning by the owner’s son :) Nothing. You just have to know that there is not much around the hotel so you need your scooter or get a grab for your groceries or so.

• Martin (9/5): Hideaway in the nature - The breakfast was very good. There were a few restaurants in about 15 minutes by walk. Scooter is needed, but you can rent there. We got free drinking water refill (not tap water). The pool was also great and clean. The staff is helpful and very kind. The AC was working fine. There was an open air window in the bathroom so we kept checking the bugs (luckily we found nothing). They could put some more chairs by the pool. Also some hangers would be nice in the rooms for thw wet clothes. We missed a small table next to the bed, only one side.

They had scooters to rent at local prices. There's only 1 option for the included breakfast, but it's very good and there are other options if you don't mind to pay. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained and from the roof terrace you have a view of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue.

It was all good. A little close to the road so had occasional loud motorbikes and large trucks but still very comfortable.

• Алексей (10/5): this is the best hotel out of 5 for this vacation. fabulous. - everything is wonderful. The location is very convenient, you are 5-15 from the most picturesque beaches of the island. very cozy. you can feel the approach of the owners to the place. you are in the center but there are no hotels around you. no unnecessary fuss. there is an excellent terrace on the 3rd floor where you can go up and sunbathe alone. The breakfasts deserve special mention, I stayed in more than 5 places during this holiday and these were the best breakfasts. stayed initially for one night. Then I extended it for another 4. The place is amazing with its comfort. There's nothing to dislike.
• Szymon (3/5): Not friendly host, the room and bathroom need to be better cleaned - They have swimming pool and nice breakfast Free shuttle bus from the airport on their description but later on they text that they charge 250 000 for the ride when Grab cost 160 000 so not really friendly move. The room smells from the bathroom really bad and there were a lot of flying insects and cockroaches so whenever you want to go to the toilet you need to wait until they gone. On the wall close to the bed there was a big mold They trying to charge you extra for everything but most ridicules was to pay extra for the milk if you order a coffee for the breakfast. We rent a motorbike from the hotel and the owner lady on the last day were so upset and screaming on us that we have her moto keys but we return the keys night before. Not recommend this place, for sure there are many better place on booking

Bed was a little hard for our comfort. No sunbeds or chairs to relax on by the pool, not comfy to sunbathe and read a book!

Location is great, though you should rent a motorbike (rentable in the hotel ~90k/day). Very quiet place and not far from the south tourist attractions of Bali! Hosts are very friendly and helpful, we needed to print out a visa and they helped us without hesitation! Breakfast is nice. Enough free water supplied! Pool has no sunbeds, but we've seen that in alot Bali hotels...

Also loved the rooftop where you can workout, relax or even work (there is a table). A little bit too much chlorine in the pool.

The breakfast is nice ( eggs, toasts, coffee and fresh fruit), is not a lot but enough to get some energy before go to the beach. Also you can add Croassants, of more eggs or a fruit bowl. Really cheap. The property is quiet during the night so great to have a good sleeping. Plus, there is a Market close.
