Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): - Awesome quaint property. It is a motel, but has everything you need and everything works. Clean and functional with awesome little perks.
- Bobbi (10/5): - Such a cute place! Awesome room! Laundry and even a massage chair available. Texted room code so seamless checkin.
- Shawn (10/5): - Awesome place. Small town! Quiet
- Randall (10/5): - Beds were comfortable, room was clean, I would add More traction tape on the floor of the handicapped shower it was pretty slick and I'm handicapped. Other wise it was the cleanest room we have gotten for quite some time and price was decent.
- Lynn (10/5): - Convenient for travel
- mary (10/5): Small town comfort - Great little hotel in a small town. Friendly and attentive staff.
- Joseph (10/5): - Multiple good places to eat and conveniently placed gas and convenient stores. Plus quite and safe feeling.
- Joseph (10/5): - We were planned to arrive late and leave early so lucky for us, the property sent us(via text) room number and door code. It felt like a self service stay. The town is small so choices of food is limited. There was a continental breakfast, again, self service.
- James (8/5): - Nice little quaint room. Easy check in and check out.
- Sandy (10/5): - Lovely clean place. Sheets were wonderfully soft. It did have kind of thin walls and the breakfast needs some protein. But that said, it was an Oasis in a desolate land.
- Eric (10/5): Quest - It was an overnight stay on our quest to visit all 50 states. Broadus, MT was stop 49.
- Donna (8/5): - Liked the no contact check-in. No issues.
- Rose Mary (8/5): - So happy for this option in Broadus.
- Clara (10/5): - Family time. And for the room we got it was very good. Appreciate the comfort cleanliness.
- Brent (10/5): - Quiet little town. Homey feel will stay again
- Dustin (10/5): - Easy to check in. Clean etc. Wouldnt really complain at all. Thanks for an easy stay
- Brittany (10/5): - We love staying at the Sagebrush when in or passing through Broadus. A surprisingly nice and quaint Inn in a small, unassuming MT town
- Carol (10/5): - After I booked online, I was sent a text with the name of our host welcoming us, plus the room and code#. We loved the communication level, it made our arrival super simple. Walked around Broadus to little shops, ate a fabulous steak dinner. We'll book again!!
- Steve (10/5): - A great place to stay.
- James (10/5): - Room was very clean and smelled great.
- Blaine (10/5): - We stayed here for a 3 day hunting trip. It was clean and easy to navigate. Waking distance to a couple of restaurants and bars. Had a good time.
- Franklin (10/5): - Nice, friendly.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Lovely establishment. Comfortable beds, great nights sleep!
- Mary (10/5): - Amazingly quiet and comfortable sleep. Easy access to room and car.
- Tara (10/5): - On a ling travel day, it was a quick and easy stop to be off the road. The accommodations are nothing special and i was only there while it was dark outside. So i never met or saw any staff. The breakfast options were very basic, but it was certainly better than nothing when leaving that early. The fact that it was available at 5am when i was loading up to leave was great.
- Chrissy (10/5): - Josie was super helpful and accommodating! Very clean, efficient and private! We had a small breakfast!
- Marsha (6/5): - It was ok; coffee maker didn’t work; poor room lighting; bed very nice; no management on property; over priced
- kelly (10/5): - Perfect location for us to stop and lay our heads!’
- Charlene (10/5): - The room was cleaned and fresh towels every day they do a great job
- Corinne (8/5): - It would be great to possibly have another lamp and bed table in the rooms for convenience’s sake. Other than that, great! Very clean, updated & quiet. Great place to stop in between western South Dakota and Billings.
- JAMES (10/5): - Didn't have to "Check In"! The room number and door code were sent prior to arrival, which was very laid back and informal. Town is very friendly with walking tours of the historical areas. Breakfast was excellent and rooms were very nice and well cared for.
- Melisande (10/5): Stay here - Grateful for the folks who run this place. Clean and spacious. They welcome furbabies. The check-in process is easy. The location is safe and cozy. There’s a grocery store less than 5 min away if you want to grab anything. 10/10 recommend.
- Michelle (8/5): - Room was too dark. Seemed clean. Bed comfortable
- Cody (10/5): - Super clean and updated, staff is very helpful
- Nancy E. (10/5): - Excellent place to stay. Very clean. Easy to check in even for an older person. Staying here again in a couple of day. I highly recommend the place.
- Nancy E. (10/5): - I would definitely stay there again. You never see a employee but they have everything set, so it is very easy to do, especially for an older person.
- robin (10/5): - The coded door entry and the nice text from Brandi with check in details.
- John (10/5): Great Stay - Enjoyed this motel very much. Check-in very convenient, was texted room # and code early in the day, went straight to room after late evening arrival, bypassing front desk. The room was clean and updated, in great condition (no shabbiness here!). Good location too, room/neighborhood was quiet, away from noisy major roads/highway. I would recommend this motel without hesitation.
- ann m (8/5): - The room was very nice, clean& comfortable. The sink in bathroom didn’t drain real well. But it was clean and bed comfortable. In the morning at breakfast just cereal milk but no bowls. Coffee, bagel. No fruit, juice, or bread.
- Ali (10/5): - We arrived very late but we got our room no problem. Then the next day we were able to have breakfast at 11 am. Everything was prefect. I would highly recommend this plqce.
- Rita (10/5): - Nice welcoming small town comfort. I liked the keyless entry with coded locks. I loved having a recliner, too. Best night of sleep of my whole trip.
- Bobbi (10/5): - Great once I found my room, only complaint price went up $21 for return home trip in 2 weeks,
- Teresa (10/5): - Wonderful room and check-in
- Makenna (10/5): - Great place to stay, amazing accommodations and very clean and nice!
- Blaine (10/5): - The room was large and very nice and the property was clean and attractive. The area was quiet but with shopping choices. Near to highways but several blocks removed. The only negatives were the lack of staff available to answer questions and the skimpy breakfast choices.
- Tony (8/5): Diamond in the rough. - The check in process was all by text which I liked. The town is a little weathered but the hotel was surprisingly nice. The room was small and there’s not a lot of room to do anything but sleep and watch television. Condition of the room was close to excellent.
- Elvira (6/5): - Bath tub was slippery. Hard to get the shower to work right. But the bed was comfy
- Michael (10/5): Very Pleased - A very, very, pleasant overnight stay. Regarding hotels and motels, I look for cleanliness, a warm shower, a comfy bed, and dependable wifi. This quaint place delivered on all accounts. The complimentary breakfast was an added perk. All at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Sagebrush Inn.
- Laurie (8/5): - Was pleasantly surprised to find this place on our route. Places to stay are scarce and we've stayed in some that were not the cleanest. Not much to do in Broadus but nice little place for an overnight stay.
- Richard (10/5): - Quiet place very quiet
- Nick (10/5): - Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had a late check-in and the staff was so accommodating!
- Henry (10/5): - The service was excellent and the rooms were very nice and well kept. I loved the area and didn’t want to leave. It’s a cut little town with a brilliant little hotel by the name of the Sagebrush Inn. 10/10 will go again.
- william (4/5): - No one to check you in - had to go off-site to use a phone elsewhere. We don't have a cell phone, so this was very inconvenient. No phone or clock in the room. Again, for us as seniors, very unsafe and inconvenient. What if there was an emergency? How would we call for help?? We cannot recommend this as a place to stay.
- Steve (10/5): - It was perfect for what we needed. A stop on our way to Glacier. Quiet, clean and convenient.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Easy check in, clean room!
- Wayne (4/5): - I think the room rate of $141.92 was way out of line for the quality of the accommodation. I have never stayed at a location where I did not obtain a greeting upon arrival or departure. There was nobody to help me with my stay.
I arrived in the rain not knowing how to check in. I did get a text message earlier that looked like spam in that it simply stated Wayne, a name I do not go by. Directions for the room code were contained therein I later learned. I turned on the TV to watch a basketball game and during a break I went out to bring in my luggage. When I came back the TV was no longer operative and I had no recourse to a helpful fix. The following night I stayed at the Midway Motel in Ekalaka paying $80. My room was decidedly better than what I had paid for at the Sagebrush Inn and Suites. When I paid $141.92 I expected a quality establishment. That was NOT the case. Breakfast offerings were meager so I simply ate my breakfast cereal I had brought along. When checking in, a long trailer blocked mine and two other rooms forcing me to tote my luggage a long distance through the rain. I will never stay at this location again and if you don't want to pay a lot of money for a very substandard stay, you won't either.
- Sherri (6/5): - Just ok. Would not stay again
- Michaele (10/5): - Bed was super comfortable, bathroom large and spacious, great water pressure with hot water.
- Anne (10/5): - What a great find! Off the beaten path but with a quirky charm
- tara (10/5): - Cute, cozy and clean place. The bed was comfy and the staff was helpful and kind. Would most definitely stay again.
- Lori (8/5): - All interaction was through text. No human contact. But i guess that is what the world is coming to.
- CHRISTOPHER (10/5): - When I first learned that this was pretty much the only option for a hotel in the town, I was a little skeptical, but what a surprise! When I pulled up the place, looked organized and well-kept. The check in process is pretty seamless. I received a text message with the code to open my room And the Wi-Fi password as well. I found myself in Broadus on business, and I actually had to extend my stay from one night to two. I just started my first day and will stay here again tonight. So far there is nothing to complain about at all. The staff keep the rooms and grounds very clean and presentable for what it is. I have yet to try in the shower, but I am sure that it will follow suit with the rest of this review. The room is appointed with some pretty modern, a pertinences to include a small refrigerator, single cup coffee maker with coffee pods, and a very nice microwave. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who finds them self in the small town of Broadus for whatever reason they may be here.
- Josh (10/5): - Very clean rooms, nearby places to eat, easy to park, and super easy to check in
- Misty (10/5): - sagebrush Inn and Suites was a small slice of heaven on a 10 last minute trip to North East Montana. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was quiet. The room had a lot of charm and I really enjoyed my short stay!
- Beth (10/5): - Very cute small town property. Very friendly staff. We received the code for the door, the receipt was on the dresser. TV with Shotime and The Movie Channel. Simple furnishings but very nice and clean.
- Julie (4/5): Not so superb! - I got text message of door code to get in. You will not see any person for check in or check out process. The place was charming, clean, but very small. The heating/cooling unit on the wall was something very annoying. It he runs approximately every 10 minutes with the low setting. t sounds absolutely loud that in the middle of the night, I turned it off. The temperature outside dipped down in the 20’s outside. And the water in the bathroom was cloudy. Cloudiness never went away even though I ran it a while. And this morning was the same. Free coffee maker was in the room but using cloudy water for coffee? No! Luckily I had some bottle water. Overall I don’t want to give a good rating like what I saw on the web site. It was totally disappointing
- Luann (10/5): - Lovely, clean hotel
Felt cared for genuinely
- Annalisa (10/5): - Beautiful cozy room! Highly recommended!
Very clean and nice, with everything you need to make your stay super comfortable.
- Carrie (10/5): - Who knew the quiet town of Broadus, MT would hold a gentle, quiet hideaway like Sagebrush? Clean, cozy and fully appointed with everything we needed. If you're looking for large, big-city bells and whistles Broadus isn't for you. However, if getting away from the maddening crowds and holiday chaos--- Sagebrush is perfect! I look forward to returning
- Amy (4/5): - Check in was easy. The room and bathroom were dirty. We checked in late and as soon as the light hit the room in the morning you could see how filthy it was. The heater in the room kept us up the entire night but we had to have it on because the room was freezing. There was hair in the bathroom and shower. Over priced for what you get. It was recommended to me but I would drive further to have a better stay.
- Darla (10/5): - My daughter was highly impressed with how nice this little place was in the small town of Broadus. I was nervous since it was the only place in town but you can feel confident booking your stay here.
- Ryan (10/5): - We've stayed here many times and always a welcome stop on our way from Portland, OR to Omaha.
- Angela (10/5): - Love this place. Tha kyou
- Amy (10/5): - Very nice lodge. Comfortable and clean. An oasis in the middle of nowhere.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Quiet, clean, perfect for our pooches to walk outside when they needed a potty. Would stay here again!
- Cynthia (10/5): - It's amazing how much genuine hospitality this places exudes, even when staff is not present. I felt very much at home.
- GARY (8/5): - It was nice. Didn't even have to check in. It was all online.
- Joseph (10/5): - Clean room with comfy bed. Owners obviously take pride in their place. Great place to stop on the way across Montana.
- Harvey (10/5): - Dogs barking in neighborhood at night
- Charles (10/5): - The check-in was easy. The doors were number coded, no key or key card. Great plan. The room was better than I had planned and the breakfast area was stocked nicely and was very clean and inviting.
- Michael (10/5): - Nice and clean room.Everything you need is present.Got a surprise when taking a shower the water is hot and soft.Enjoyed the self serve early morning breakfast.A small town atmosphere. 😊 👍

- David (8/5): GOOD VALUE - Not fancy but very nice. VERY CLEAN The ONly thing that needs attention is the toilet seat. Paint was chipping. Put on a New seat.
- Dominique (10/5): Perfect Motel! - We were moving cross-country and this was our favorite stop. Super easy contactless check in/out. Perfect for travelers arriving late. The bed was huge, plus there was a armchair. Perfect little motel, if I'm ever crossing through again I know where I plan to rest!

Super easy check-in.
- Lauren (10/5): - The contactless check in was nice for me and my husband as we arrived very late. Room was cozy and warm considering the town was experiencing single digit temperatures.
