A.i.toma (6/5): Acceptable - Beautiful location. Good starting point to visit Giethoorn, Lemmer, Urk. Parking place available on site. Very friendly staff. Nice place for kids to play around. Nice idea with the separate small houses. Overall it is acceptable if you are aware about the drawbacks and if you're ready to clean everything before you move in. Also be prepared with everything, like if you would go camping with a tent ⛺. Not clean... The table was sticky, the floor was dirty, full of dust... etc. Beds are too soft (remove the mattress and you'll have a nice bed) When taking a shower, the bathroom will be full of water. No towels. No mosquito nets on all windows (available on bedrooms, not available on the living room and bathroom). Way too expensive.

Henrike (8/5): Very good - Location is nice. The 6p houses were clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Only comment is that when someone showered downstairs, there was no water at all or no hot water in the shower upstairs. Furthermore I would recommend having thicker curtains upstairs or something outside to make it dark in the rooms and keep the warmth outside in summer.

Peggy-sue (6/5): Served it’s purpose, at a lower price it would be fine. - 1. the area is farmland which we enjoy. 2. there was fresh tulip picking, a bunch of 10 for euro 3,50. This was fun. 3. the beds were comfortable. 1. the cottage was in need of updating and refurbishing. 2. the fisherman cottages are built very close to each other. I feel that when fully occupied there will be way too little privacy. 3. I think my main issue was the price to quality issue. We paid around Euro 850 for 3 nights. I feel the real value should have been Euro 350 max. 4. whilst we were already occupying the cottage a member of staff walked into the house unannounced. It was a mistake by a seemingly junior member of staff, but it was inappropriate.
