- Ruth (9/5): Great gem in Kimba, super clean and comfortable - What a great gem in Kimba, the website photos do not do this unit justice.
Super clean, everything you need if want to cook but a great pub across the road. Breakfast supplies provided which was a lovely surprise and extra treats.
We could book into our unit early and the cleaner was so friendly making sure if we had everything we needed. We wondered around Kimba had lunch in a local cafe.
A great retro unit in Kimba would recommend and stay again. Nothing
- Helen (10/5): Was perfect for what we needed - Was great value for money and comfortable Nothing
- Allen (9/5): - The breakfast hamper was great! Maybe with the Pet unit the flooring could be vinal as we noticed a lot of pet stains. Everything else was perfect, loved our stay.
- Isabel (10/5): Fantastic. Highly recommend this place - The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Attention to detail was exceptional. We had an amazing snack and breakfast tray. Also the toiletries were great. Even got 2 small bars of locally made soap.
- Karen (7/5): - The apartments have everything you need and are very clean. The communication is good as well. Beds are reasonably comfortable. Place is a little outdated and a little overpriced for what they are. At least it's quiet there though. I felt the units were a little overpriced compared to other accommodation of this nature in bigger towns given that they're outdated

- Lorraine (10/5): Best spot in Kimba! - Location & homely , small touches like light breakfast available and use of local products I.e bathroom soaps etc bath towels were scrumptious Nil

- Belinda (10/5): -
- Williams (9/5): - Great location to the town and awesome overnight stay and pet friendly. Very easy and comfortable! Nothing to report.
- cobwebbqueen (7/5): Nice little unit for a night stay - Immaculately clean. Dated small unit great for a quiet overnight stay whilst travelling. Cooking facilities good and nice touch of bread for toast for breakfast.
We never met the staff but they arranged easy access to the property. Nothing
- Pat (8/5): Happy to stay here anytime. - It was comfortable and easy access. Good clear communication and nice and clean. Could do with a air conditioner in the bedroom
- ursula (10/5): Chris was absolutely fantastic with accommodating and very helpful -
- Reg (10/5): -
- Natalie (10/5): Perfect 😍 - A trip down memory lane
Very clean
Very comfortable That we could not get 1 room for 3 adults

- Rosemarie (10/5): Lovely nostalgically furnished, comfortable accommodation in central Kimba. - It had a lovely nostalgic feel with its “old fashioned” decor. Chris the host had organised every comfort imaginable that we may have forgotten to pack, including breakfast things, insect repellent and toiletries. The location was very central and walking distance to everything we wanted. Would love to come back and stay again. At the time of our stay the hot water in the shower wasn’t working. Luckily it was so hot that a cool shower was welcome. But Chris hoping to repair this ASAP.

- Leonie (8/5): -
- Kimberly (8/5): -
- Jeff (8/5): Excellent communication from the host. Nice, comfy, retro feel about the accommodation. -
- Chara (6/5): Clean but couldn’t sleep well because of poor bedding - Clean Beds are small and very uncomfortable. Third bed is a small folding bed. Check in at 3pm. However third bed was put after we checked in. I did inform the host that we would like the bed to be ready before we check in. But didn’t receive any response. Too many antiques for a small unit.
- Lizzy (7/5): -
- Joaquim Vicente (8/5): -
- Kathleen (7/5): - Nice kitchen. Comfortable bed. Working air conditioner. Had problems checking in due to poor telephone reception. The units are self-contained with no reception office nearby. If coming from WA, it might be beneficial to tell people to turn off and then turn on their phone. Went to a local hotel pub for help and not helped as a lady behind the bar was too busy and clearly not inclined even when subsequently ordering a meal.
- leeanne (8/5): Good comfy stopover - Breakfast provided- thank you
Great location main street
- Robyn (9/5): -
- Megan (8/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Linda (7/5): -
- Betty (8/5): At the end of the day, it worked out for everyone. - Clean safe spacious, comfortable bed The host changed location at last minute and where we stayed was further from town centre (beyond walking distance)
- Elena (8/5): Comfortable, well-equipped accommodation in a convenient location with nothing to complain about. - We had a comfortable stay at Kimba Units. The accommodation was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the layout was practical and convenient. The location was handy, making it easy to explore the area. Nothing to mention
- raymond (6/5): Dated but still comfortable. - Dated but still comfortable and quiet. Quiet.
- Leah (10/5): Clean and value for money. - Unit was very homely and the owner was very thoughtful.
- Big - G (10/5): - Loved the whole experience. Nothing
- Peter (7/5): short stay on a long drive - it was very convenient and comfortable - Comfortable and homely All good
- Rhonda (9/5): -
- Lacok (9/5): Comfortable and enjoyable. -
- Janine (8/5): -
- Bree (7/5): -
- William (8/5): -
- Valerie (10/5): - We do not have pets. The motel rooms were excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
- Michael (8/5): - Comfortable 1 bedroom unit with everything you need. Close to the local hotel. Butcher shop next door. And a small supermarket in town as well. Perfect for a night or two. Great shower too.
- Will (7/5): -
- Deepthi (10/5): - The unit is very spacious. Had all the facilities we needed. They stocked the fridge up as well for us to use for breakfast. Very thoughtful. We didn't meet the staff.
- Heather (9/5): Comfortable stay, would recommend to others - Comfortable bed, large fridge. Nothing.
- John (10/5): - Love this place. It is a very welcoming and homely place.
- CHRISTINA (8/5): Driving the Nullabor, Adelaide to Perth. - We didnt get book in txt but quick phone call was all it took. Very spacious unit, dated but has 4 separate rooms with actual arm chairs in the lounge, fully equiped kitchen, bedroom & bathroom. Nothing really, its a very old town so what we had and saw was adequate.
- Fran (8/5): -
- john (10/5): - Great unit. Clean and customer experience very positive
- Jesabe (10/5): Great facilities, felt very comfortable and at home. -
- james (10/5): - Very clean, very nostalgic with furnishings and nic nacs ,like going into nannas 🏠
- Amanda (8/5): - We ended up at Chrissie’s Dongara. Not sure how to quite describe or review it. It was not unpleasant or awful but the BBQ didn’t work so cooking was difficult. The microwave also didn’t work but there was a second one. It felt more like camping indoors. Please use this as constructive feedback not as a negative. I still give it an 8/10.
- Alleyne (8/5): - Very comfortable, although a little dated, but the hosts included a generous continental breakfast. Excellent communication by text with arrival explanations.
- james (10/5): -
- Brenton (10/5): - Wonderful relaxing time. Comfy bed and very clean and inviting.
- john (8/5): -
- Jason (8/5): Memory lane - Great location, close to pub.
Had everything we needed.
Lounge chairs and bed super comfy.
It was a freezing night and I just couldn’t seem to get the place warm enough while watching tv. Probably due to the high ceilings.
Love the era of this building and it’s great to see some in such great condition
- Sarah (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.the apartment was well presented very clean and had some really homely touches very close wa - It was like taking a step back in time! It had old world charm about it.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Keith (8/5): - Access to the unit was awkward for my wife who has a mobility problem
- Diane (5/5): Passable - Felt cosy like a grandma’s house, everything’s old but functional. There’s a laundry and dryer. There were leftover foods in the fridge which weren’t ours so not sure how clean the place really was. The bed frame was making squeaky noises with every little move.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Location, comfort The thousands of rules and the rude butcher next door.
- Joanne (6/5): - Quirky unit, with old fashioned decor. Warm, small bed
- Helen (6/5): Clean & comfortable - Our stay was short, just overnight. The room was clean, bedding comfy & with all the essentials needed. The outside of the building looks to be updgraded & well maintained, but the furniture & furnishings & bathroom are outdated.
- Carmel (9/5): Superb -
- Annette (7/5): Good -
- vicki (8/5): Nice place in nice town - Roomy unit, quiet area, good heating, plentiful hot water. Felt a little like being in someone's home. Breakfast supplies of weetbix, milk and bread provided. As others have said there are a lot of instructions around that made me feel hesitant using things but i guess the instructions are to keep the unit and it's contents in a safe condition.
Only thing i was wary of was the driveway, yes could park outside each unit but the border of the driveway had been graded and there were pipes sticking out of bits of concrete and rocks which i thought could be dangerous to cars. Care needed to pass others units, 4 units, as the driveway was a bit narrow with the piled up dirt at the edges. Units are next to the butchers. Some of the town intersections were not showing street names so we had to drive around a bit to find the units.
- Michael (8/5): - Property was acceptable. Hot water ran out resulting in cold showers. Not good!
- Garry (8/5): Very comfortable and clean. - The unit had a very 'homey' feel about it with the decorations and furniture that was used. The facilities were very good and having satellite TV was an unexpected surprise. The unit was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Allowing our dog was great! The location was central to the town and was a short walk to most areas. The fence line is currently being replaced so access is a little harder than it would normally be, this is not a permanent situation so should be remedied soon.
- alison (10/5): One night stay - Quirky comfy unit with good range of amenities. Close to eating, shops. Kimba was a great little town to stay overnight. Owner came to check on us re wifi issues. Lovely lady.
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- K (7/5): Good -
- Tahnee (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (8/5): All good. -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (9/5): Superb -
- Jacquelyn (8/5): Pop into Kimba - Location and the quirkiness of staying at your grandmas place. No physical outside space
- Belinda (7/5): Country town stay - Central location. Full kitchen, lots of condiments, bottle of milk supplied. Dated interior, but still comfy.
- Ross (7/5): Good -
- Giang (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice clean, good layout, and good location. Very comfortable bed and have all things that we need.
- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Virginia (10/5): Relaxing and calm atmosphere and very quiet. - Although old fashioned in decor, it was very homely. The host had left us fresh milk, breakfast cereal and bread for toast. It was a very calming place after hours of driving. It was a short walk to the excellent hotel for dinner. The Silos were lit up at night to see the lovely art work. Kimba also has an art group and their products are available in a showroom in the high street, well worth a look. Chris our host at the unit was lovely and there are good washing machines for laundry. Can't think of anything.
- Dennis (7/5): good place to stay - bed a bit small and chairs a bit uncomfortable
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Had everything we wanted. The style reminded me of what it was like years ago.
- Karen (7/5): Good -
