• Kishan (8/5): Very Good!Comfortable stay and value for money! Perfect for short stay. - Although my stay was short, it was quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was easy with them. As I had to leave a bit early, I had to ask for breakfast earlier (before their usual time), but they managed well and arranged it as the way expected. I have no hesitation in recommending the place to anyone who wants to stay at Kolam. The shoes need to be kept outside the apartment (just outside the main door, but in a dedicated rack, well organized), and you need to walk without any shoes/slippers (or with socks) inside the apartment until you get to your room. If Kolam can arrange a pair of slippers (or something similar), at least as an optional offer (if guests want, they can use them with some extra small charge) at this place, it will be more beneficial.

I will definately recomend this place and visit again in Chennai. - Kolam Serviced apartments in Adyar are well maintained , verly close to all the IT parks located on the OMR road. Property itself was maintained neat and clean. Staff was tidying apartments each day. Snacks and Breakfast are okay quality. Hospitality of staff is very professional. The bathrooms fixings have been water stained and water scales visible all over the plumbing. This can be improved.

• Sandeep (9/5): Great location, comfortable stay. - We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Kolam Serviced Apartments in Adyar. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, with easy access to key parts of Adyar while still being calm and peaceful. The staff were courteous and responsive. Having booked 2 rooms, we were unaware that there were 3 rooms in an apartment. Hence we were surprised that we had to share an apartment with unknown people, although they had their own room. Probably an oversight from our side too.
• Sony (8/5): Comfortable and accesssible stay with delicious breakfast. - The property is suitably located in Adyar and easy access to many restaurants and McDonalds nearby. The facilities were sufficient for a short stay and also suitable for families. Included breakfast was the main point - the food and coffee were delicious ! The toilets could be arranged to be deep cleaned once in 6 months. The water scums mark stains are everywhere in the bathroom including health faucet and shower hose and western closet.

Mathsya veg restaurant nearby offers a good lunch buffet. Tranquil and quiet, green neighborhood. Rooms are clean, spacious, newish and well maintained. Water pressure from shower excellent. Attentive service from staff. Good breakfast, Pongal, idlis, vada, and coffee. Laundry facilities available. Highly recommend!

Caretaker for the apartment is not available for most of the time.. Front desk people hardly speak any english or Hindi making the conversation a bit challenging.

The home cooked breakfast is good You are in a shared apartment so the room is not private like a hotel e.g the light switches for my bathroom were located out in the main shared living area. You will be eating and interacting with the other guests. Given its location and these factors, it’s quite expensive

The reception staff was also very helpful The advertising for this place is very misleading. Nowhere does it say that you are taking one room inside a 3 BHK apartment where others are also staying with a common drawing room. So if they decide to sit in the drawing room and speak, you get loud noise in your room. In fact, the page specifically says "entire room is yours". Obviously you will not be sharing a ROOM with someone like a hostel so there is no need to specify that, which means they've effectively lied. Cleanliness was also quite poor

• B. (8/5): Decent Place For 2K/Night - Good location. Really good customer service. Free basic breakfast. A/C worked well. Hot water in the shower. On-site laundry services. A relatively quiet place. The wifi was inconsistent and unreliable in my room on the 3rd floor. The view from my window was not a desirable one. Many shelves and surfaces in my room were not clean. In the bathroom sink and the shower, there was so much grime and build-up of gunk and rust, that I was hesitant to turn them on and use the water. The roll-up curtain and the window especially were covered in dust.
