- Sanne (6/5): Fin beliggenhed men alt for dyrt i forhold til standard. - Hotellet ligger centralt i den gamle by. Og det var rent. Noget rodet tjek-in. Vi endte med at betale hotelregningen to gange og venter nu på at få den ene betaling retur. Der er ikke så godt styr på tingene. Der er intet at købe på hotel - hverken et glas vin eller en sodavand. De har ellers en stor restaurant, men den fungere ikke.

Voorbeeld: we werden naar supermarkt gestuurd voor flesje water terwijl je zou denken dat je dit bij de service van het hotel hoort (als je €200 per nacht betaald en het water uit de kraan niet kan drinken. Ontbijt zijn ze mee gestopt en werden naar een restaurantje gestuurd terwijl op de site dit nog wel wordt aangeboden (zie ook de foto’s) op de website.

- BrightonRachelW (8/5): A wonderful hotel in a perfect location - I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Seville (my first to Seville) travelling with three lovely friends. We had originally booked a self catering apartment in the city, but unfortunately due to electrical issues, we had to move out and while looking for somewhere else to stay for our 4 night trip, we came across Halo Boutique Hotel. How very lucky we were to find this place! The staff here couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and special thanks must go to Joaquín Rodón, who went out of his way to make our stay very special, helping with information about local restuarants, recommendations and booking taxi's for us. The hotel itself is located in the old Jewish quarter of the old town and is truly beautiful, narrow cobbled streets full of lovely little squares, orange trees and gorgeous, authentic bars and restaurants surround the hotel, such a fantastic location to explore the city. We stayed in two of the junior suites between us (two of us per room) and the rooms were very clean, with high quality bed linen and very comfortable beds. It was lovely to open the door onto the narrow street and here the chatter of people outside, along with the birds tweeting! The rooftop view is amazing, both during the day and at night, when the cities lights’ sparkle all around, wonderful! I have no hesitation to recommend this wonderful hotel and friendly staff if you're considering a trip to Seville.

How very lucky we wer to find this place! The staff here couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and special thanks must go to Joaquín Rodón, who went out of his way to make our stay very special, helping with infromation about local restuarants, recommendations and booking taxi's for us. The hotel itself is located in the old Jewish quarter of the old town and is truly beautiful, narrow cobbled streets full of lovely little squares, orange trees and gorgeous, authentic bars and restaurants, such a fantastic location to explore the city. We staryed in two of the junior suites between us (two of us per room) and the rooms were very clean, with high quality bed linen and very comfortable beds. It was lovely to open the door onto the narrow street and here the chatter of people outside, along with the birds tweeting! The rooftop view is amazing, both during the day and at night, when the cities lights sparkle all around, wonderful! I have no hesitation to recommend this wonderful hotel and friendly staff if you're considering a trip to Seville.

Staff were all very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The superior room was excellent, very comfortable and well equipped and organised. The roof top area was great to relax in with a cooling dip in the small pool an added benefit. The hotel had a quality feel about it and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to be in the centre of things but also being able to retreat back to its secluded rooftop terrace.

- Getaway03619411702 (6/5): Not a four star - The location can’t be faulted and the staff were helpful in areas (they lent us European adaptors and toothbrush kit upon asking) however the room itself left a lot to be desired. There was a strong damp odour that was semi masked with air freshener and the bed felt slightly damp whenever we returned to the room. There were several patches of mould in the bedroom and bathroom (some painted over). The shower was not fit for purpose and flooded the bathroom every single time we showered; we did tell the reception team about this to be told maintenance would look into it but each time it was just mopped and left to happen again. The door to the shower was broken and looked like it had been poorly repaired multiple times before. There was a small piece of trim from the shower door that is missing which causes the water to run off into the bathroom floor so should be an easy fix but no one has bothered to do this - it made getting ready much more difficult (and dangerous) than it should have been. The temperature tap also came loose and fell off multiple times which then made finding the right temperature difficult - the drain cover kept falling off too. The hotel had a small dipping pool on the roof terrace but this didn’t seem well looked after - the balcony “bar” was dirty and dusty, there were rust splashes on the floor and the pool edge had a green hue, it didn’t seem like the pumps were running either. Overall we did not feel like this hotel was anywhere near a four star and was very overpriced considering the issues above and the general quality of the hotel. Would not recommend.

- Alejandro (1/5): Incompetencia - La cama Me dieron la habitación una hora más tarde de la hora que estaba programado el check in, siendo crítica porque tenía una comida de trabajo a las 15 horas que fue la hora que me entregaron la habitación, tenía que ducharme, arreglarme y desplazarme al sitio, llegué más de una hora tarde y quedé mal con mis clientes. El alojamiento no se molestó en escucharme para compensarme, me ofreció dos bebidas del minibar sin cargo o salir una hora más tarde cuando al día siguiente tenía que dejar la habitación temprano. Trato nefasto por parte de la dirección del hotel. No repetiré más ni lo recomiendo. No entiendo que llegando a las 14 horas al hotel, no manden de manera urgente a limpiar la habitación y si lo hicieron cuando volví a quejarme a las 14:45.

- ZoeAhTravel (2/5): Customer service beyond rigidity - To benefit from the $60 saving offered for upfront payment, I firmed my reservation for specific dates in May, just to immediately realize after payment that I had mistakenly entered April instead of May. I called immediately the hotel to ask for a date adjustment, but they said no, for the simple reason that I had already paid. I do not understand why the date could not be changed. I had paid upfront, that it it be for May or any month, they had the money already. The error in date was mine, but the rigidity (absence) in customer service is entirely the Halo boutique hotel. Really disappointing.

- juliajames1001 (10/5): Lovely Rooms, Excellent Service, and Ideal Location - The location is superb, within a very short walk to the Cathedral and the Alcazar. The rooms are large and nicely appointed, with fresh flowers in the bathroom. Front desk staff were kind and professional, especially Diego, who helped me iron out some reservation kinks before we arrived. On the downside, the buffet breakfast was canceled indefinitely, for reasons I never quite understood. And the noise continuing late into the night was bad. First, rowdy people outside in the very narrow alleyways, then rowdy guests arriving after midnight. And finally, after 1:00, loud banging of garbage bins bouncing over cobblestones just below my window. It's just part of the "charm" of these old-town narrow streets. Still, I recommend Halo Boutique Hotel for its large, lovely rooms, excellent service, and ideal location.
- Clink_Clink_Drink (8/5): Perfect little base for exploring - The best thing about this hotel has to be its location, it is right in the centre and absolutely perfectly placed for exploring the city. Despite being so central, it's lovely and quiet and we weren't disturbed at all by outside noise. We didn’t book breakfast but it appears the restaurant is no longer open at the hotel (unsure whether this is temporary or not) but this really isn't an issue as there are so many places to eat around it, including a little bakery/deli just next to the hotel, along with two beautiful restaurants in the square just by it. There is also no rooftop bar currently open but the staff told us we were welcome to buy our own drinks and take them up if we wanted (we didn't because everywhere was rather cheap for wine anyway) but the rooftop view is fantastic from up there, probably better than some of the actual rooftop bars and restaurants we went to. In terms of a pool, there is a small plunge pool on the roof, definitely not big enough to swim but ideal to dip and cool off. There also arent many sun loungers up there, around 4 I think. The room were basic but lovely and had a real authentic feel to them. We stayed in a junior suite and it wasn't very big at all but was enough for us. We had a fridge in our room, but I'm not sure whether this is standsrd in all roooms. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and you can borrow an iron and ironing board from reception if required. The shower is brilliant, really powerful and they also refilled the shower gel/shampoo supply daily. Along with the location, one of the standout things about the hotel is the staff, they were the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered in a long time. All in all, this is a great little hotel as a good central base for exploring.

We also thought the rooftop terrace had a bar...it doesn't. Don't be fooled by a rooftop swimming pool either. It is a dip pool only....on the positive, the rooms are very big and modern, bathrooms are huge. Just don't go expecting brekkie at your hotel...it isn't happening. Lovely central location though, and I would stay here again, but not with certain expectations.

- GBFoodJunki (6/5): Could have been better - We so wanted to like the Halo Boutique and we did like parts of our stay. However we felt a number of things could have been much better. First the good things. The hotel is in a very good position being on a relatively quiet street off a nice square in the old town. Just a few minutes’ walk from the cathedral. The property had character and charm and was in generally a good condition. The staff were very friendly. Nice roof terrace with pool. Now the less good. Our room (apparently an upgrade) had virtually no storage space. A smallish cupboard and very few drawers meant we were living mostly out of our cases for 4 nights. Very basic tea and coffee supplies (two small milk cuplets, no sweeteners, and only enough water for our first 24 hours (that was the hotel policy). Aircon was on and off indiscriminately. There was no hot tub even though it was stated in our Expedia booking. Apparently the standard rooms have baths with jets but none have hot tubs, which we’d take to be multi-person round jacuzzi style baths. There were minimal bathroom extras (eg a few tiny gel and shampoo bottles in one, no facecloths and no other supplies eg shower cap, dental kits, sewing kits etc). No hairdryer either - we had to ask for one at reception. I mention all these items as the Halo was the third and last 4 star hotel we stayed at in Spain and the first two, also 4 star, had all of these accessories and more. It seemed the hotel was cutting cost corners. Oh and we couldn’t get the bath tap to switch on. Lastly, due to some unexplained problem in the breakfast room, no breakfast could be offered. The hotel did compensate us with a reasonable sum of €18 pppn. From previous reviews, it seemed we didn’t miss much other than of course the convenience factor. With not a massive effort or cost, it could be a very nice 4 star hotel but it certainly wasn’t near the standard of the previous two we stayed at in Malaga and Granada. Something for the owners to ponder.

My room was absolutely fantastic — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and the terrace was a real highlight. Sitting outside with a coffee or a glass of wine, soaking up the Sevillian atmosphere, made the stay feel extra special. It’s those little luxuries that turn a great hotel into a memorable one. The location is ideal for exploring the city, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the people. A very special thank you to Joaquín, who was always friendly, smiling, and genuinely happy to help. His warmth and professionalism made me feel at home from day one and perfectly reflect the spirit of the hotel. This was my first stay here, but it definitely won’t be my last. Halo Boutique Hotel is a gem — stylish, relaxed, and full of heart. Highly, highly recommended!

I really liked the spacious room, the terrace, and the lovely, vibrant Santa Cruz neighborhood. The check-in process felt a bit lengthy, with lots of paperwork to sign, which seemed unnecessary these days, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The room had many different strong lights from the fire control system, TV, and alarms, which made it a bit difficult to fall asleep. For some reason, our phone chargers stopped working when the room lights were turned off, as if the power supply was cut.

Multis voyants défectueux qui éclairent la nuit et dérangeant. ( détecteurs fumées, détecteur de présence et veilleuse TV). C’est paradoxal tous ces petits dysfonctionnements alors que l’hôtel est magnifique et classe.

The staff on reception were friendly & helpful The coffee machine didn't work for the duration of our stay(there was no milk or coffee in it) we had to constantly ask for for coffee. The pineapple juice had turned on our third day, the melon had turned by our final day and they ran out of simple things like cheese! I also had to look for a plate, cutlery and serviettes. The sraff at breakfast were also dressed very casually in jeans which I found disappointing as the reception staff were very smart. We were also disappointed to find no evening meals were available.

La habitación suite superbonita, la cama muy cómoda, el baño espacioso, sobre todo la bañera de hidromasaje, muy grande y una maravilla. El trato del personal ha sido increíble y la ubicación, maravillosa. Cuando vuelva a Sevilla, sin duda volveré a coger este hotel. La luz de cromoterapia de la bañera de hidromasaje no funcionaba bien :(

I was disturbed by the noise overnight from the garbage trucks and construction materials, renovation! Fortunately, with the help and kindness of Natalia at the reception, we managed to change the room to a quiet one on the opposite side of the square!

It rained incessantly throughout our stay and the staff were very helpful, as we spent more time inside than intended. Alejandro, Alex, Olga and everyone took great care of us as we lingered over breakfast and dinner. Facilities excellent, location superb.
- Wouter (9/5): Mooie locatie en zeker aan te raden - Zeer leuke locatie in het oude deel van de stad waar geen auto's komen. De kamers hebben een authentieke uitstraling. De enige opmerking die ik kan geven is dat het bad niet heel erg goed werd uitgewassen door de kuisploeg. Ik kan niet zeggen dat het extreem vuil was, maar we merkte alsnog haar en zeepresten op van de vorige gasten. We hebben dus alvorens gebruik te maken hiervan zelf even uitgekuist.
