Breakfast was filling and had enough choices.and great street food for lunch and dinner is close by. Bar fridge doesn't really keep drinks cold.

- Matticque (4/5): Good when you are looking some cheap place for one night stay. - Good localisation, nearby the city centre. Kind and helpfull staff. Ability to reserve some trips for the next day at the reception. And that is all regarding advantages of this place. Dirty floor inside of the building. Dirty sheets and courtains in the room. Broken shower and really hard bed. Really poor breakfast.

- Liza (8/5): SIMPLE BUT OFFERS ALL WHAT YOU NEED!!! - It is a budget friendly family managed hotel that does its best to satisfy your every request. It may have seen better days but location wise, the cleanliness, AC, wifi, the pool that helps you beat the merciless heat, the simple but tasty breakfast and above all, the wonderful staff especially the very cooperative and reliable male receptionist who assisted me to recover my ATM card that got stuck in the ATM machine. He must have called the bank countless times and never gave up until it was returned to me in time for our departure to Luang Prabang. Thank you sooooo much!!! They should replace the dresser mirror in room 3017 and provide an extra waste can in the room. Also, they should see to it that the breakfast buffet is replenished on time.

The hotel seems a bit run down. The rooftop bar for example has a lot of potential but isn't tidied up for some reason. Our first room was quite dirty. But value for money, can't really complain!

People shouting, slamming doors and dragging furniture around all night. Dirty bathroom, no water pressure for shower or sink. Fridge cable held together poorly by electrical tape.

It’s in a good location for the towns attractions, shops and travel agents. Breakfast was poor and the hotel pool area and it’s surrounds needed attention. The hotel was very noisy and the lighting in the room was very poor just one main light, the bedside light did not work.
- Nancy (7/5): Budget stay in Vang Vieng - Close to the night market, comfy and clean bed. You may have to ask to refill food at the breakfast buffet. There’s lot of waste close to the parking lot. Our room door was fixed with tape.
- Janine (3/5): Very dirty. - Never had a hotel room like this before. Room old and poorly maintained. You can hear everything through the wall. Very dirty, red stains on the sheets (blood?), dirty towels and doormat. We were able to move into another room, at least the bed linen and towels looked fresh, but here too the doormat was very dirty and there was no toilet paper. Reception had some in stock (perhaps this happens more often?). The trash can was not emptied either. Really not recommended.

The breakfast is just ok but I didn’t expect more due to how cheap it is. The cleaners start to literally shout everyday at 8am. Have they considered there might be people sleeping? The fridge didn’t work.

The lift was needed and worked well. Too much uncollected garbage outside. Should clean up the roadside in front of the hotel. Piles of garbage in bags leaned up beside the outside of the right-hand wall. The sound of running water in the bathroom was a bit unnerving . Curtains in room need repair and dirty. Beds were very hard.

It's not a super high end hotel but overall very good value. First room they assigned wasn't ready yet but they quickly assigned another room and it wasn't a major issue.

The smell was vile all through the ‘hotel’ Pool is NOTHING like the pictures! You couldn’t of paid me to get in there! Been traveling for months now all over Thailand and Laos and this was the worst place we have stayed in. Booked for 7 nights left after 4 as we couldn’t take it anymore.

Staff were very accommodating and moved us right away. You could still smell mould in the next room but it wasn’t as bad. Breakfast ends at 9am and if you don’t get there early, the food will run out. You can definitely tell this property is up for sale as it doesn’t seem like the current owner really cares about its cleanliness or maintenance.

- James (9/5): Superb. - Loved the breakfast. Buffet style with rice vegetable, chicken wings, noodles, watermelon mixed vegetables, pizza, sausages, eggs. The roof has the most amazing 360 view of Vang Vieng. The sunsets were superb from here. Staff always smiling and willing to help. Pool was nice when working. Sometimes the pool was green and they had to drain it. Not sure why. Hotel a little bit older but I would stay here again for sure!

The only good thing were the house maids who, when our child was very sick came and changed our linen late at night- We remain very appreciative that they did that. Hotel is in a good location and the pool is in fair condition. Room stank of mold as water is leaking from the shower to the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable, cable TV didn’t work. Breakfast was “fair” Filthy. Nobody cares about the hotel it as it is for sale. Exposed electrical wires which I was particularly nervous about with a two year old!!! Staff smoking in the foyer- To their credit they stopped doing that after asking them to

Not sure, they inspected their rooms or not. It is easily fixing items, just ignored or just don't care? The swimming pool should be cleaning daily, it's too dirty to jump in the pool, and the hotel manager should not hang out the guests sofa (should stay behind the front desk), plus he's smoking freely, don't care about the kids in the area.

The river is not visible even if you stand on the roof. The ACTUAL river is about 400 meters away behind actual riverside hotels. Yes, you can see the mountains. Booking needs to change this listing to match the name on the hotel picture on their website. This is fraud.

- davidnD6158UN (2/5): Scam - fraud - beware - This hotel is running a bait and switch scam. They book you into the Annecy, charge your credit card and send you a confirmation. When you arrive they tell you that there has been a mistake and you will be staying at their "other" hotel. This hotel is old, run down, in a poor location and doesn't have a pool. If you refuse that offer, they say they will let you stay at the Annecy for $18 more per night. I found four other similar reviews in March and April 2023, so their booking mistake seems to be intentional. BEWARE. I also found two reviews that describe the desk clerk as violent.

- Pamela (2/5): - Booked 4 nights, stayed only one. Noisy all night with doors banging, people shouting in corridors. Bathroom & bedroom floor were not clean. Broken sockets, bare wiring & lamp in room. Area around the pool was a mess with empty beer bottles and full ashtrays.
